@@DnAReptilia yeah true, I ended up picking up 2 bags of exo-terra coco husk I was thinking about mixing in with the eco earth would that be a good idea? Idk if that helps the humidity by combining substrates
im bad at math and i plan on making a terrarium with a naturalistic waterfall and i couldnt come to figure out how much substrate i needed since i have a 40 gallon breeder aquarium and most sources dont really help but this video does help visually so i plan on getting i dont know 6 bricks if thats any good anyways thanks for the help
What about sterilization? I have moistened bricks and put in large tote to dry out. Will be mixing with forest floor for snakes. Do I need to do anything else with it ( some people have suggested baking both substrates) Thanks.
I was wondering if you were going to say hot water, yes, hot water will cause the bricks to expand 10 fold within minutes, they just melted in my hand. Cold water absolutely DID NOTHING, BRICK WERE STILL SOLID AND IMPOSSIBLE TO TEAR APART.
I just purchased a bag for my gecko I seen the bricks but I thought I'd get more with the bag lol next time I'll get the bricks very helpful
I need to know what the difference is between ecoearth and coconut husk brick😫help! Sos!
Thank you so much for this video. Get my first ball python on the 6th of next month and I'm super excited and learning so much! :)
Would one brick be good enough for a 40 gallon glass tank?
Good possibility it would be enough...i would get 2 small bricks so you will have some extra to fill in after some spot cleanings

One more question. Did you use 3/4 gallon for each brick or 1/4 for each totaling 3/4.
this really helped!

Can I wet all the bricks and store them in a container like that?
For about one month ...but id watch for possible mold as it could happen
Can i use for tarantula?
Maybe...im not 100% on that though
