We NEED an entire album of songs like this. I guess maybe one or two songs with vocals, but an Iommi instrumental album would be EPIC!!!!!
Absofuckinlutely!!
It'd be a doom magnificence
I can smell it now.
Nosaj--Love Iommi but with that symphonic crap,
It reminds me when Ozzy sang on one of Wakeman song, great fucking song but again too much keyboards and symphony.
Remember the 80s(or ask someone who was there)when the keyboard came out,all metal bands went for it-Dio-Judas Priest, ect
@@stevedamien638 If you say that, you should hear Deep Purple, the keyboards there are the best thing on the songs.
The Greatest! guitar player on earth!
Absolutely!
Dear Tony, this is probably the happiest moment of 2021 for me. You are the eternal Iron Man and we live to hear your music. Hugs from Greece!!
I review Black Sabbath on my channel if anyone is interested
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Ετσι!🤘
Greetings from Argentina, we love too, Sabbath and Iommi. 🤘
Be quiet mortals, God is speaking. Always Tony "Iron Man Riffmaster" Iommi. Greetings from Turkey and Bulgaria.
I mean it's just the guy who invented it... the guy I stood 20 ft in front of at my first concert in 1980... the man who IS Metal
My first gig was in 1980 too -- and it was Ozzy!
EXACTLY! Thank you.
Ozzy was fired in 1979.
@@mikegraphone2736 Maybe he saw Ozzy solo?
@@mustlovepretzels If he is talking Ozzy solo,in 1980 he only played in England he didn't play in the States until 1981.
Love how Tony never overdoes anything. All he plays matters and is just enough; not flashy, just enough to deliver.
Yes. Doomy, evil and tasteful at the same time. The Metal Master
The usual stuff you can expect from him but I can't get enough of it.
thats ture musicianship
Brilliant. Iommi sounds heavy in any tuning you put him in.
That's cause he has "just enough" fingers
I think they made a mistake when they named Ozzy the "Price of Darkness", Tony is the one that brought the darkness to Black Sabbath
At last someone else who see the truth 🍺🤘
Ozzy is the clown prince of darkness, it was Iommi's riffs and Geezers lyrics that made sabbath as dark as it was.
@@dantillson8702 a cold one to you sir 🍺!
If Ozzy's the prince of darkness then Tony has to be the king of darkness. The influence this man had on the metal genre is unbelievable. If there was a world without Iommi, there wouldn't be metal, period.
He pretty much invented the Heavy Metal riff
Holy smokes, another heavy piece forged by the Hand of Doom. Amazing.
Greatest guitarist EVER. Nothing else can be said and nobody elses opinion matters.
Concordo plenamente!
Couldn't agree more
El creador del heavy metal
@@solid_snake473!!!!!!!!100!!!!!!
I've been on board since 1974, and still sailing
Exactly why you're the true God father of all metal. Still producing incredible work after 50 plus years on the frets.
@Life Is Peachy opinion is subjective. just because you have a different opinion dose not mean it is correct.
so who in your opinion is the godfather of metal.
@Life Is Peachy damn straight he is
@@daniel-vn4ql Iommi invented metal. Simple as that. While there are more technical, speedier players as never before, it doesn't lessen the influence Iommi still has to this day. The song Black Sabbath started it all
@Life Is Peachy lemme guess, Judas Priest ? They followed Sabbath's lead and sound, just like everyone who came after Sabbath. Who are your metal gods ?
@Life Is Peachy Umm, yes, Tony is and it's not subjective. Pathetic pit.
Doomy and atmospheric. Love it. THE riff master himself
is this for the ad alone? it's a bit long
Wow yes! This should be a band project with a vocalist! AWESOME!
While I can appreciate James Hetfield for what he's done in the past, he will never hold a candle to Iommi himself.
I'm positive Tony met the devil at a crossroads one midnight in his past.
@@PeacefulPirate If it's perfection, why change it? Don't fix what isn't broken.
Tony Iommi, the man who started it all for Metal did not disappoint on this track. KILLER track.
Yes we're aware of what he did.
Toni is his daughter.
He's truly THE Metal Riffmaster
Actually - BLUE CHEER was the first metal band.
@@chrispile3878 Sorry mate! The Brits invented metal not the Yanks, you can't have everything.
We need more Iommi music! This was awesome. Don't let all those riffs you stockpiled go to waste Tony.
Unless his daughter, Toni, does em. But yeah, what he said
Fifty years ago this month, a friend came over to my house (Mom's basement) with 2 records. He said "Here, listen to these". Those 2 records were Black Sabbath and Paranoid. YIKES! The floodgates opened. Then came Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Captain Beyond, Jimi Hendrix, Spirit, Ten Years After, Alice Cooper, Cream, Mountain, Wishbone Ash..... Tony and Sabbath started me down a path I'm still on 50 years later.
That had to be crazy hearing those albums when they were new!!!
Você é então um previlegiado máximo!!!Queria que você fosse meu vizinho,ou um tio p/ ouvir todas suas histórias!Seria demais!!!
Abraços do Brasil!
+1 on the Wishbone Ash a totally underrated band nobody ever mentions. I got a couple of their CDs at a flea market for $1 each probably 10 years ago just to check them out, never even heard of them before that day. I threw it on and was an instant fan and had to buy all their stuff.
@@amosamaralmarao7846 Obrigado, tenha um ótimo dia!
Can't be 50...is that right?! Holy fuck we're old!! :))
You don't need vocals at all if you have music as varied in themes and tones as this is. Quite wonderful...
Great song, I would be awesome if Tony Martin could sing with you again!
Was thinking the same thing, this tune needs a bit of Tony Martin!
Martin took a hit wasnt fair on his part headless cross top 3 sabbath album
Love it! Make a whole album substituting the string section for a vocalist, let the music sing
Yes !!
Martin was underrated imho. His short passage in Sabbath was probably the best era after Ozzy and Dio
I don't give a crap what anyone else on this planet thinks or believes as far as guitarists are concerned, but I'm my humble opinion...Tony Iommi is THE best riff writer ever!!!
Tony is a true master of reality. The godfather of the dark riff. ☮️💙
Nobody has ever, and will never play a guitar the way Tony Iommi can...
No arguments here mate.
Tony Iommi with two finger tips cut off in a metal press in the industrial metal city of Birmingham England is the Father of Heavy Metal.
And Jerry Cantrell is right up there!
Tony never misses with those riffs. forever a metal legend.
@Eddie V It does. These people posting praise are Absolute Mohrons.
@Eddie V thing is, everybody who's metal to this day will cite him as a major influence. His tone, riffs and heaviness inspired generations of metal players. If anything, a lotta people copied his sound and style. No wonder there's a certain sameness
@@ColtraneTaylor and who are your guitar heroes ? Iommi invented metal, like it or not. You can agree to disagree
@Eddie V it's not bad considering it's an advertisement that Tony Iommi and Sergio Momo collaborated on for their new cologne LOL cheers
@Eddie V thousands of songs like it, but thats because he was the laid the blueprint for everything after
This is one of the best metal songs I've heard in a long time. Tony is a Master musician. CRANK THIS SHIT! 🤘🤘
Your right! I wish I had more than just headphones to listen to this! Like a set of Bose 901s!!!!!! We need more up and coming bands like Rainbow, Dio, Sabbath! Anybody got any suggestions?
Sounds really refreshing and great. Heavy and dramatic riffing without lacking a sense of melody. Love it.
Uhhhh tremendo!!!
You say it best
As fresh as Doom can get ;-)
The real Heavy Metal! Tony Iommi the Metal Monster Riff
This is so excellent....I can imagine Ronnie James Dio singing to it! Bravo Sir!
That TONE!! There's only one Tony Iommi, God of Thunder!!!
Nice!!!
Dark Angel.
There is Tony reaching into his endless supply of riffs and Mike works his magic to capture it. Well done guys
That is such a badass sound
This is so awesome it sends chills down my spine. Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi keeps the dark flame of doom burning! This is incredible. Between this song and the tune Tony and Ozzy have recorded coming soon on Ozzy's next album in 2022, it makes us Black Sabbath fanatics have serious withdrawals for another Sabbath album!!!!
Wonder what Geezer's up to these days, he was so awesome with Iommi. Such a perfect metal pairing !
"Keeps the dark flame of doom burning" Spot on. 🤘🤘
You fucking said it man.
I feel so lucky that I’m able to experience Ozzy and Tony making new music.
Another Sabbath album, Yes!!!, but with Bill ofcourse, a double album, the last goodbuy, their sgt. Pepper? I'm wishfull thinking, but can't help it, I love that band. I''ll ask Mother Mary.
I find you in all the Black Sabbath bootlegs. You must be a huge fan..
Mr. Iommi, what a wonderful piece you'vr given us, again! Thank you and may you live prosper, long, and in good health! Greetings from El Salvador!
At 1:20 how many of you had shivers behind your back and exclaimed 'he's the riff king, yesterday today tomorrow, forever and ever, amen' 🤘🎸🤘
Man, that is a heavy crunching riff right there!!

My niece is named Iommi. Her dad was inspired by nobody more than Tony. Legend. Also his son is named Lemmy.
That's the definition of "aged like fine wine"!
Simply amazing! Thank you for gracing us with this masterpiece!
After this song, we should change the saying to: " Aged like Toni Iommi", when something got better with the passing years
That's right, long live the riff master.
My master, thank you for all. Hugs from Brazil.
The Lord of the Riffs is back!
Legit hard rock royalty here. This song should be getting way more attention.
Great song. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Iommi. I got to shake his hand and spoke with him for a couple of minutes. It was after a Black Sabbath Show with Dio. One of the highlights of my life!
Anything Tony does is perfect just the way it is. Doesn't need anything subtracted or added.
I was depressed after Jimi had died and then I heard Black Sabbath. This song took me back to that time. It is an eternal sound, and sorry to say, Ozzy never "got it." Rock on Tony for you are the soul of Sabbath.
1:15 to 1:37 is the epitome of a perfect rhythm and another song unto itself. Tony is the master of developing a rhythm through progressively faster and varied riffs.. it is the characteristic Sabbath song recipe.. build, build, build, vary the tempo.. vary the tempo some more and change the riff (slightly), then change it some more and let the other musicians fill into the void around the rhythm. He's been a master of this reality for decades. Nearly perfect song writing after forever and ever
Nice references 🙄
That's really great song! The biggest respect for Tony Iommi.. 🔥
Long live, Iron Man! You're the best... 🤘🏻
Absolutely amazing solo! Reminds me a phrase by Ozzy on the back cover of Headless Cross vinyl back in the day: “Tony always was and forever will remain the master of metal riff.”
Aside from the fact that it's great to hear something new from Tony. I thought the choice of strings in this song was actually pretty brilliant. Well done. Tony will always be the guy who lead me down the path of nearly 40 years of rock and metal guitar playing.
The strings made this sound even more dramatic. This tune is awesome. Iommi is the one who inspired me to start playing heavy music and riffs that can stand solid on their own. He's still inspiring generations of guitarists to this day
If you like this song check out the one he did for the Birmingham Cathedral. How good it is Tony Iommi with the Birmingham Children's Choir. Cheers
His guitar sound CREATED Heavy Metal! As much as I love Jimmy Page, it's Tony Iommi, hands down as the creator of Heavy Metal Music. End of discussion.

@@IncendiaDivinus Um .. OK
These riffs from Tony are always dark sounding and badass, with Cello and violin I love it! 🤘🎸😈
I had the biggest smile on my face during the solo... The End EP is only 5 years old, but man how did I miss this incredible tone...
Tony Iommy IS the god of Heavy Metal His music is epic
Absolutely amazing!
Please 12 more fragrances from Tony so we can expect a whole new album with 13 new tracks!
Unholy Hell! What a masterpiece of slow tempo heavy, crushing, sinister, sounding riffs! Spooky, witchy, fretboard action! Hellyeah!

Ash(Drummer) 'stole' my prosthetic leg at the Glenn Hughes show in Birmingham back in 2019. All of The Dead Sea Skulls signed that leg already except for Ash. When
he came back it was also signed by Glenn and the rest of his band. Nice to see the 'Skulls' playing with more legends.
Love and sausages xx
LOL great story cheers to you and your leg!!!
Iommi, when I listened to this song I felt like I was in the paradise.
I can't believe there still people who makes good songs.
You're my idol Iommi, you're the reason why I play the guitar, because sometime ago I wanted to give up, but I listened to your songs, and that changed my life.
Hope you keep growing on your career, and we don't need to wish you long live, because you will live ETERNALLY.
Don't get me wrong... Tony is a beast! The Iron Man itself, but that drum! Man, sounds so great!...Powerfull.
I'm just imagining the vocals Dio could have done to compliment this riff, Tony's guitar and Dio's voice were a match made in metal heaven.
TONY...PLEASE...KEEP RECORDING EVERYTHING YOU GOT IN YOUR MIND.....WE NEED YOUR MUSIC...WEE NEED YOU ....WE LOVE YOU..
This is the absolute happiest I have been all day. This song ROCKS!, and is an instant classic. Tony is the man!
The Master of heavy metal puts out new stuff with strings helping turn it up to listen and have a great day .
There are chord passes that are uniquely Iommi all over this track and still sounds fresh & modern. Killer!
The reason i started playin guitar! Thank you, Mr Iommi!
He's not even using his full potential of guitar playing and it still sounds amazing. This is how u know Iommi is a living legend.
Riffmaster is back !!!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
The only downside to this....I wish there was more! Fantastic and showing the youngsters how its done. Great less is more feel especially on the solo without out all of the over the top effects and speed for speeds sake. Still got the feel and tone in the pentatonics...gosh..want to pick up my guitar and play now, but have to start working. Great stuff Mr Iommi! (major influence on me)
I could listen to this all day as
a loop....I love guitar played the way he plays it!!!❤❤
Major influence on me as well, his riffs are so timeless and perfect. He pushed me to incorporate heavy riffs in my playing. Him, Page and Blackmore are my all-time guitar heroes, among others. Iommi was never a shredder but his playing sounded so huge and evil, i was a fan instantly
This song is still great, anything the riff god puts out demands our undivided attention.

Wonderful to hear Tony Iommi! Love The doomy vibe. Black Sabbath were so innovative and original, back in the day, and who could forget those HUGE riffs that Iommi came up with. He's a legend and complete iconic!
Iron Man, Into The Void, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath etc etc. It doesn't get any better than that. They inspired and are still inspiring legions of metal bands to this day
Tony chose Brian May as his Rock God on Johnny Walker Rock show on Saturday!!
@@Deedee-ee1sg Brian May has a great dirty guitar sound, but I could never compare Black Sabbath to Queen. Tony IS the Riff Master and the Dark Overlord of Metal.
A haunting Ozzy vocal of about 45 seconds near the beginning, and near the end would be awesome, but this is clearly badass enough!!
Catchy tune. Would be great to hear Tony Martin wailing something over the top!
Oh please, no. So many other metal singers come to mind.
nah Ozzy
So you guys want a "never was", a "has been" and a dead guy to sing for Tony?
If we're going with obvious choices, then I'd suggest Glen Hughes
Or Ian Gillian
I dont know who, but I definitely need vocals
He's just freaking awesome.
Who TF dared to dislike this??
Anyway, FATHER Iommi is back! 🖤🤘🏻 And we're all thankful for it 😌
I agree!
probably rap music fans or metalheads who are jealous because its not their idol who create this chef d'oeuvre !
I guess not everybody likes slow, doomy metal like this. They're probably more obsessed with shredders like Malmsteen or others who can only play at 2000 mph and nothing else. Don't get me wrong, It's impressive but it gets tedious and boring after a while. And don't get me started on black metal lol. Where's the drama and tension in that ?
@skatetron it smells heavy! LOL cheers
Tony you are still the first & last word in heavy metal. This made me smile…in a dark way of course.
Amen
Good track, it has this "Out of my mind" vibe
I hear a lot of "Follow The Tears" too.
