I disagree. This tribute is pretty sweet. Kurt himself would have eventually done it. Every song needs an acoustic version. Even Metallica or sound garden or whoever else does it
Really suck.. I'm too tired nowadays so many people try to cos playing as Kurt and the band.. Just be yourself and show your own talent.. This is just no
I don’t think you understand what a cover band is then if you think in this performance he should use his voice and not Kurt’s. Nirvana tribute for a reason.
It's about trying to recreate the experience as faithfully as possible. I don't necessarily want some joe schmo putting their own "twist" on things. I'd like to experience this as if it were the 1993 event.
@@napalm5 I agree with your statement, however kurt did exactly that himself, in nearly every song he covered he put in his on little twist, such as their most popular cover "man who sold their world" the solo he did was completly made up by him on the spot.
It was suppose to resemble as close as possible the real event. They absolutely delivered on this. The unplugged portion was near note for note perfect. Even the exchanges between band members between songs was the same as Unplugged. You might call it cosplay, but I'd say it's keeping with the recreation. It was done tastefully and respectfully. I'd rather see it done this way than have them put their own spin on it. These other songs were added as "what ifs" to the main show and it was a nice touch.
@GMMephisto a tribute/cover band MUST cosplay the original. Why would they go all that way to play their songs and sound like them and match their set decorations and not be authentic to the attire?
Kurt once said “if you try to be someone else, it’s a waste of who you are”.
IT’S A TRIBUTE BAND, SHUT UP DUMBASS, we know that prhase but litterally its stupid in this context
dude it s a tribute thats kinda the whole point
Yeah so stupid Kurt shouodnt have covered the beatles right?
lol 😂
@@KingOfTheKnight um spell right please X
This video makes me sad, I wish Kurt is still alive😥
Surely I'm not the only one that finds this extremely creepy?
It’s a cover band/tribute. They pay homage, and here they did well.
Yep not the only one
Ghostly👻
Yep and trippy lol
Oh no bro everytime I see some people who try to copy Kurt it s it disgusts and me make creepy
What is wrong with those people in the comments?
nice job man, dont care about the bad comments, you guys did such a great job.
Just because Kurt said it doesn't mean your life depens on it
why smells like teen spirit played acoustically, it's so weird

Ma come si permette di vestirsi come Kurt 😅

Great job, well done, keep it up!!!!
He should find his own voice and personality

To Aussie
You can do a tribute without trying to cosplay Kurt. Also Kurt disliked SLTS, They not even played this song on the mtv unplugged. Just no.

@@napalm5 So it was cosplay session not a tribute.

@@GMMephisto you must be an idiot or something.. -face palm-
