Before anyone converts their Karma to gold just realize there are some goals (like crafting all legendary gen 3 variants) that can cost 30m+ karma. If thats an eventual goal don't waste karma. I probably would keep atleast 5m karma as a baseline either way though.

6:50 For the Exotic hunter achievement, you can also get it done by equipping/binding the weapon to a character.
You don't have to salvage it if you wanna use it and the stats are good.

From what I’ve seen, karma is more of a cosmetical currency. I often see vendors selling minis, novelties, or other collectibles for large amounts of karma like 200-300k. If you’re a completionist you may want to save up your karma for them

I have 750 hours on this game but only 5000 achievement points, i realy like this game for it wonderful community and im almost done with my second leggy: frostfang (i need 160 more spirit shards 😭)
If you need spirit shards you should give WvW a go. Lot of fun and the Tomes of knowledge make it worthwhile while also doing the Gift of Battle reward track. Dragons Stand Meta also rewards with 3 daily.

If you plan on crafting legendaries do not convert your kharma . You need it for crafting.
Method 2 is 2 gold per week...I don't think that should qualify as a karma to gold money making method lol.
If I need gold fast, there is the visa option.
It's a win - win - win situation.
I get gold.
Devs get money to keep improving the game.
