The guitars are very clear and sound great in this version (although they often do) especially with soundboard audio Its also because pat smear is on a second guitar. Kurts guitar is panned kinda left and pats is panned kinda right. This gives it a similar feel to the studio version with guitar layering

That solo was perfectly imperfect
Towards the end he started throwing that open B string in there during the 2nd half of the solo. Probably started as an accident but sounds killer.
