When you are talking about why Elgin Baylor , & Jerry West deserve their statue’s please remember that although they did not win but one by Jerry West , they did appear in 7 finals & both were the Leading Scores in Franchise History when they retired, & I believe Elgin is still Leads the Franchise in Rebounds 🖖🏾

I am a MASSIVE LeBron fan, and I think he is legitimately the second-best basketball player to ever live. And that’s not an insult at all, it’s a huge honor. I have him ranked #2 among the THOUSANDS of NBA players who have ever played in the league
But with all that being said, I don’t think he deserves a statue in LA. It’s not a career accomplishment, it’s an accomplishment for what you did in that city. One championship with a team known for dynasties is just not enough IMO

He did bring the championship to the Lakers, I'm a die-hard Laker fan since 1975 when I followed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar from the Milwaukee Bucks, he is my all-time favorite player.

Lebron was NOT the leading factor in Miami, and he ran out when the true leader of the team started slowing down due to injury. STOP the Lebron pampering.
