- In todays video i get a new key coded for the Kia Rio i bought from auction with no keys, fingers crossed she runs fine and theres no issues!!!!

I've never once even looked at a kia, but this looks a fab, comfy car. Hope it goes to someone who will continue to look after it as previous owner.

I have the 1.4 petrol 3 door. The 3 doors are pretty rare I think, never seen another in silver out and about. It’s a great drive, comfortable for nipping around town, and also great on the longer drives too.

No it looks the same in reality as well haha, depends on the angle you look at it. I dont think its been painted because the finish is the same quality all over the car. I think its just down to cheap kia paint and the difference between plastic and metal....
Kia bumpers always look off, neighbour has just got brand new Sportage and that's jst the same. Looks a couple of shades out.

Looking at the wear on the front near side that damage must have been driven on for a while to kill the tyre.
Did you get the key cut for the Kia or buy it from the dealer and just get a mobile guy to code it. curious as to the process

Rear bumper seems to have been painted. I had one in white and silver both of them had a better match. Might just be the camera though

Find that on a lot of cars unfortunatly. Especially lower end stuff with little to no undertrays.
have read previous comments about rear bumper,if they are true I would certainly not spend money on a new car that had that much difference in colour of body panels
If you find the reverse light plug on the gear box and put a live to the white whire it will short the deadlock and you can open the car, I learnt this from an aa man when I locked the keys in my boot.

Might be a well looked after car but the front left wing is a different colour from the door and the rear bumper is miles off. When you were under the car it looked like the rear engine mount had been replaced add it had white writing on it?
Agree though that it looks a great car with plenty of life in it.
Silver is a bugger for looking different shades due to angle, the wing is the same colour but i agree the rear bumper looks a mile off in certain angles. I think that's down to kia not putting a lot of paint on there cars? I've noticed it a lot on them...

How does the locksmith get the code and key pattern? Does he contact the dealer and show the V5?
Direct from Kia yes, don't know what he has to prove to get it though.
4 mins in mate. I worried about that front bumper to o/s wing damage. To do that to the wing the bumper would have damaged.
There is a slight scuff on the bumper, suppose it depends on what angle they where sliding after clobbering the nearside wheel.

Yes nice little car , but i think you may find out that , your rio 3 , is more like to be the third generation , as they came out , in 1999 .... but yes could be a quick turnover ...
why there is that locking wheel nut or whatever it's called in the UK? no such thing in rest of europe, at least i havent seen anything like it in eu countries
Alloy wheel theft used to be prolific in the UK - now they just take the whole car instead lol.
@@3george136 ty for the insight. didn't know it's for anti-theft of the alloy wheels. I've bought and owned several cars in europe, none of them had that special wheel lug. now i know
Why anyone would steal a Kia Rio I don't know. Still fairly expensive even at that age. Chance Kia in Chester or Liverpool might have serviced it. Warranty expired only this year too.
