  • iPhone 6s overheating and getting hot? Usually the problem is caused by excessive running apps, but in this tutorial video, we demonstrated a logic board repair method. After current detecting and rosin detecting, we can confirm that the problem was caused by damaged capacitors inside the WiFi module. With our repairing experience, we adopt a exclusive repair solution to fix the iPhone 6s high temperature warning screen issue.

    How temperature warning works on IPhone? I never encounter this issue before. It does shut down all the apps and can’t be use after this warning shows up? Does after cooldown with 0 app running? There is once I forgot to turn off my game, I left it in my pocket for an hour without notice. But when I turn on I still see my game running, I’m not sure if the temperature warning did or didn’t show up. My phone gets quite hot by doing that.

When i cut only a little piece from other ICs they often stop working and the wifi ic will not get damaged by removing these two capacitors it seems a bit strange! Most likely they were on the power line. There can be a lot of such capacitors on the this line. This is normal.

    • @pldaniels
      @pldaniels 6 років тому +12

      They provide general power rail decoupling. Without them present the operational envelope of the device may be reduced slightly but in practice it tends not to be too bad; this mostly is because typically when designing these circuits the creators will put quite a few of these decoupling caps across the board in many areas simply as a default behaviour as good preventative design.

    • @fixthisone
      @fixthisone 6 років тому +4

      W Dora If they’re on the power rail it should be ok as long as the WiFi module doesn’t demand too much power at any point which could dip the voltage too low momentarily. If there is substantial noise on the line that the caps were filtering out it could cause issues down the line. Can’t really tell without long term testing but should be fine
