Turbo, S is the only car that is ever given me a slight sensation of tunnel vision, where my ion at the periphery of my retina is turning black. And I’ve driven most of the Lamborghinis and I own a Corvette. But the turbo S is a different sensation.

You can quite literally hear the Turbo S get into its power sooner than the Tecnica. You'll need a much longer strip for the Tecnica's top end to make a difference.
For rear wheel drive, the Tecnica is very fast. Top end run, the Tecnica will be faster. My friend and I did a test, in his 992 turbo, and my Tecnica. Very competitive .
yo, that 992 Turbo S is stock, the 992 turbo you ran against the evo was running super slow, stock 992s run 10.1/10.0@133+ and lightweight pack runs 9.9@135+
It wasn’t running slow, those times you quoted were pretty much ideal conditions. Car and driver tested them at those times with a 4mph higher trap speed for both. So while it’s possible, you can’t expect ideal every time, even if the cars are extremely consistent and can manage to set those times. Just the way the world works
Put it on the dyno, if you dare.... No way it runs 10.1 seconds with only 650 horsepower (550 whp since it is AWD and has increased drivetrain losses). The Turbo S 992 is definitely making more power than claimed to output.

Many other manufacturers often release best case scenario figures. That factory rated 640hp and/or 1/4 mile & 0-60 times was more than likely what they noted while testing in the heat of South Africa. Note, the Turbo S in this video was cutting ~1.48 '60 times...track surface was really good and thus it was not short shifting into 2nd and/or killing his '330. That same car on that day and track with a tune and exhaust would have ran 9.50's. Ask me how I know😊 😊

C8Z06 has a great launch and 0-60 but just not enough to keep it going, it's trap speed is on the lower side but its ET is pretty quick. Should be pretty close. Love the new Z06's btw.
Both cars are pretty neck n neck but the huracan being around 250lbs lighter edges out the c8 z. According to reviewers though both cars trap around the same, mid 10s, low 130s
Yeah, I own both and the big P is just at another level, performance wise. The big P is a bit boring in its own way because it’s just about perfect. No drama! I love the Huracan but Lambo really need to step up with the engines. A NA is from 2 generations ago (then Turbo then Hybrid). Basically the Huracan has had 640 hp for the past 10 years.

I get how the turbo s got out front to 330 or 1/8, but shocking to see it still pulling slightly on the back 1/8. It has to be modded or is underated on hp. Maybe its more like 700? Maybe its just that the turbo S shifts are quicker - just enough to carry it through the gears to a gap.
Turbo S can do 10.3s on unprepared track all day so i am pretty sure it was stock. It can also do 100-200 kmh in 5.9s. Watch carwow or AutotopNL and you will see.

C8Z06 has a great launch and 0-60 but just not enough to keep it going, it's trap speed is on the lower side but its ET is pretty quick. Should be pretty close. Love the new Z06's btw.
Both cars are pretty neck n neck but the huracan being around 250lbs lighter edges out the c8 z. According to reviewers though both cars trap around the same, mid 10s, low 130s
Yeah, I own both and the big P is just at another level, performance wise. The big P is a bit boring in its own way because it’s just about perfect. No drama! If it wasn’t for my aftermarket exhaust on my big P, it would truly be super boring. I enjoy it because it just blends in. The Lamborghini is just nucking futz😂. The sound - oh what glorious music! I love em both but for different reasons…

I love the Huracan but Lambo really need to step up with the engines. A NA is from 2 generations ago (then Turbo then Hybrid). Basically the Huracan has had 640 hp for the past 10 years.
Who cares! It is not about quarter mile time look at Ferrari it killed the brand with its stupid turbos ! Put a turbo on a honda civic it will be faster only immature people care about how quick the car is

I get how the turbo s got out front to 330 or 1/8, but shocking to see it still pulling slightly on the back 1/8. It has to be modded or is underated on hp. Maybe its more like 700? Maybe its just that the turbo S shifts are quicker - just enough to carry it through the gears to a gap.
Traction+torque+PDK is the difference I think.
The Lambo is probably down a bit on torque off the line. Hard to compete with a good turbo car.

Turbo S can do 10.3s on unprepared track all day so i am pretty sure it was stock. It can also do 100-200 kmh in 5.9s. Watch carwow or AutotopNL and you will see.

Porsche is not tuned. Its all wheel drive. That was the difference maker.

mine is tuned and runs a 9.6. ran 10 flat when it was stock in the perfect conditions. it could run 10.1 and 10.2 all day long bone stock

10.5 rwd is awsome saying the awd perf did 10.3...porsche awd and turbo torque is inevetable. Good effort for the technica. Also notice how short the gearing is in the turbo-s.

Porsche stock with stock tyres. Lambo stock with Toyo 888 rears. Not stock for stock. Porsche will always beat more powerful cars due to the engine right behind the rear wheels. Mid and front engined cars are at an immediate traction disadvantage. 😂😂😂
