I live in Virginia and had to do jury duty for a criminal case back in early February. I was on for one day, three hours to be exact. Just got my payment for my service that day, a check fir $30.
The trial ended up not happening because the defense was trying to add evidence in last minute that required different expert witnesses, so the poor sherif had to keep us entertained 🤣 he pulls out his phone, hooks it up to the computer in front of us, and goes through the pictures he took of things he found metal detecting. It was so fucking wholesome

I once had a sore back and took a muscle relaxer and forged through a scheduled hair appt. My hairdresser took a photo of me sleeping at the sink with a product on my hair. I felt betrayed. That it was very unprofessional. I can't imagine what it feels like to have your spouse do that, after you've worked 14 hours . It's a total lack of compassion and support

Many people take photos and video to try to make their loved ones understand how bad their addiction is. Denial is a thick wall. And unless you live with an addict, you can't judge. Most addicts lose their relationships for good reason. they get kicked out of their family homes and become homeless for a reason. Emily is very biased and she's seriously in our ears with her support for JD.

I do not understand this argument at all? It is a crucial element to the case which is evident since his team are trying to downplay it. Saying he was abusive when he drank isn't implying all people who drink are abusive. It's alleging that Johnny was abusive. This is also an important element to the case of libel. His problems have been an open secret within Hollywood for years. The Rolling Stone article that came out months before Amber’s op-ed was far more damning then anything she wrote. He became a liability to studios due to his behavior.

Isn't it interesting she claims in one of those recordings leaks 2 years ago that she doesn't want to be painted as a gold digger who plotted and spent years collected evidence against him... curiouser still, that she claimed (I believe, I'm sure someone will correct if I'm wrong) the abuse occurred between 2014-2016 but has evidence from 2013. 🤔💩🤔💩🤔

The stark contrast between her tone in the audio/video clips that she recorded versus the ones we heard yesterday that someone else recorded is very telling. My husband used to do that crap to me. He would secretly record me and intentionally speak very calmly, almost sing-song acting like he had no idea what was wrong or why I was acting so "crazy" when in reality, he just got done berating and assaulting me before he started recording. The tone of her voice in the video of him slamming cabinet doors makes me CRAZY.

I have to disagree. The statistics clearly show a correlation between SUD or substance use disorder and violence especially when it comes to IPV or intimate partner violence. It is not an a=b equation where it is a guaranteed outcome but it does increase the likelihood of there being violence. Not taking sides but I do think I see where the attorney may be trying to go with this all. I do understand they both partook in use and thus they both had heightened risk of an increase in violence or violent tendencies. Just wanted to make the statement that drug and alcohol abuse does correlate with an increase in violence.

People who've never lived with a true narcissist can't understand how they "attack" you. They get in your face and will yell at you and push your buttons and they won't stop. This can go on for HOURS. You're not allowed to walk away. They just follow. The conversation doesn't end until THEY decide it ends. They just came at you and at you and at you until you break and scream back something you normally wouldn't say to a person. They just won't stop until they get the reaction out of you they want: which is to break you. Because that gives them the feeling of being in control.

This trial has the merit to bring to light the unfairness and the damages women or men can do to their partners and how scary it feels to try to even prove your point when you know that you could get arrested or be thrown out of your own house if you don't just accept to be abused and live in a constant nightmare as a 8 month old complaint can be filed and admitted for a TRO.

I honestly don’t see how this is helping Heard. As an abuse victim you don’t say “my husband punched me”. You say “I walked into a door” etc it’s only when you become an abuse survivor you can finally speak your truth. JD will never have admitted to physical abuse when he was in the middle of the abuse. Now as a survivor he will tell his truth. Heard’s team have clearly never handled DV survivors or they are completely clueless about DV

Just incase anyone is curious, when Depp went on a tangent discussing serotonin and dopamine and how that relates to him taking Ecstacy (rather him NOT taking it), what he was trying to get at was that opiate addicts' brains cease to create those chemicals and those chemicals are how Ecstacy works. The drug dumps all of the brains happy chemicals at once, and if you don't have serotonin/dopamine production it would be pointless to take because it wouldn't work. He took too long to get to the point, but pretty sure that's the point he was trying to make. Sometimes I wish he would step it up a bit when speaking, he can be WAY too measured at times and it gives me anxiety. Lol. Better safe than sorry though, I guess.

Idk why this thought keeps playing in my mind, but with it sure looking like she had been planning this for awhile and was just recording things to make him look bad when he didn't know she was even taping him, I keep questioning why she didn't actually give herself bruises. Like, it seems lazy to try to stage the scene in 2016 by throwing around a bunch of items throughout all the different penthouses and just taking pics of that. She seems like she a spiteful, calculating person that it just shocks me that she didn't have her friend actually throw a phone at her face, so that she did appear to have marks when the cops showed up. I know that's kinda morbid thought to have, but if ur willing to stage the house and break al these things for evidence, why not stage bruises too cause it would've made her claims more believable. Maybe she didn't think it would ever get this far and didn't expect to have to continue dealing with it years later. Probably figured like she said that he was a coward and wouldn't fight back against her so he'd give her what she wanted, but still its a very lazy setup. To call the cops and not even want them to come inside, just wanted to show them being called on the night, idk its crazy to me cause she was leaving so many holes. Maybe she figured she has always gotten away with this bullshit cause she's a young, attractive woman but still. Idk. Its reckless

She has already crushed his career with her lying op-ed and he wants the world to know her part and now we all do. Her career will be obliterated with this case and in the end…that’s all Johnny wanted and to gain back some credibility. He prob won’t win but in the court of public opinion, he has!

He seems to tell his story, and not necessarily want to make AH look like a monster. He tries to protect her the best he can while advocating for himself. Her team seems to be doing the opposite- playing up his substance abuse while downplaying hers; making her look like the poor abused victim and him as the only abuser. It to me gives him way more credibility that he is willing to discuss the good, bad and ugly of his behavior while denying he's ever touched her which seems believable when she's claiming to only be the victim. Hes said he never touched her in anger, she admits to hitting him and verbally abuses him on tape but denies it in other situations. the irony in amber being represented by someone so aggressive with his gaslighting… is just astounding. you think she would of went with a lawyer that was more level headed if she wanted to run the victim narrative as much as she has been.

Monday there should be some “pre-luminary matters” regarding the fliers placed on cars in the parking lot (possibly including those of the jurors) with info about the fact that he lost the UK trial which the Judge already ruled would not be allowed in.
AH’s buddies are at it again.

Rewatching as I have more time now to really digest it all. It is amazing if you watch this and then immediately watch Camille's cross of Amber, such a contrast! It looks like Ms. Vasquez is much younger (thus seemingly less experienced) than Rottenborn but her skill as a trial attorney far outshines his. So happy for her making partner, she absolutely deserves it!

I have battled with drug addiction most of my adult life. luckily it didn’t start until well after I had my children ( or i never would have had them) I’ve always worked and tried to be a good person. I’ve never been violent. . I grew un unloved and abused by my mother. I was singled out among several children. To be the scapegoat. I am sure that’s why I became a user/ addict. To numb the pain. My point is, you can be an addict and be a decent person .. or. ..be stone cold sober and a psychopath. Being an addict doesn’t automatically mean you are unworthy of Belief. I’m not making a judgement here. I only mean in. General. You shouldn’t automatically lose because you have and addiction .. A MEDICAL ISSUE. IMO. Aggressive people often single out people with addiction issues as a means of control and maybe blackmail later. This is just my opinion

@💫sUNnNyy many drug abusers are sensitive caring people. They use drugs to numb their emotions. I’m not naive though. You can shut down all your feelings with certain drugs and that is dangerous.

I saw Amber egging him on in that video. She knew how to push his buttons. Granted, the guy is not well. But knowing he is intoxicated, she provoked the fight she recorded. Still, it was never shown that he hit her. She was trying to get him to hit her

@@bonniefitzgerald8375 It's definitely before his mother died. Johnny said in the UK trial he thinks the video was from some time in 2013, and Heard said it was 2016. The last time he saw Heard was at the penthouse the day his mother died, and the video is from the house on Switzer. I might still be after he'd found out about losing his money, which was late in 2012 iirc.

Amber recording him, and taking pictures during these emotional times is so disgusting. I am sure people around Johnny also recorded him, but if Amber used them against him then it no different than her recording them herself. All of this and Johnny's testimony tells us all we need to know about who she is... a nasty, soul-less POS! I can only imagine what he didn't tell us, like what she put his children through :( ! No matter to outcome of the trial, we all got to see Johnny's heart and the trauma he has suffered not only as a child, but at the hands of Amber Heard! Johnny proved he does not lie, he owns everything he has done and for that, I have the utmost respect for him! He has CLASS, she has NONE!
