I love the huracan, I have nothing against it but I would also take the porsche 911 turbo s because in my opinion it has a better launch control system and it is AWD and it is a German car.
Own a Evo Spyder and it can be used as a daily driver when the car's drive mode is in strada (street) the exhaust isnt loud at all also with the suspension lift going in and out of driveways isnt the head ache having an exotic use to be.

Watching the Huracan seals the deal for me, that this type of car has to be preserved, savoured, and experienced as we move into the EV era. Only the RWD cars stand a chance of improving their 1/4 times by quite a margin on a prepped surface like a dragstrip over public roads or runway like the one that Carwow uses.

Does the turbo s have the chrono package? If not that might explain why it doesn’t run 10.1-10.2 like we all have seen on multiple videos. If it does have the chrono is it being engaged on every run?

I love stock vs stock races. Once you modify, anything goes. Hard to even trust what they say. But stock vs stock, nice clean race, just a level playing field. When they otherwise say it only has "this or that" I don't even know what the repercussions are. Is the warranty void? Is the resale value hit? Is it reliable? What did it cost including install? Etc. Raises so many questions.
Not really, though. The Evo has very little room to make great improvements until you add FI, whereas the Porsche can do multiple things for relatively cheap: tune, downpipe, exhaust. You really can't compare a $30-40k FI upgrade to spending a few thousand on a DP and a tune. It's part of car shopping: knowing what your future goals are and how much extra power can be had for a reasonable price and without greatly affecting reliability. It just sounds like you have very little experience working on cars, because if you did, all your repercussions would be answered and you wouldn't be stating things like "anything goes."

After the initial launch, both cars seem more less neck and neck with the Lambo creeping up near the top end. For this reason sure, you'll get pumped by the Turbo at lights or at the strip but if you meet on the highway, I reckon the EVO wins.
yep, Flordia's climate isn't good for drag racing, usually very hot, humid which doesn't give very good DA. In better cooler environments both these cars would trap better times. Porsche will be affected more by the heat than the Lambo as turbo cars love cold air, N/A engines not so much

That particular Turbo S just does not seem "well". The 911 992 Turbo S coupe should be running a consistent 10.1 - 10.3 (10.3 with bad start). Car seems a bit off on power. Wonder if they "H H Greg" put cheap or unknowingly "bad" gas in it before the races? I am assume all of these races were ran the same day at the track without refilling with fresh premium gas.
I still don't get why the EVO is not as quick as it should be at the start....it looks and sounds like the engine is struggling....In the video where the Performante and the Evo were raced, the performante faced the same issue...while the EVO launched perfectly off the line.

Turbo S has an insane acceleration even though the car is a 100% gasoline car, imagine how fast a Hybrid Turbo S would be from 0 to 60 or even to 100.

Actually on most magazine tests it did 10.2s/10.3s, 10.1s is its best time yet (on a non prepped surface), not its average time
and it did 10.2 here, look around, most run 10.3-10.5 at the drag strip.....

That particular Turbo S just does not seem "well". The 911 992 Turbo S coupe should be running a consistent
10.1 - 10.3 (10.3 with bad start). Car seems a bit off on power. Wonder if they "H H Greg" put cheap or unknowingly "bad" gas in it before the races? I am assume all of these races were ran the same day at the track without refilling with fresh premium gas.

I still don't get why the EVO is not as quick as it should be at the start....it looks and sounds like the engine is struggling....In the video where the Performante and the Evo were raced, the performante faced the same issue...while the EVO launched perfectly off the line.
Id guess the Lambo guy forgot to turn off in later runs. Usually when such a powerful car drops revs like that it was the traction control.
I was confused by the fact that the Evo actually left the Turbo S in the first race but the next 2 races ere what I expected from the Porsche.
seems like something not right with the turbo's trap speed, should be usually in the 130's unless due to the da the tubturboro is making less power...
I watched this again after owing my 2019 Huracan in verde mantis and she got everything fast sexy spaceship futuristic look, mean and raw NA V10 bull power

Race 1 and 3 were most interesting, race 1 the turbo s got the hit but by mid track the evo had already caught up and was pulling……..and on race 3 the evo got the hit but was immediately overtaken😳🤔……maybe the evo start pulling power to save the clutch or tans?!
That's it? No narrative at the end. Why does the Lambo bog down at the start...twice? Its that 1sec lag in the Huracan that allows the 911 to pull ahead. Were the tires spinning? What's the conclusion to this match up??????

I thought that no lambo could beat the 992 turbo s even at the drag strip.But first there was a random Huracan Performante which defeated it on a drag strip now a Huracan EVO.Guess lambos are strong on drag strips💪💪💪💪💪
That launch control lag eats these v10's up at every race. Don't use launch control. It's junk.
