I was there. The best and the worst memory of it was when they played The Frayed ends of sanity. I loved it and the crowd you see here loved it...
The 3000-5000 that was standing closer to the stage then me enjoyed it, not so sure about the 45 000 - 50 000 people behind me though 😏 It loooked and sounded like they didnt had a clue what song it was...
They woke up at the end of the song though! 1:10:28 Hope they at least learned why fans is often singing that part at Metallica shows 👍
Edit: If someone has another experience from the same show I wont argue that... It might depend on where you where standing etc. But where I was standing people behind me wasnt into this song at all. I have seen more support on St. Anger songs 😂

I was second row and this was one of the best Metallica shows of my life. I'm the guy on the big screen in the sun glasses shouting "I was born for dyiiiiiiiiiiiing" during "Disposable Heroes" ❤️ I heard people saying how dull the show (or crowd) was afterwards, but I didn't understand how that could be your take on such an amazing show.

Well it was a great show overall. (But I think 2019 was even better.) The crowd wasnt bad closer to the stage… Closer = A crowd of maybe 3000 - 5000 people.
It was only on The Frayed Ends of sanity I thought the crowd behind me seemed more bored then usual.
But when I see this video you wouldnt even notice this maybe a little closer to the stage. And it wasnt Metallicas fault either way.

@@JohnnyRockG I was front row for that one, got the "Frantic" package to not end up second row again. Also a great show, we were right in front of James and Lars when they brought the extra drumkit out from below the Snakepit ramp. Awesome experience. There's a video of "For Whom the Bell Tolls" on the channel. Can't afford that for next summer, so I ended up getting a seated ticket instead.
