Fish tacos are my fav. The best ones I EVER had were from a food truck about 10 years ago. That truck was so ricketty and run down, but the fish tacos...out of this world!!!!

Yay, San Diego!! I had my first ever eggs Benedict at Hob Nob Hill, in maybe, 1980? They didn't have the mural then. Food trucks weren't a thing when I was there, but I'd sure go out of my way to have some of those fish tacos! They looked fantastic! You just can't beat the weather there, about 90% of the time. I hope you had a great time in my heart city. 💖
We did MsKestrela! We were so lucky we were staying with friends so we got to experience the city through their eyes. So neat we’ve now eaten in the same restaurant 😍 I would have loved to have seen what the original diner looked like- everyone says it had a lot of atmosphere. Omg those fish tacos- DELICIOUS! @@ChasingaPlate Beer batter is an excellent idea. I decided to go with cornflour - egg - cornflour - frying pan to keep it light , with lemon juice and fresh ground black pepper. Was so hungry I didn't film lol. Hope baby , you and Thomas are all great.

I love your love of American diners. I never realized it was such an American thing. I spent my high school years in diners after football games or rehearsals at 11pm or just a Friday night at 1am with friends eating a bunch appetizers or a full on breakfast.

So cool guys - looks like amazing eats! Interesting observation about being pregnant and eating lots of different food - I've found my baby has taken to spicy food from 8 months (he's now coming up 1 year) quite easily and enjoys it and I ate a good amount of spicy food when pregnant :) He's all about that deliciousness and doesn't like the bland baby food haha

If you go on a diet to lose weight, and stop eating McDonalds, does that mean all of a sudden you don’t like the taste of McDonalds? 🤔 Nah. Vegans are vegan for many different reasons- health, the environment, disapproval of the meat industry, etc. Some vegans are disgusted by eating animal products and wouldn’t even think of touching an imitation meat, and that’s fine… but for the majority, it’s ethical reasons and it doesn’t mean all of a sudden they don’t like the taste of certain foods from animals. You can like a food but be against unethical torture. You can’t control what food you like 🤷♂️ But if someone is choosing a diet free from killing, then honestly, it’s their business and not really for you to understand if you don’t want to make the effort. I’m not a vegan but I know many.
