The Spurs were great in the 1990s made WCF in 95 with D Robinson winning MVP and they won 60 games and lost to KD Warriors in 2017WCF the season after he retired which if Kawhi doesn’t get hurt Spurs maybe win the title people throw his team success way to much into Duncan’s all time case

His college wasn't good when he went there but he went there and they won a national championship.
