It's really sad that you think you have to straighten or curl your hair (damn, if you do this everytime, it must be damaged as hell) to look good. Most people would think your hair looks totally fine as it is in this video.
Guess what? I dye my hair religiously...I straighten my hair and curl my hair almost every day of my life and it is in great condition according to every hairdresser I've been to.. You do know there are ways to take care of it right?! women are always trying to bring each other down It's sickening.. to each their own!!! But it's not "really sad"
Well, I'm kind of with some of the others here..if you knew you were going to do a ponytail review, and you normally style your hair for a ponytail, why didn't you style your hair first? Any way, I think your hair looks full and beautiful! You don't want it flat with no volume, do you? :)
I just received mine,, WOW love them, even tried sleeping in one.. definitely buy n already told cousin.... Don't know the longevity of product... Little $$ but those who have heavy hair like mine will try anything to help with a thick mane...
I wish you would stop criticizing your pony tail. Trust us-we don’t care. It looks cute. You are you’re own worst critic. The review wasn’t on how your ends looked after you pulled your hair up-it was on the hair tie. You looked fine. Seriously.
If you didn’t like the way your hair looked, then style as normal and then use the Pony-O. Don’t make it sound like it’s the product’s fault because Heaven forbid your hair is not perfectly styled. SMH.
If you watch the "how to" on the company's website they say NOT to split hair and pull tight. You kept doing that. Maybe you should try placing it higher on your head if you want a higher ponytail. Would love to see a video with your hair done and complete as you said you normally do. Would give better idea of product.
So I purchased one and want to share another perspective (btw - great video Miss Rylee... glad someone did this!). I agree with most of what Rylee said. I have REALLY thick hair and do quite a bit on instagram. I wanted to do some photos of my hair up in a cute 'barbie-ish' pony tail. Challenges I had with this are: With LONG THICK hair, it's REALLY difficult to feed your hair through the pony-o. They need to make a larger one. It's also difficult to keep the pony 'tight' if you want a 'snatched' pony - this is more difficult with a pony-o. However... if you use an elastic and THEN use the Pony-o OVER the elastic - you can achieve the high sleek pony we're all seeking. That's my two cents. Agree with Rylee on most of her thoughts also. Great video lovey.
Hi Felicia! We are so sorry that we are just seeing this! We have just released our new Pony-O XL and it does wonders for you girls with all the hair!! Please feel free to email us at support@ponyo.com ! Have a wonderful day!
It looked like you tried to tighten it up like a regular hair band and you are not supposed to do that with the ponyo. it loosens it; you just push it down toward your head to tighten it.
I have tried that personally so many times and tried many different ways. It doesn’t sit close enough to the top of your head to stay that tight. It takes getting used to, especially if you’re used to your ponytail feeling tight and secure, for me it felt like it was gonna fall out even though I did it just as they explain. Plus this really doesn’t stay all day, it will slip out overtime like a regular elastic too. That’s just gravity though.
@@MissRyleeJadeI bought a couple of Pony Os recently and I tried one on the other day but my hair felt like it was coming apart again I found my hair to be slippery.
I think it looked great. I also think you should watch the video on the website so you know what not to do because you kept doing what they said makes it come out.
Ffs. You didn’t style your hair like you normally would for a ponytail but then tell us that 10 times. To give an honest review you should of styled your hair like normal but instead of using a hair tie used used the pony o.
So, I got my pony-o's, and I am unimpressed, unfortunately. Either the women in the photos have thin, light hair, or something... Because my pony tail does not look snatched or nothing. It looks like any other pony tail, flat & loose. I get better grip from using the hair-ties I'm currently using. I feel like I wasted money. I feel the only way this thing could work is already make a pony tail, then use the pony-o to give the lift. But, the pony-o on its own? No.
She like to complain! About her hair nit being styled... you know you're doing a video so go style your hair and stop making our ears bleed with your SOB stories and complaining
I agree with you!!! I got mine and for my liking I did not like the way my ponytail looked. My hair felt loose and not secure. Maybe cause I don’t have a lot of hair. I’d much rather use a hair tie. Ignore anyone lashing out at you because you didn’t give this a great review. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Keep rocking girl!!!!
I like it!! I think it looks cute!! I just ordered some so hope they work for me. My hair is super long and thick so wanting to add a little more ‘oomph’ to my pony rather than it just hanging there
These comments suck. Do you guys not know what a first look/review is? Its a short review of her first times using it. She doesn't trash the product, she just makes some points on why it doesn't work incredibly for her in this video.
Not happy with this product at all. I have thick hair. It didn’t work at all well. And the company refuses to refund the shipping to return. Only will give me the cost of the pony o back. Horrible customer service. Not worth the cost and hassle.
My hair is long and this thing does not work at all. No matter how high and how tight I put it, it keeps sliding down, plus the tail never looks perky even at the beginning. The elastic bands that I found from Target do a much better job. Very disappointed
Were they a special type of bands from Target, or just regular? I also have long, thick hair and am looking for something to not give me headaches. Thanks.
@@peacemama4957 I ordered from Pony-O website, it's their product. There are dufferent cheaper versions on Amazon, Ebay but the original Pony-O claims their product is the best and durable. But it didn't work for me at all. Probably, it's ok for short and fine hair.
I actually cut my hair pretty short and it no longer really worked. But I am currently growing my hair out a bit and plan to try using it again! I think, the longer your hair the better for these!
Do you have another video where you styled your hair the way you normally would if you were going to use an elastic? Seems like that might give us a more accurate comparison and assessment of how it performs.
Thank you for the review! Ignore the negative comments about you thinking you should style your hair. I like that you didn't style it because this is a honest portray of the product's typical everyday use. Don't understand why dumbasses want you to lie to them LOL
Are these videos mandatory? If not you should've made one when you were up for it, not when you're complaining about lack of styling the entire runtime.
I have fine hair too and I think it looks really pretty and different then conventional elastics. You have to have some pratise in putting it in. It took me a few times to get it too.
I think it looks cute; she is lucky to have pretty hair. And there is nothing wrong with how it looks 'not styled'. This isn't rocket science. Good grief.
It's really sad that you think you have to straighten or curl your hair (damn, if you do this everytime, it must be damaged as hell) to look good. Most people would think your hair looks totally fine as it is in this video.
I totally agree! I style my hair on occasion not all the time! As a result my hair is really healthy!

My hair is not styled so it looks like a horse tail.
There’s a reason why that hair style is called “pony” tail...
😂😂😂
Wow sorry but seriously annoying listening to you repeatedly going on about your hair not being styled, just style it then !!
"So if I were to go for a run..." *proceeds to shake head a little, then whips it in all directions* LOL
I can’t believe you didn’t think your hair looked right. Super cute pony IMO.
If you didn’t like the way your hair looked, then style as normal and then use the Pony-O. Don’t make it sound like it’s the product’s fault because Heaven forbid your hair is not perfectly styled. SMH.
Why are you being so mean? Did you get paid by Pony-O or something?
Wow. You could have been a little nicer and she did mention that it wasn’t styled.
Sooo... Style your hair then. 😂 Lol.
Right!? It is no fault of the product that you didn't style it. Lol
Taelor Boyce I was just going to say this.... style your friggin’ hair then - is has nothing to do with the product
So I have to style my hair every time I use this useless product in order for it to work properly? Wow, makes so much sense 🤦🏻♀️

If you choose to not style your hair and give a review, then its not a true review and has no reflection on the product itself.
