You don't actually have to pour it on the brick and it doesn't have to be boiling hot You just pour clean water in a tub and set the brick in it and wait for it to absorb all the water (about 30 minutes) and then knead it with your hand. This is also what they advise on their website.
Ybs prank first you go to the store and then get the eco earth then you go to the cashier give it to him then give him money Sorry I just had to make the joke
Change it once a month for which pet? For a tarantula, you only need to change the substrate every 6 months to a year. They are pretty clean animals so once a month may be overkill. Especially if you have an aggressive species that doesn't like to be disturbed, burrows, and webs heavy. No one wants to disturb that once a month, plus you'll stress out the T something fierce. They can take a bit to acclimate to their homes, so uprooting them every 30 days may piss them off. Plus the stress on you trying to unbury an aggressive T. No thanks for me 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
M for this video it was a gargoyle gecko. i don’t know too much about tarantulas and it sounds like you’re probably doing the right thing by not changing it too often BUT gargoyle/crested geckos are arboreal so they do practically nothing with their substrate but poop/pee on it. eco earth is sadly a great breeding ground for bacteria so it’s consistently recommend to be changed monthly for g/c geckos! :)
You can change it every 4-6 months for leopard geckos

i have a ball python and im using it for that but i cant get tje substrate to dry quite enough, what should i do?
jazzy’s life is that happening when you are making the substrate or when you are misting the tank down ?
Angela Riekki on the package it says to let dry and mine has been sitting for a day and is still super wet
jazzy’s life maybe try adding a bit less water and maybe spreading it out on something flat would help it air dry better
Buy aspen substrate, good for ball pythons and cheaper.
If you set up a colony of isopods you'll definitely be fine for leaving it for 6 months or more.
Can you use this for tortoises for indoor months?
Just take cold tap or rain water, let it soak overnight and it’s ready. Why making such a mess 😂
How to buy ???
YBS prank you can buy at most petstores ex. Petsmart or other reptile stores near you

We were talking about a gecko not a tarantula
@@springtimejerrylove sorry about that
So get tap water and boil it and do nothing else?
Was watching with the sound off
McNutty yes!! And pretty much just adding water until you get the consistency you desire
