Your hair is wavy! That is right, that's why it got really frizzy, because curly hair has to be treated a certain way+ not brushed while its dry, otherwise it goes frizzy

I'm about to try the curly girl method because my hair is a lot like yours, and today I got out of the shower and didn't brush it AND I GOT A RINGLET!!! I didn't even scrunch!!! I also got a SUPER wavy/curly strand and my friend was like "that's natural?!?" I was very happy and now I'm so excited to try for real.

I use these hair ties that have rubber on them, they pull a bit but I can do high ponytails and pigtails really easy, best thing that they were $2

There are other ways to get your hair curly without that method. I personally didn’t like it

Ok, so the hair by the nape of my neck the last few years has been damaged and dryad unruly, and I could never figure out why. My best friend tells me one day, “Oh ya, my hair stylist said it’s due to wearing pony-tail bands, so now I use these plastic squiggly things.” So I switched to wearing scrunchies and I’m LOVING. IT. Just wanted to let you know cause we are having the same hair issues and your videos have helped my hair be healthier💖

Our hair is literally identical!! I've never seen someone with hair like mine that isn't super ringlety but also not straight. You look so cute!
Try making flax seed gel. Super easy, holds good, great for scruncing and creating a curl cast. Super light but holds amazing. And it's good for your hair!!!
I wish I could show you a video of how I put up my hair in a ponytail that doesn't give me a headache. I also use it for my loose buns for my protective nighttime hairstyle.
I basically leave the front and back sections loose and tie up the middle first. Then the back and front combine into the middle and loosely twist into a bun. Honestly saves my hair from kinks entirely.

oh my gosh i have one side that I have to put work in to get in smoothed into a pony tail. your not the only one, The curly girl method can take some time so dont give up because once everything clicks you will love your hair.

Our hair is the same! I could go wavy/curly if I wanted to, or I could go straight. I’m right in the middle. But I’ve been so used to having straight hair most of my life that I find the idea of taking on curly hair super intimidating.. though I must admit it’d probably look much better on me than straight hair. I wish I was naturally talented with hair, lord knows it’s not for lack of trying. But if I ever do decide to go curly I will definitely take everything you’ve learned to help me on that journey.

We have the same hair. Look up images of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty - Princess Aurora. When our hair type is nourished and not heat styled it turns into fluffy semi straight with curls on the ends hair just like her hair. Looks like I always curled my ends! It’s an unpopular hair type because I think our hair type is not this and not that so it seems difficult but it’s classically beautiful and feminine when well cared for!
Do you heard about cassia obovata (neutral henna) and pure henna? These are the BEST natural treatments for hair! Mine are much stronger and thicker since I start doing it 😍 I will finally get my hair long!!!
