The defense is one of the worst I've seen in trial videos. I realize they don't have much to work with but this is ridiculous. There are definitely questions they could have put forth & objections not being made. It won't be fair to the victims family & friends if this is overturned on appeal for ineffective council. They will be further traumatized.
This is just a petty comment , but the female prosecutor keeps stumbling over her words and making little errors and it’s making me crazy! Her co/ counsel is so smooth it’s hard listening to her
I agree it was very annoying when she was laughing at her errors. As if none of it was serious and didn't matter . Some of her arguments against the possibility of parole were heartfelt, but the DA's presentation following hers was excellent. Right to the point.
No, but parents do need to pay closer attention to their kids and their behaviors. Letting them play video games and not asking questions who their friends are, will only make their kids disrespecting them. It’s also obvious that he was jealous of his brother. When his brother was hospitalized, the psychopath made up a story how he “fell” and “hurt himself”, so he could get his parents attention.
Until we start looking at what is different in the brain of a killer and the brain of a normal person, we'll never know if anything could have been prevented.

Then he texted his mom asking her to get soda on the way home. That was to delay her coming home, the prosecuter said, so he could move things around before she walked in.
@bonnemoms Thank you for the time and effort to make this easier to follow! Unfortunately, the female prosecutor is messing up, having to frequently correct herself or be corrected... It makes things more confusing at times. I worry that some of her errors could result in a mistrial or dismiss.
@@gennyzelis2303 regardless, showing the video did not have a clear purpose or intent established by the prosecution. It would still appear to be the last known recording of her alive. 🥺
The defense team is awful! They don’t even cross examine the state’s witnesses?!? I know they don’t have much to work with, but neither did OJ’s attorneys. I’ve seen lots of cases where the evidence is stacked against a defendant, and the defense usually puts forth a small amount of effort. Not these defense attorneys.
He definitely needed a better defense council though- I now completely see the importance of an effective defense council- as annoying as they are, and seems like they’re morally corrupt.. An effective defense council that paints doubt in every area- keeps the accused and convicted from being able to call a mistrial… or successfully appeal.
I agree, many of their objections were pointless and achieved nothing, whereas obvious problems were not objected. However, it seems that his new attorney believes there is nothing to appeal, and described it as "pointless". No wiggle room at all. Fortunately.
wisconsin for real needs the death penalty…. like what in the what- what?! so many murders be happening here- that are beyond atrocious. Death penalty wouldn’t have been a question here… or at least shouldn’t of been. Then again you never know with what just happened in the Florida trial of Parkland.
Maybe the defense attorney's plan was to give Chandler a great reason for appeals later on down the line for really bad counsil. I understand they have nothing to use for his case but at least appear interested I guess.
He had no defence, because there was no defence. They had video evidence of everyone who came and went during the whole time, and no-one else was there at the relevant times except him. Plus, he told so many ridiculous lies, many unnecessary.

As a matter of fact if you have children in the car or if you’re elderly you can press the attendant button at the pump and they’ll come out and pump your gas along with whatever you need in the store. It all stems around a young mother years ago that ran in the store left her boy in the car it was freezing temperatures outside and some guy jumped in the car. When the mother saw from inside she ran out, while trying to get her son out of the backseat the guy continued driving at a high speed and her son who was caught in the seatbelt and was dragged to death. Chandler doesn’t capitalize Cat’s name in the text, to me that’s disrespectful when you do that, especially if it’s your girlfriend and you’re referring to her to someone who hasn’t met her yet. Notice the co-worker does capitalize names when referring to other people in the texts. I know texts are informal and you don’t have to have perfect grammar and some people have disabilities but capitalizing names shows respect period. Cat is young she can definitely do so much better. These type of men use their families to create a bond with their partners, knowing they have kind and caring hearts, that even if they second guess them, they’re so attached to the family they’ll stay. You can tell Cat was very close to his parents and they loved her and treated her with respect. The defense is one of the worst I've seen in trial videos. I realize they don't have much to work with but this is ridiculous. There are definitely questions they could have put forth & objections not being made. It won't be fair to the victims family & friends if this is overturned on appeal for ineffective council. They will be further traumatized.

No, but parents do need to pay closer attention to their kids and their behaviors. Letting them play video games and not asking questions who their friends are, will only make their kids disrespecting them. It’s also obvious that he was jealous of his brother. The video they play at the 13/14min spot is then establishing the last known living sighting of the mother victim. I've seen a number of people asking. Hope this helps!
I took it as them wanting to show what she got for her lunch break. It was only at one something wasn't it? I thought she didn't get off work til at least 4. He killed dad at between 10 til 2-3pm.

The judge is great . I love his bow tie and lil curly q hair style
The death penalty is immoral and costs more than keeping someone in prison for life

Yes. Ironically, if was Chandler's gf's mother's gf who actually owned the farm he planted the gun and left his father's torso at.
Yup!
Yes, it was Dulce's fiancé, Cres, who was suspicious of his actions and called in the law..
this female defense attorney is making a lot of mistakes with people and evidence. WHY?
She wants a mistrial not happening or do a lousy job for a new trial due to terrible defense given
Didn't work, though, did it ?
Maybe the defense attorney's plan was to give Chandler a great reason for appeals later on down the line for really bad counsil. I understand they have nothing to use for his case but at least appear interested I guess.
He had no defence, because there was no defence. They had video evidence of everyone who came and went during the whole time, and no-one else was there at the relevant times except him. Plus, he told so many ridiculous lies, many unnecessary.

I’m in Ks and we hv them all over one of the best convenient stores around. We also have 7/11 but they aren’t nearly as clean, quick, or friendly as Quick trips are. It was awful !!

Realizing that the person you built so many dreams with, it was all fake is eye opening, but it’s experienced gained. All of the victims’ loved ones will hold onto the fond memories.

No, I think they were just demonstrating the last time there was evidence of her alive, but obviously, she'd be in work in the afternoon. Her car was seen on the neighbour's video arriving home after 5pm, and seen going out a couple of hours later when Chandler went shopping.
Simple. More recently, many are jealous of their parents success in life and hardworking habits. There is nothing the parents can do about it.
Somebody earlier said: If you give people too much they will hate you, or something like that.
@Chico Ben I don't know anybody who is jealous of their parent's success. My father was a very successful businessman, who loved his wife and kids. My mother did a lot of work raising money for local charities for children with special needs. We all loved getting involved. Chandlers parents had worked hard. They inherited her parents home and built a new house beside it. Successful parents set a great example for their children. My daughter is determined to become be a success in her chosen field, just as I am.
@@elizabethgrogan8553 I thought the neighbor sold them the house and then built a house next to them. Also, no one is saying everyone is jealous of their parents. Some are jealous in the sense that they don’t feel like sacrificing and working hard, making their own path. They just want to have all the fruits of their parents success on demand.

I believe he shot his parents with the gun his friend gave him. Then he dismembered the bodies. He could easily do this alone. Look at Joe Guy Jr. case.
