I know Peter would have a hell of a time trying to get 100% secrets on nightmare on Map09, I can't even do it with save states, only 1 green armor, limited health, and nearly every enemy is a hitscan enemy.
I've been working on TNT with Brutal Doom and pistol (well, rifle) starting each level. Map 4 was insanely hard due to how little ammo there is. I died more often than not due to running out of ammo.
I played it 5 years ago. It is somewhat easier (weapons are stronger, rifle from the begining is strong), but some areas are totally insane (with Black Metal difficulty - fast and stronger monsters + brutal mod abilites).
AA AA the only level I’ve died in more than once so far is level 4. The rest have been relatively easy compared to it. Like I said, the ammo just feels incredibly scarce on that level.
@@ExSpectre What about mission where you went down the elevator into the prison area surrounded by hell kingts and barons? That was quite insane. But most levels were easy, I agree.
@@ExSpectre You will know, some areas are incredibly hard with that mod. But I must say, Brutal Plutonia was harder, because in Brutal Doom, you can dodge hitscanners if you have time. And in Plutonia, it is harder to dodge missles, especialy from Mancubus and with his splash damage - missions like Abbatoire, Prison (level 7?), or Death Domain from begining (fast plasma from spiders) - that was nearly impossible. I did not completed Abbatoire, final circle was too mutch, you cannot hide in the corners because of splash damage of mancubus. I would like Decino or Peter to do the Brutal Doom :-)

And yeah, TNT is bruising me...ow..
Yeah TNT has a lot, lot of hit-scanners ... (such as Stronghold, Storage Facility, Steel Works, for example) That makes your run ridiculously difficult.

Yes they have a human roasting on a fire over a barrel in the beginning of the level HOWEVER the secret room through the blue door is actually a meat locker. They bring the human bodies down to that area, do whatever, and then roast them up top. Lol lol thats my interpretation ha lol
Yeah thats what i thought too, was hoping there was some kind of setting to make every level start itself with pistol instead of having to do that every new level, oh well no great loss.

I suppose?
Rule #1 is we do not talk about... oh, this is Doom! Then, yes, rule #1 is do not walk into crossfire!
I know Peter would have a hell of a time trying to get 100% secrets on nightmare on Map09, I can't even do it with save states, only 1 green armor, limited health, and nearly every enemy is a hitscan enemy.
Thanks you Kanye very cool!
Watching these videos in preparation for something is not right series...and I am cringing at the lack of item pick ups!! Haha, old times.
TNT?
Rev up those SR50s
This is a "known" map, Yes? 😉
You seem to know where every enemy is, Mr decino. 😒
Ahhh, well, experience pays..... 😎
I've been working on TNT with Brutal Doom and pistol (well, rifle) starting each level. Map 4 was insanely hard due to how little ammo there is. I died more often than not due to running out of ammo.
I played it 5 years ago. It is somewhat easier (weapons are stronger, rifle from the begining is strong), but some areas are totally insane (with Black Metal difficulty - fast and stronger monsters + brutal mod abilites).

the only level I’ve died in more than once so far is level 4. The rest have been relatively easy compared to it. Like I said, the ammo just feels incredibly scarce on that level.
@@ExSpectre What about mission where you went down the elevator into the prison area surrounded by hell kingts and barons? That was quite insane. But most levels were easy, I agree.
AA AA
I haven’t gotten that far yet, I just started this playthrough relatively recently. I’ll let you know when I’ve gotten through it.
I would like Decino or Peter to do the Brutal Doom :-)
tnt map01 best map01 of the official iwads change my mind
13:05 Wait...*who are you?! What have you done with Decino?!*
13:15 oh right. TNT is hitscanner hell. Not the usual imp & big imp hell. Carry on.
Evilution was always way better than Plutonia
it's a Beautiful game
32:54 - 33:03 that was pretty badass
I know this is an old video, but I'm watching because I'm trying to 100% TNT from a pistol-start and it's giving me hell so I need tips :)
Just curious, Decino, as to why you didn't telefrag the Barons and Hell Knights in Map 2? Too dangerous with Fast Monsters on? Shotgunning barons doesn't seem like your favorite thing in the world, so I was surprised when that's what you opted to do. :)
And once again, thanks for inspiring me to try and git gud at Doom. And yeah, TNT is bruising me...ow..
Too dangerous. Teleporting briefly holds you in place -- enough time for projectiles to hit you.
@@decino good to know when I get around to trying fast monsters...but that probably won't be for a while.
Yeah TNT has a lot, lot of hit-scanners ... (such as Stronghold, Storage Facility, Steel Works, for example) That makes your run ridiculously difficult.
Pacifist Plutonia and TNT Evilution when?
Never ever.
The problem with Tnt is that they put you in wide open maps full of guners with little Health pickups
To this day, I STILL haven't beaten TNT without saving.
And I use GZDoom's mouselook...
hey where is the cyber-demon in the outside area where you hit the button to unlock the blue key, and bfg, chaingun and rocket luancher on the blue part of the begginging spawn area?
ok so after idclipping through to that area with the weapons, turns out they arent actual tiems, they just share the sprite as weapons
Those only appear in multiplayer.
Ok i analyzed this level many times HUMAN BBQ. Yes they have a human roasting on a fire over a barrel in the beginning of the level HOWEVER the secret room through the blue door is actually a meat locker. They bring the human bodies down to that area, do whatever, and then roast them up top. Lol lol thats my interpretation ha lol
Awwww yeeeaa it's T N T ( it's dyno-mite!)
Hey Decino do you know how to start each map pistol start using GZDoom (i know you use glboom instead still wandering if you know)
Use the IDCLEV cheat to warp to a level you want to pistol start.
Yeah thats what i thought too, was hoping there was some kind of setting to make every level start itself with pistol instead of having to do that every new level, oh well no great loss.
Decino, I imagine you have tons of plans for video but just curious if you'll ever do a doom 64 or doom 64 ex play through. It's my favorite doom and would love to see how much of a scrub I am in that game.
Maybe. I have yet to play Doom 64.
TNT has great textures and music but does look like more of a pill than Plutonia. I presume some entertaining bloopers will see the light.
Great video as always Decino.
Have you tried beating Sigil without killing a Single Enemy (pacifist)? It’s the only chapter left in your Doom I pacifist videos
Also, will you play No Rest for the Living and Master Levels in fastUV?
Pacifist SIGIL is kicking my ass, so that one will take time. I may do NRftL, haven't played it yet, but looks good. Master Levels is kinda crappy, so no.
Backing up while using chainsaw on pinkies will prevent the damage from the bite, IT SHOULD.
Not when they're turbo.
