If you don't mind me being a nosy nancy (: ' D), there are plenty of curly-haired people who never get shiny ringlets on "naked" (or near-naked) hair. 26 years with curly hair, there isn't anything that's going to "fix" my frizz. Absolutely nothing. It's either two hours to straighten, two hours to style curly, or two hours to throw everything into twists - because if I don't do anything, it'll frizz, tangle and break off. That's just how my genes have chosen to interact. It's the nature of the beast.
That said, frizz = damage is an unrealistic standard I had to overcome. Damaged hair is frizzy, true, but frizzy hair isn't always damaged. Damaged hair doesn't respond to creams and gels and deep conditioners. Damaged hair spoils any style faster than it should, straight or curly. Damaged hair just doesn't grow, snapping off at the ends as fast as the roots grow out. I've helped relatives with curly, over-processed hair before and oh boy. That's a struggle.
Frizzy hair CAN respond, and it CAN grow, so long as it's healthy. I don't like wearing my hair frizzy, so I choose to put the work in to make sure it dries in defined curls - cream, gel, the whole thing. But I'll never stop anyone from putting in the work to straighten it. (Can't relate, because me and my straightener are mortal enemies lol.) I just wrote this wall of text because I heard that "it looked bleach-damaged" part of the video and I just had to say something. You are doing great, your hair is doing great, and style it however you want to. Heat, no heat, whatever. If the frizz never goes away, work around it or work with it. Do what makes YOU happy. But you haven't failed if whatever you're doing hasn't eliminated your frizz. Frizz is natural too! Seriously, your hair is lovely no matter what you do with it.

@@MaryKurosawa #notanexpert of course, but chopping off the ends is usually enough if your hair is mostly healthy. The trim will need to happen eventually, but you can use products to help shore up the ends, if you don't want to lose the length immediately.
My 'experience' came from helping a relative with extensively color-treated hair - very porous, impossible to keep detangled, never seemed to stay saturated with water, and every time she trimmed off the worst of the ends, the new ends would rapidly deteriorate to the same knotted state. Olaplex 3 helped things a little bit; a repairing protein treatment helped significantly more (Botanika The Mender in this case, though Aphogee's 2-step is much more popular on UA-cam). But unless your hair is super-fried, I'd suggest looking into protein vs moisture balance for curly hair before going full protein treatment. Protein can definitely be a too-much-of-a-good-thing kind of deal.

"If I can't enjoy my hair, then what's the point?" THISSSS. I've been 'transitioning' for like a year now, and yes my hair is so much healthier, but I'm putting in so many hours of effort for a result that I don't even really like, that still looks messy and frizzy and 100% of the time ends up in a bun until the next wash day. I'm sick of feeling self conscious and not put-together every time I leave the house, purely because of my hair. If heat styling your hair makes YOU feel better about YOURSELF then DO IT GIRL!!! I've already decided I'm going to straighten my hair this weekend 😂❤️

My hair is superrrr frizzy all the time and it's super annoying. To tame the frizz, what I do is after I was my hair, I air dry (or you can blow dry) my hair, and when it's 95% dry, I brush it, then I grab some elastics and with one of them, I tie my hair into a low pony, then with the another elastic, I tie my hair again, a little lower than where the other elastic is (about 6cm)and depending on how long your hair is, keep repeating this until your last elastic is 6-7 cm away for the end of your hair. You can put the elastics as far away as you want from each other, depending on how far away from each other you Want the nice waves to be, but personally I find the 6-7 cm to be enough.
Then you want to let your hair fully dry through the night or through the day. After you take the elastics out, your hair will be frizz free, and you will have beautiful waves in your hair. Try not to brush too much or the waves will disappear. If you think it looks too flat tilt your head down and slightly move your fingers through Your roots to give some volume up top.
And that's how your hair will be frizz free for the next 1-3 days will beautiful natural looking waves ( ͡ ͜ʖ ͡ )

I was about to say the exact same thing. I have the same hair as you, the same problem. No matter what I do it's frizzy and feels dry and a bit coarse. I can coat it in whatever you want, 20min later it will be frizzy again. But I remember very clearly being in north italy one holiday, and my parents asking if I'd done something different to my hair because it was SO sleek and soft and shiny (very floppy too). It's the water. I don't know how much of a difference a shower filter will make - apparently it can? I might give it a try myself! But it's not you doing anything wrong with your hair. which, btw, looks lovely and even with the 'messy' curl pattern it looks beautiful.

As someone with naturally frizzy / wavy / a mess / hair type, using heat to style my hair gives me relief from trying to make it naturally look ok ish. Some days I wake up & it looks ok, others it looks horrendous, like I've been bleaching it for years... & on those days, using heat to style it actually gives me confidence that no, my hair can look fab! & enables me to achieve styles naturally I just couldn't. I don't do it all the time, but I definitely think using heat on occassion is so worth it :) lots o love, congrats on the move! x

So before saying something I would tell you I m not some kinda hair specialist but yeah I have been through it so I know. Right now my hair is long and and very healthy, shiny and actually something like your goal. My hair type is wavy so I have my own hair product and all but some tips I would like to give you is that wasting your money on so many brushes, customised hair products what you should do is firstly find the best shampoo and all for your hair type and the most important don’t use any kind heat on your hairs like I really don’t remember when i used some kind of blow dry and something ( I know you want straight hair but follow your natural flow of hair)and continue your trimming process but not each day because you have to let it grow.I understand your frustation but don’t loose hope and ya don’t focus on hair length but on healthy hair. By this method I wish your hair have some improvements

I do a routine that’s “curly girl inspired” rather than full CGM for my 2C-3A type hair. It seems to work better for me, I enjoy my hair more, plus it’s A LOT less stressful. I mostly wash with sulfate free and silicone free products and use a good mask twice a week. Then a silicone free leave-in plus a gel in my hair. I scrunch and see how it turns out, and then I might correct a few pieces with a curling wand 🤷🏻‍♀️ on non-wash days, I will sometimes lightly brush through it with a wide toothed comb and (gasp!) add a standard silicone hair oil to smooth it down and keep it shiny! And I’ll continue to use a curling wand on any pieces I don’t like until I wash it again. I also colour my hair. And you know what? I’m totally fine.

Hi! As someone who struggled with eating disorders for ages, I feel like there is something I can tell you that I wish I was told in my darkest days. First of all, the more you stress about something, the more you focus on making it better, or fixing it or whatever, the less control you'll have over it. And trust me I know how frustrating this can get. I know, I see your struggle and I see how bad this make (or made) you feel. But I've learnt that if you let go just a little bit, if you stress a bit less over it, IT WILL GET BETTER, both because your hair will find its own way (idk if this makes sense but I hope you get what I'm trying to say) and because your overall stress level will drop and this, trust me, really REALLY makes the difference.
Second of all, I want you to know that, even though you don't like your hair, and maybe all that you can think about when you look at your reflection in the mirror is how bad your hair looks and you feel like you want to hide, or maybe you think that other people will notice it, trust me, other people won't notice it. You're such a beautiful girl and yeah your hair might be a bit messy from time to time but you're not your hair. People will look at you and what they will see is a beautiful girl. Nothing more and nothing less than that. Trust me. Everyone has insecurities, but they don't define us at all.
Hope that what I just said can help you in some way.
Lots of love and I wish you'll be soon able to see how gorgeous you are❤

“It’s just an illusion... my hair just looks like this because of all the stuff I do to it”. I know what you mean, I’ve had similar thoughts, but actually, when you think about it, almost everyone’s hair falls into that category... few people have hair that looks great even when they don’t use some sort of product and style it. My hair, when left to air dry with no product on it at all, is a frizzy, shapeless, mess. But if I get layers cut into it, add gel and style it, it’s curly and bouncy. I have said this before, but I suspect your hair would be much wavier/curlier if you 100% treated it like curly hair.. but you’ve only gone half way on that journey unless you get a curly cut. Of course the choice is yours, but frizz doesn’t = fail or damaged hair.... it = genes...

Watching your hair journey is like watching a problematic teenage movie with a lot of ups and downs which ended with self acceptance and self love.
I've started doing curly hair method cz i was influenced by yours video but I do agree with you that obsessively doing it will make you lose your self confidence cz it seems like our hair has its mind on its own. Sometimes our hair look really good but another time it looks really bad.
I'm so proud of you for deciding to use heat on your hair again cz really, you've done all these but if you're not happy with the result then what's the point? We only live once, we should try or do things without being too paranoid of damaging ourselves.
I also think one day when we got older we will regret for playing too safe with our life and not exploring more.
Thank you so much for sharing your journey. It helps me to see this from different point of view and i really appreciate it.

My hair is exactly like yours in every aspect and the curly girl method did NOT work for me either. Even though I did benefit from staying away from some harsh chemicals, nothing more about the curly girl method has benefited me in any way. It was tiring, time consuming, expensive and in the end I didn't like how I looked with curlier hair so I quit. Yes, I'm still careful towards what I put on my hair but that's about all I'm taking from the curly girl method as it doesn't suit me, the weather I live in or my life style.
(Edit): Just one more piece of information, I moved throughout the years from a very dry weather to a very humid weather which caused my hair to go from no frizz to 90% frizzy. I realised later on that no matter what I can't defy the weather with products or the curly girl method. Yes, products are going to make my hair look a bit better but there's absolutely no escaping the frizz which was one more reason to quit the curly girl method.
I think that the best way to combat frizz is to have a keratin perm if one's hair is thin and fine, and to have a Japanese perm if one's hair is thick and coarse.

There's no point in spending hours supposedly taking care of dead cells if at the end of the day you don't like the result. I tried to use my hair naturally, but I didn't get used to the frizz (I used to have straight/thick hair). I've been using the flat iron again, kept taking care as I usually do, and I must say, my hair looks healthier than ever.
I take thin strands and pass the flat iron only once and meticulously to avoid frizz. I went over 1 year without using flat iron on my hair and blow drying in the warm / cold air and my hair continued to tangle easily and grow with frizz ... life is too short, use your hair as you WANT and LIKE. I used the flat iron for 10 years or more and I never had any heat damage.

YES acceptance is so important, and acceptance includes being okay with doing what you want with your hair! I have chaotic wavy, curly, semi-straight, fluffy hair and it suits my "unpolished" aesthetic, but having the option to look sleek and put together is so so nice! I'm dealing with issues of unhealthy hair, products to fix the issues which just make new issues, and feeling like what even is the point of all this effort if my hair is still damaged? But it's the act of taking care of my hair that's important, not having perfect results. Appreciate all your videos, especially recently!

The curly girl method was quite frustrating when I first started and still is somewhat. I have 3c hair on the back and under neath my hair, 2b on the sides and 2a on the top layer. I am now in almost 4 months and I have learned a couple of things.
My hair does not like gel. It will look good for one day and one day only. The rest of the days my hair is dry, crispy and super tangled. I have tried everything from oils to leave in on the days following day one hair. It just turns into a stringy mess and then I have to spend days just looking bad until the next wash day. I no longer use gel. Instead I use a tiny amount of leave in and then a curl cream when it is soaking wet in the shower. My hair does not get tangled very much anymore and it is so soft and shiny. The “curls” are looser but it looks like it has full body and not frizzy.
My hair does not like pure oils. It will get super stringy even if I use only a single drop! For my wavy hair oils have to be combined in a the format of a conditioning alcohol like the ones in conditioners or leave ins. Briogeo makes a hair oil that has those in it and is silicone free. Perfect for scrunching out the tiny cast from the curl cream. But I only use two drops- one at a time.
My hair does not like to be turned upside down in a silk scarf to sleep on. The tangled the next day are horrible! I wrap my hair right side up. I place the silk scarf under my hair lying on my shoulders. I take two adjacent corners and ty them on top of my head just behind my bang area. Then pull the other corners straight up nestling my hair close to my head. Twist the top about 2 to 3 times, cross the corners and tie underneath it all on the back of my neck. I then pull the “bangs” out and wrap around the outer part of the tie of the scarf. In the morning, I do not have to let my hair settle and have vey little tangles. I am able to finger comb my hair, gently mist with water, apply a drop of the briogeo hair oil, and go!
With this routine, my hair looks nice for four days. My favorite leave in and cream is from the Andalou moisture line (orange bottles). All of the products that are specifically made for curly hair does not seem to work for my crazy wavy hair.
By the way, I love that you have posted all of these videos for the CGM. They have been quite helpful for my own journey. You are an absolutely lovely person. I wish you all the best in finding your hair routine - curly girl method or not.

I have wavy/curly hair and I straighten it once every 15 days to "reconstruct" it, and as you said there's nothing wrong about it. I don't properly follow the curly girl method since my shampoos have sulfates, however, this works for me (does it work for everyone? probably not, I do a low-poo routine instead of a no-poo) as well as doing a pre-shampoo treatment (quick explanation: you could use like a cheap hair mask combined with some kind natural oil if you want, you apply it on the length of your hair and leave it from 30min to like 2hours. Then when you wash your hair the damage of the shampoo will be reduced).
Also doing a "hair chronogram" has helped me a lot, so every time I wash my hair I either moisturize it (adding water to your hair) or apply a nutrition mask (add oil to your hair, which is usually related to frizz and split-ends) or a reconstruction one (related to keratin and proteins to restore your hair mass, this can be done like once every 15 or 20 days)
Idk if exists this kind of hair masks or at least videos about it in English, but there's a lot of content of it in Portuguese and many products here in brazil as well.

I know little no no people who have AMAZING hair with zero styling/products in it, just washing, and all natural... Like, why are you so scared of heat styling if it makes your hair look the way you like it? Why are you afraid of coloring it?? Why is any styling that puts some strain, even curlers on damp hair, seen as really bad and damaging? Relax and don't think about it too much.
*Edit* I also think hair is a matter of genetics. Yes haircare does matter, yeah some things can improve our hair (food, some vitamins not all of them) but it is what it is. I have a blonde balayage and my hair is soft, I'm using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and the Briogeo don't despair repair hair mask, along with an organic cone free hair oil. For now this routine works but I wished my hair was thicker and for that I should eat better and take blood tests. The things we do and use externally are important yes but not that important cause it's a combination of genetics and health condition.

This is almost exactly what my hair journey has been like. I have thicker hair, but it has always been insanely frizzy and poofy, despite my scalp being a ball of grease. I tried the curly girl method for months, to pretty much no avail. My hair looked almost exactly like yours throughout my time doing the method. Recently I've switched up my products (again) to ones more tailored to my hair type (sulfate free and not), I've started using more heat and brushes, and have started brushing my hair daily. Personally, this has made a world of difference. My hair is much less frizzy (it is still there, just not as prevalent), my oils are better distributed throughout my hair, and it looks and feels much more soft and shiny rather than course and dry at the ends, and greasy towards the scalp. Essentially, the things that everyone told me were bad for my hair ended up being the exact things that made my hair better. I think that natural products are still good for certain things, but I feel like haircare is similar to skincare in the way that not everything that is natural is the best for you. Sometimes, you need chemicals in order to get the most effective washes and to get everything to look and feel the way you want it. There should never be any shame in that. Suffering over the way your hair looks just isn't worth it, and everyone should be able to do what makes them and their hair look and feel good, regardless of what others may think of you for it.

I thought that after 7 months and who knows how many products bought that my hair would look incredible, but instead its way frizzier, drier and messier curls than I had back in high school when the heat styling was no doubt damaging it. I also have an oily scalp with psoriasis which doesnt help AT ALL..So lately, like you, i've decided that i really just want to enjoy my hair, that its kind of stupid for my self-esteem to be so affected by this obsession to try to make my natural hair perfect when considering my family's hair..it just wont ever be. So firstly I started using sulfate shampoos again sometimes (the no-sulfate ones helped the curls look nice but did not help my scalp at all), I stopped scrunching (just creates a bird nest on top) and I gave up on most of those less frizz tricks (upside down wash/style, microfiber towel, colder water, curl cream when its more wet than dry, etc etc etc). Doing this, my hair looks practically the same as it did 3 months ago when i was being strictest with the CGM, lmao. My next things to try will be getting a big cut (my hair grows incredibly fast so I might as well try), trying more scalp masks (its clearly more problematic than the rest of my hair and probably affects it) and incorporating some heat styling back into my routine! we each know our hair best so we should just do whatever we want to be happy with it!

I agree totally. But you can be Latina and white. Latina is an ethnicity

@@calebdecamp2427 I'm fully aware! In my case, like many other latinas, im a racial mix that usually leads to me (and other mixed latinas) as being perceived and treated as non-white. That definitely applied to my experience with my hair growing up, my hair was seen as being 'unruly' and 'messy' compared to 'white' hair. But yes i know that tho many latinas have experienced what I did, not all do, since many do have that 'white' hair and are white/are perceived as white

I've been watching you since your hair journey started. And I never had anyone to relate so much. My hair just suddenly changed went frizzy, dry and different all over, started breaking off.
So I've hoped that you going find the answer for me as you are trying everything there is.
    And I've also tried everything.
And few months back I was so disgusted with my hair and died it slightly dark with demi permanent hair dye.
I was scared because I thought my hair won't suit me, but not only my hair looks fine...the texture..it just improved and my hair is growing non stop.
    P.s.
My hair was mostly virgin, with slight highlights done once by a professional hairdresser. NO EXTREME damage

Dear Isabella, thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! I’ve been following you from the beginning of your journey since I have exactly the same type of hair as yours. Frizzy, puffy and fried looking even though I don’t do anything damaging to it. I’ve been dying it blonde for a couple of years 10y ago and I’ve always thought I destroyed the root of my hair and that was the reason my hair is this way. I’m honestly relived to learn that might not be the case at all! I came to the same conclusion about the CGM as you now. I was so excited when I started doing the CGM but I’ve soon realized that it’s too tiring, frustrating, expensive and time consuming and I felt such a RELIEF after I finally washed my hair with a “bad” shampoo, blow dried it and applied a silicon hair oil. My hair was soo silky, smooth, shiny and beautiful 😌 If it can’t look nice when I’m trying so hard to keep it healthy and it actually looks wayyy healthier when I apply products that are supposed to be bad for it then I might as well just do that 😄

This is my take but I don't think the curly girl method works for most people, including me. What I found and got told by a curly hair dresser is that the recipe for nice curls is to keep it simple and not to OVER CONDITION because if your curls are too soft, the curls will not hold. I've got the best hair (with the least amount of time effort) by just washing my hair with a SULFATE shampoo, putting leave-in conditioner in and brushing it whilst wet. Then I put in quite a lot of strong-hold mousse and brush it using tension with the denman brush whilst its very wet, then I scrunch it with a microfibre towel. Then diffuse. Done.
And keep in mind, curly hair is not actually made to be as shiny as straight hair, the light will never reflect the same on curls as it does on straight hair, despite it being healthy. Every curly girl has frizz and I just started embracing the "wildness" of my hair and I love it. I wish you all the best, don't put too much pressure on yourself, find what's best for you! :) Love, a curly friend.

Girl I have had the same hair that looks bleach damaged for years. When it was virgin blonde untouched and unheard styled, when it was dyed red and when it was actually bleach dyed, it looked the same. What I’ve discovered is my hair looks luscious shiney and best when I dry it with a dryer. Air drying it looks damaged and I get a matted greasy bit of hair right in the back every time I air dry too. With a hair dryer tho? it looks silky smooth and actually healthy. Heat styling gets rid of my frizz and styling products keep the frizz away.

I have been following your journey with a lot of hope, because my hair is very similar to yours.
An advice to get rid of the frizz and save lots of time “styling”: at home Brazilian or keratin straightening treatments. It got rid of all my frizz (yes, now my hair is straight, instead of wavy) but it looks SO healthy! So smooth and shiny. Before trying the first time, I was about to cut my hair very short because it felt so damaged, then I tried this as a last resort and it brought my hair back to life. I would give it a try!

Listen, this is just my experience i cannot guarantee it but I really encourage you to give it a shot.
Its been almost a year since shampoo had touched my head. No I'm not stinky I swear! I just use conditioner. Let me explain why.
About 2 years ago I noticed a patch of hair that was textured and frizzy no matter what. It was worth about a fourth of my hair so it was noticeable. I aggressively attacked it with heat and it worked until I went outside into the humid climate.
Yada Yada I tried alot of things then this caught my eye. I always thought my hair was dry so maybe it would work.
After a few months the change REALLY set in. Though you have to be diligent on scrubbing your scalp with your fingertips and using enough conditioner. Slowly but surely my hair started to regain the 2c waves i had as a child before all the dying and damaging things I did to it. I decided to nourish the curls and those textures pieces were the curliest!
Even when I don't have time to form them my hair still looks healthy and shiny.
For the exact products I used the aussie brand because they were accessible, cheap, and for curly hair. The oil, leave in conditioner, conditioner, deep conditioner for the ends, and gel are all from aussie
Tip if your scalp flakes it might be too dry so try using deep conditioner on your scalp too!
    Thanks for reading!

My coarse hair hated the Shea moisture line .... my hair really doesn’t like coconut which a lot of CG products have, my hair is much softer using non coconut products ...... I don’t follow the C G method as I need to use shampoo to tame the frizz, you can healthy hair without using silicones etc .... hope you find what is best for you xxx

Thank you for this. I have the exact same hair type and no one understands how difficult it is to make it look nice. Like you, my healthiest state looks like a frizzy mess. I eat healthily, I don't dye my hair, I spent so much money on curly girl products but nothing changes it permanently. What you said resonated with me because I always dreamed of having shiny and voluminous hair and I've been searching, experimenting, and asking hair care professionals but no one has the answer! It so frustrating, because we do everything right but nothing deems results! Thank you for posting your vids. It's comforting to know other people go through it too.

I feel you. So. Much. I've had the exact same experience with curly girl. I still sometimes use flax seed gel but more as a mask than anything. As a kid I had proper hobbit-hair, then it suddenly turned straight, in middle school I had waves and ringlets and now it's a bit straighter again.
My hair has been a hot mess my entire life, it's so dry and frizzy. I used to always have this halo of frizz around my head (combined with my Jesus-haircut that was a look). Two years ago I chopped it all off, and my new hair grew back so much better! For the first time in years I was happy with my hair! But then as it grew, the frizz started to return, and it was so damn frustrating. Lately the thing that has helped my hair the most has been switching to wooden combs and a boar bristle hair brush. Apparently they're supposed to better distribute your own natural oils in the hair and cause less static. I add a couple drops of hair oil every night to my ends and sleep with my hair tied up in a loose bun so I won't lie on it. Also at home I always make it a point to keep my hair as free as it can bee, and if I put it up I do braids to cause the least amount of damage possibe! Most of the time I let my hair get really oily before washing it, maybe once in a week and a half. Something good about the 'rona there, less need to look presentable, lol. Winter is coming, so we'll see how my hair reacts to it this year, yikes.
One thing I would love to try is singeing my hair! I've heard really good things about it, though I haven't cathered up the courage to try it for myself yet.

I just found out that my hair needs protein and I thought it was just my hair being frizzy. It takes time to figure things out. You CAN fix the frizz there's always a way to fix your hair. There's no curly girl that I know that follows all the rules of the curly girl method and you don't need to. Try a clarifying shampoo because you might have buildup from all the gel you use. You truly don't need much, the curling cream helps defines your hair and if any curly girl doesn't use it, their hair looks completely different. Try is and do more research. Make sure you use a hair mask and condition your hair for a few minutes at least.

I feel like we been on this journey together. As soon I leave the house - British weather does its thing, and magically puffs out any hairstyle I have had! pure magic! Frizzz everywhere! Since I discovered you back in March! I started my hair journey. Did I start to question, maybe my hair is just not straight? and since then, I did discover my hair actually is wavy - and I love it! I did change my routine, no heat, no sulfated etc! - been such an improvement! I am trying to grow my hair, and been doing an upside-down method which does require to comb your hair - but I have a sea salt base beatch wave spray (INNERSENSE) - that I distillate heavily with water - few sprays and a good crunch - and waves are back! So a big thanks! :)your videos had been a blessing!

I’ve been following your journey from the beginning. I remember smacking my hands on my desk to your last video pre CGM where I screamed into the void “SIS YOUR HAIR IS CURLY!!!”. I appreciate that you really dedicated yourself to this journey and listened to us and what we had to suggest. You absolutely do not need to apologize or tell us that you want to stop. I respect that you gave this a solid go and that you are free to do as you wish with your own head.
On a personal note: my hair is coarse and very dry. My curls absolutely cannot exist without loads of creme and gel to hold it all together and moisturize it. My natural naked hair is just not going to be perfect shiny soft ringlets because that’s not how my hair is. I learned how to work with my hair and I am at the point in my life where I like the look my curls achieve and prefer it to a straightens look. But that is ME! You are the owner of your body and you are more than welcome to style how YOU like. :)

I think mousse would be better gel might be too harsh on waves and might make it look crunchy and also weigh it down after mousse brush your hair to distribute it and then scrunch with your hands or a soft towel then try diffusing in many ways parting the hair mostly downwards and from the side use a serum when its mostly dry and save the shape of the hair lastly by diffusing in the cold setting (might not work on everyone also dont use too much product and use a lighter conditioner)
