I notice you used two chains fir front and back. I have a 15, 000 lbs reel single on my truck. My first time transporting it. Should I use two or three chains to secure it?

I've worked up in Prudhoe Bay Alaska for 26 years from '94 thru '2020 and all I can say is the money is good, it sucks being away from home for long periods of time, expect the worst to happen if you're married, If you don't like the cold it's not for you it get's -50* up there and if you're working outside it's not a cakewalk. And save your pennies because nothing's guaranteed up there, I've seen people quit their permanent town jobs to go to work up there one day and get laidoff the next (seriously ! ) Good luck✌

I need two minutes alone in a closet with the engineer who designed those coolant hose quick connectors to the def tank. Because regular hose clamps didn't work for decades.

Could be problems for a new driver as you could really take 8 hours at a truck stop , drive 5hour to shipper , stay there for 7,8 hours awake and still legally drive way after that originally 14 was up I guess there is no law against common sense 😞

Back when I started the 2 , 3 or whatever after the 2 hour break was done the 14 started back only the 2 hour counted, but I guess the good old boys at dot, Realized that they were Forcing drivers to drive as soon as the 2 hours were over

I have always calculated between the breaks then subtract from the full clock, I read the dot book but was confused untill a driver showed me on paper log when I first started driving. Dot book makes it confusing I guess because I couldn't see it

Interesting. I load reels on flatbeds every day, and we do it a little differently. Twelve 90" reels a flatbed is our normal shipment. There's one guy at the back sighting while another loads them. We nail wooden chokes on each sides of the reels and the only time we use 4x4 is for single reels. Cool video!

Always try cleaning that thing first and then regen. Did that o a Freightliner yesterday. Performance was definitely low but it would be with how caked up it was.
