    Most helpful video I’ve seen . My issue is that the connectors are difficult to align because the cushions are large (non detachable) - any advice for this?

    • @the323vlog4
      @the323vlog4  2 роки тому

      I have definitely struggled with this issue myself! If you have any clamps that fit the cushions, I would try that. Put some towels in between the clamp head and the cushions so you don’t get them dirty. If you don’t have clamps that big, you might see if somebody can help you pull the cushion back while you align them

    Recently got an older reclining sectional. The previous owner did not use (and probably threw out) any connecting hardware. I bought the second style shown, but because the bottoms move with reclining, we can’t use them. What would you recommend?

    Hi, great video!
    We bought 3 seat sofa with 2 recliners on each end. Unfortunately manufacturers didn't align middle seat properly. So, it's sort of more pulled inside.
    Is it hard to realign those locking brackets?
    One side is like your last example, while other is like your 2nd locking example? Thank you

    • @the323vlog4
      @the323vlog4  Рік тому +1

      Sorry for the delayed response. Two out of the three brackets can easily be screwed into a different place. The ones that are part of the metal frame obviously can’t be relocated.

    My sectional came with the plastic alligator clips…they continually work loose. I bought the interlocking, I’m a little nervous to drill them into my sectional. Which do you consider the best?

    • @the323vlog4
      @the323vlog4  Рік тому

      The interlocking connectors work great if there’s not too much padding on the side of the recliners, and you actually can get them connected. I would not recommend putting them on there if you ever intend to separate the pieces with a visible edge. They also make metal alligator clips that are much better at staying together.

    • @the323vlog4
      @the323vlog4  2 роки тому

      I usually stand behind it and pull backwards at an angle. It’s hard to explain. Sometimes, it helps to have someone at least hold the piece that you’re disconnecting from because it tends to pull with it.

    Can I rearrange them in order to face the TV better in my new living room? I have a [__ shaped sectional with one end piece being the arm rest with 2 complete seats plus a 1/2 of corner seat that attaches to the other 1/2 (completing the corner) with 3 complete seats that attaches to the chase with arm rest at end. The corner seat and the arm rests on both pieces makes it impossible to rearrange for a different shape. My living room is too small to turn the whole sectional the other direction as that cuts off over half of our space and there's only one viable option for our "TV wall" I just paid this piece off unfortunately, so new furniture isn't an option rn... Any diy suggestions you can suggest? I am willing to add a piece if I can get the chase part with 3 seats to also face towards the TV wall as well. The best way to explain my issue is the only part facing the TV directly is the 2 piece with 1/2 corner.. the rest is like sitting in a theater with the screen to the left instead of ahead infront... Watching TV as a family of 4 isn't a luxury we have now unless 3 of us sacrifice the crick in our necks after an hour or so... (We have 2 dogs that also have their own seats, usually on end of chase & corner spot) Any advice?

    • @the323vlog4
