Steph and Giannis absolutely teams would trade for him, since Steph can play off ball and Giannis can just run over other players. LeBron it would depend on how the roster is set up. If LeBron is not surrounded with 3&D players then he won’t win a championship with the new team.

@@KaseyC. Probably, but it depends on what Memphis has to give up for him. Like are they SERIOUS contenders if they have to give everything of value but Ja? Like Jackson Jr., Bane, Brooks and Zaire Williams? If I'm Memphis maybe I'd rather have those guys.

Also, you're wrong with NOP. KD and BI, would be one of the most dangerous duo's in the NBA and better than Zion and KD. Lets not forget that aside from being an ESPN highlight reel, Zion does not have much else to offer. No experience, he's not a leader, all reports say he lives in his own world, he's always injured and IMO this wont end until he drops down to 220-230, etc. etc. etc.
I think Raptors offer of OG, Trent Jr, minus Barnes, was best on the table talent wise, and would have included 3 first round picks. Both guys are Elite 3 and D young guys, with great upside, plus the picks and maybe Siakim or filler guys added.
Great work sir. I agree. As a spurs fan I would love to have KD. We should of given DJ Poetl Richardson and 3 first rounds. Then picked up the spare parts in free agency.
Brandon Ingram had better stats than KD in the playoffs in literally every stat except for free throw % while playing against the team with the best record in the league.
Brandon Ingram is my pelicans best player..Zion May be more physically talented but B.I. Is the leader and most versatile player. KD probably wouldn’t want the team to trade neither B.I. Nore Zion. He wants to go to a team that’s already stacked ready to go

The Nets trading KD to Memphis for McCullom is actually intriguing. They could maybe include Portland as a 3rd Team. Maybe trade Kyrie an expiring contract for Dame Dolla. CJ, Dame, and Ben Simmons. Isn't that what Dame wanted all along in Portland.
1. Ben Simmons won't play. 2. Kyrie will find reasons not to play 3. KD will play less than 3/4 the season bc he's being pushed 38min+ per game. No one is betting their future on a part time KD who might play for 2 years max on a team. He's proven he's not loyal.

Sidenote: As a New Zealand homer, I'd LOVE Adams to the Nets, the mentorship/Kiwi pairing of Sean Marks and Adams may be a decade late, now that Adams is a veteran, but it would be cool to finally convince Adams to represent internationally, having turned down multiple requests either for rests or when he first started when he felt his skills were raw.
I get why kd would be disappointed with the nets (not the org, but the players). Joe Harris didn’t play at all last year, Ben Simmons didn’t play after the trade and, kyrie wouldn’t get vaccinated. Harris makes about 17 mil, kyrie is about 33 mil and Simmons is 29 mil. Most of the nets cap space (47.32%) was filled with people who weren’t even on court. Kd was the only reason that team even made the playoffs, if he was heathy he put the team on his back. With all that said, demanding a trade with 4 years left on your contract is completely unreasonable, but I get why he wanted out. Assuming Simmons and Harris are healthy this season the nets look pretty strong still. Losing Bruce brown stings tho. He was great for the nets.
That's actually not a bad take. "Every team is unwilling to include a young star because a young star is their future, which says that they don't think their future is safe with Kevin Durant." Sounds exactly right. Honestly though, I think I would do the same. Who the hell wants that potential migraine hanging over their heads, not knowing when it's going to go off?
TBH I don't see any need for KD and Kyrie to go anywhere from Brooklyn. They have 3 tip-of-the-top elite shooters in Seth, Harris and Mills, have reasonably promising Cam Thomas, they have Nick Claxton and Royce O'Neal to do the dirty job, they have TJ Warren and Ben Simmons as high-risk-high-reward assets.
Agree totally - this is the best analysis I have seen about the KD situation. KD made a huge mistake in departing Golden State for Brooklyn. KD - you made your bed on your own. Lay in it and don't expect others to disadvantage themselves to give you what you want and then you renege. KD: you probably won your last championship in your career with the Warriors in 2018.
Seems to me that this was a "We will listen to offers and unless they offer everything and the kitchen sink we will decline them until KD calms down so we can pretend none of this ever happened." situation. The Nets were never serious about moving him and are banking on winning solving all their problems. I never thought KD was a low-key toxic player before. For most of his career you never hears anything from him.
The Pelicans were the perfect trade partner. I thought if they waited until October they would deal. The deal had to be far better than proposed. If teams wanted KD they should have put in serious offers rather than wait until October because the door is now shut.
Know what actually happened was the Nets wanted too much for KD, rightfully so! You can’t give up what Kd is worth because you literally won’t have a team! So I understand that and I also understand Brooklyn’s part of not giving them away
KD was the second best Achilles tear come back ever. Check out the stat line on Dominique Wilkins he tore his 42 games in the 91-92 season, came back and played 71 games 92-93 season and had one of his best seasons of his career. I remember when Nique tore his they all said his career was over.
Idk where I heard this from, but he used to wear 35 because his childhood coach died at 35, so he wears 35 in honor of him and he even said he’s going to retire at 35 but at this point who knows.
Crazy part is they're contenders with KD & Kyrie not getting traded. Can't wait to see Ben Simmons play with these two who can shoot extremely well which is his only real weakness geesh
I hope all the criticism and negativity results in KD, Kyrie, and Ben Simmons all playing with a collective huge chip on their shoulder... Steve Nash coaching with a huge chip on his shoulder... the GM and front office all managing with a huge chip on their shoulder... everybody just mad... then focusing that aggression into some "Nets vs everybody" killer mode on the court (probably in the locker room, practice, and other places too)... and all of that then turning into the Nets making the finals to face-off against the Clippers or the Warriors for the chip in an epic game seven.
Lots of teams definitely wanted KD for a title run. What they didn't want to do was either 1.) Gut their entire team making them worse 2.) destroy their entire future for a 34 year old who has probably 2 prime years left. It's not toxicity, it's the high demand for a 34 year old who's had health issues. Due to age and health concerns, the Jaylen Brown offer from the Celtics which included Derrick white and a 1st round pick, was a fantastic offer, and the Nets wanted Marcus Smart as well, proving they only wanted to offer clown offers that had no chance of occurring.
I think it’s fantastic that no one wanted to trade something like their next 20 years of firsts & starting 5 for KD. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy 😂

People criticized the wizards for the bradley beal contract, and yeah it's too much, but loyalty should be rewarded
unwilling to carry the load for a team ? how?
@@sjsupa he has shown he only wants to go to teams with at least 2 other all stars. He wants easy rings and when it wasnt easy in Brooklyn he wanted out.
@@Clapstain seeking all star helps and "unwilling to carry the team" are 2 different things. "unwilling to carry the team" usually means when teammates were hurt or had a bad game, one would refuse to carry additional workload. KD is opposite of that attitude. As far as seeking all star helps, isn't it the same for every superstar nowadays? Even a home grown team GSW seeked out KD.
@@sjsupa not all superstars, but almost all and its ruining the game. I'll give you the carry the team part. That's not the main point of what I'm saying though. I'm not sure if the mentality is childish or egotistical, but getting people fired, demanding trades, getting into drama with teammates, and making fake accounts online is the wrong way to do things.
@@Clapstain Thank you for the clarification.
This video aged so well so far
Imagine if LeBron, Curry or Giannis was available to trade. You know you will trade everything you have for them because they don't have a toxic attitude like KD.
Steph and Giannis absolutely teams would trade for him, since Steph can play off ball and Giannis can just run over other players.
LeBron it would depend on how the roster is set up. If LeBron is not surrounded with 3&D players then he won’t win a championship with the new team.
@@pamoon_ this
Not for LeBron because he is old and his impact is not the same anymore. He also brings a toxic element, just more covert.
only giannas and doncic has that type of value due to their dominance and youth
Not LeBron. Eventually even he will get old.
Glad you decided to make a video when something actually happened!
Honestly I think age does play a big factor. If he were 29 or 30 even I imagine a team goes for it even with his track record of leaving you out to dry. But at 34 I don't think you can build around him so if you're not an immediate championship contender, like a real one that can win it after the trade well...it doesn't make sense.
Would you trade "pre All Star" Kobe for "Wizards* MJ?!?
Bucks trade young Giannis for All Star Blake Griffin?!?!
Talking about KD/Russ/Harden like they JUST took OKC to the finals...when that was TEN YEARS AGO!!!
@@darrengordon-hill Exactly
Teams like Memphis getting KD would immediately make them contenders though
Granted, Memphis, Phoenix, etc. Are arguably already contenders, so why trade for KD anyway?
@@KaseyC. Probably, but it depends on what Memphis has to give up for him. Like are they SERIOUS contenders if they have to give everything of value but Ja? Like Jackson Jr., Bane, Brooks and Zaire Williams? If I'm Memphis maybe I'd rather have those guys.
@@darrengordon-hill your analogy is a bit ridiculous considering KD’s numbers are actually better than his MVP season 😂😂😂
Casey, can you make a video about stuff about the 2021-2022 NBA season you were right and wrong about?
Just noticed you're about to cross the 200K subs threshold! Congrats!
I love your videos
The Memphis one might actually be the best.
There's some good trade value with Clarke and Brooks and i still think if Ziaire can be a top 3 option and develop as a star, he would reach that ceiling.
Wasnt there a poll asking him NOT to make another kd vid yet?
Yes, and around 77% said no to KD video.
Great work sir. I agree. As a spurs fan I would love to have KD. We should of given DJ Poetl Richardson and 3 first rounds. Then picked up the spare parts in free agency.
Casey u are my favorite youtuber ur the one I watch for nba news and updates
This guy makes more sense than the majority of front offices... imo
Only if he was younger. He's almost 34 I wouldn't give up Ingram that's crazy
Nore Zion. He wants to go to a team that’s already stacked ready to go
@@mont-doggBeats nigga bron did them dirty 🤣😆
@@Warriorhasappeared Bron got his azz whipped by the pelicans and was eliminated from the play in 😂🤷🏿♂️
Very good analysis.
Owners need to do something, they are paying players not other way around
The fact that there are offers from these teams proved that they want kd, the Nets obviously don't want to trade Kd.
No the offers weren't serious. The Nets never turned down a serious offer.
@@almac9203 cause they knew a smart business man wouldn’t accept the trade and the owners 1st born for the deal to get done😁
@@mikejones1765 the offers weren't serious. The price wasn't unreasonable. The argument pushed by people like you was total nonsense. If I name the price as Tatum Brown and 4 picks you would have a point but if the price is Brown Smart White and 3 picks then you don't have a point. The price named was high but not unreasonable. Gobert went for far more relative to the talent on offer.
in the end of the day, Durant will likely ask for a trade by next season any way. so teams just decided to wait
Teams did want KD, but the Nets wanted too much in return
The Nets trading KD to Memphis for McCullom is actually intriguing. They could maybe include Portland as a 3rd Team. Maybe trade Kyrie an expiring contract for Dame Dolla. CJ, Dame, and Ben Simmons. Isn't that what Dame wanted all along in Portland.
1. Ben Simmons won't play.
2. Kyrie will find reasons not to play
3. KD will play less than 3/4 the season bc he's being pushed 38min+ per game.
No one is betting their future on a part time KD who might play for 2 years max on a team. He's proven he's not loyal.
The nets couldn't have been more picky with the trades lol
All of these teams offering their future for KD goes a long way toward explaining why those teams haven't won a championship in the past 8 years.

Somehow I don't think Durant would've caused all this drama if it wasn't for the Warriors winning the championship
Media duh
Naw if the nets kept there word and signed KI long term like they promised when KD signed…
After the playoffs i think they think of him more like a great player that can't win without the Warriors help IMO. So far it's been true.
Lemme save you all some time. It has nothing to do with KD, the Nets just wanted another teams entire roster or 10 future 1st round picks for him because they are delusional
Owwwwwwhhh u called it ! They don't want him and I know why? He's just not consistent ... he's too much of an island ! He cant exist in a system and he'll dip in a hot sec. Curry was right to turn him and lebrone down! Nice vid man love how you callin thez guys and there bs out ! Im Subscribe my man!
Sidenote: As a New Zealand homer, I'd LOVE Adams to the Nets, the mentorship/Kiwi pairing of Sean Marks and Adams may be a decade late, now that Adams is a veteran, but it would be cool to finally convince Adams to represent internationally, having turned down multiple requests either for rests or when he first started when he felt his skills were raw.
as a new zealander no stfu
As a memphian I agree with you. I don’t get most of what you said but send Adams to Brooklyn and get KD to us
@@Grizz.EditzYT Basically he wants Adams to go to the Net’s so Sean Marks can convince him to represent New Zealand in international competition.
Preach it brother 🥂🤘👍
How can i get D1/2/3/4 offers if im from Europe(Luxembourg)can someone help me 😐
PLOT TWIST: KD GOES TO KINGS
I love that these little NBA man-babies aren’t getting their way anymore. You signed a contract. Stay and honor your contract like a man. Simple.
Instead of kd going somewhere they should just build around him on the nets
Remember when KD said Lebron attract toxicity?
U do know he was talking about his fan base right?…u know some media talking heads etc
@@mikejones1765 You can read that I didn’t say Lebron *is* toxic right?
Same environment around KD now with media and fanbase.
It's hard to be a fan of someone who keeps changing teams
😁😂 since when ?
I believe the Nets Jacked up the offers on purpose because they didn't want to trade him.
almost 200k. almost there!
Surprisingly LeBron has a smart brain (people skills) even tho he never went to college & didn’t have a dad growing up
33 yr old KD paired with Ja sounds like a worse version of a previous KD duo.
Only championship
First and last
The Nets have a toxic trio to deal with going forward. No one wants KD or Kyrie if they have to trade away their best guys!
The Pelicans Suns and Celtics have perfect trades. KD will love the environment and will not want to leave.
The Pelicans were the perfect trade partner. I thought if they waited until October they would deal. The deal had to be far better than proposed. If teams wanted KD they should have put in serious offers rather than wait until October because the door is now shut.
Ad looking hurt at the beginning is hilarious
Well said 🏀😃
Know what actually happened was the Nets wanted too much for KD, rightfully so! You can’t give up what Kd is worth because you literally won’t have a team! So I understand that and I also understand Brooklyn’s part of not giving them away
ingram is 24, how old is kd? is he still at prime? for how long?
kd? top 10 all time? hell nah he aint even top 20 wtf 1 mvp and 2 chips be real
KD loves when the media comes against him and I love KD.
Is the trade deadline up?
i think free agency is over
Been a fan but Casey you need to calm down a little.
Casey, if you keep making 'em. I'll keep watching 'em.
who's the better rookie defender, herb or mobley
I think it’s fantastic that no one wanted to trade something like their next 20 years of firsts & starting 5 for KD. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy 😂
it's easy
1. You have to give an entire team and invest lots of money
2. Nowadays you know that the minute a superstar is not happy he will force a trade
Nets won.. They were never gonna trade him
KD already said he is retiring at 35 in the past. People forgot that. I don't think he did.
He tweeted out on August 15, 2022 and said that he doesn’t plan on retiring anytime soon
I wouldn't want him on my team either. He is a quitter and he has the biggest Ego in all of basketball. Everytime it gets rough he quits.
I’m glad the front office isn’t giving into KDs ridiculous commands and taking back control. He wanted to get traded, he wanted Sean Mark’s gone, he wanted Steve Nash gone. They said no because he has no leverage so he has no choice but to just stick out and play.
Any team that he would go to would no longer be the same team that it was
5:55 man is acting like he’s 15
I totally agree 👌🏼
The bottom line is that KD did it to himself.
KD not being traded, shows how competitive the league is.
Also, he kinda just put a no trade clause on himself. The Nets can’t trade him…ever
