The 300x300mm work area is perfect for all my projects, and the 50w power allows me to cut through a wide range of materials with speed and precision. This machine is incredibly reliable and easy to use I love it!
Jeez, you must have 40 lasers to post all these reviews. Although we all know you're a troll. Your UA-cam channel has zero content. Pretty big red flag, troll..
Great! I highly recommend this machine to anyone who is serious about laser cutting or engraving. It's an investment that will pay for itself in no time.
What are the lenses you recommend? Looking at pulling the trigger on one of these for some jobs I have lined up. Wondering what lens choice you recommend for aluminum, and metals?
It looks like they changed the listing and are shipping with a smaller lens now. So if you want the 12x12 you need to also get the 300x300mm lens. But honestly if you are working on jewelry you are better off with the smaller lens seeing that it's way more powerful. They have the 300x300mm lens as an add-on option for a little over $100 more.
So the work area is a function of the lens itself and not the work bed. I'm new to this so still learning. It looks like your work base is bigger than the machine pictured. Is that the one that came with the machine or add on accessory. Thanks for the help it is appreciated.
Yes the lens will change your work area size. That being said the bigger the work area the more power you need out of your laser to make nice makings. That is why I suggested someone smaller than 12x12 because it really cuts the power level down.
The work area changes size depending on the lens. So this came with a lens that would give you a 300 by 300 mm work area and I swapped it out to one that gives you only 70 x 70 mm but because of the smaller area it's able to focus more power into what you're engraving or cutting
Cool product, but Im always annoyed about the lack of safety equipment these things come with. Seems a lot of people dont know to take laser safety seriously. Would you be interested in making a laser safety video for us? Please be safe!
Yeah they really do leave the safety part all up to the user for sure. I might be able to make a safety video about the different laser types seeing that I have all of them 😁👍

Can you engrave 3D depth on stones?
Were you able to get any marking at all on Copper with the larger lens? I have some use cases where I'd want to do this for large PCB prototypes.
Will it engrave quartz? Or rocks?
@@paulmales5676 rocks yes, quartz I don't know

Really? You can cut with this machine? For example you can cut 2-3mm stainless steel? Many thanks!
greetings What if this machine can make holes or cuts to the copper plate that you marked in the video?
This should be able to cut thin copper but its not fast. I think it can do something like 0.5mm to 0.8mm
@@randymay Hi! Would I be able to cut through 0.5mm with the lens of 300x300?
@@randymayhow do u feel about it after using it more
Now i looking also, but normally like buy full option, 100w is better or can be broken often ?and you ever try cun stainless 1 mm can or not ?

You ever get an answer?
Does it cut copper, and how thick? Can it cut 22 gauge roofing copper ?
On your link it says 12×12 but when you go to the link at Monport it says 7.9x7.9. Is the 12×12 available?

hi there good video, what sort of business cards did you do the test on?
Will the work area always be the same regardless of the lens?

Could this setup be viable for hydrophobic laser surfacing?
i am on the fence with one of these or with a SFX 50W JPT. how is the monport working for you?
How do you change colour to black
Hi! Does this laser do color?
Yes but only on stainless steel and titanium
@@randymay is this the regular fiber or the mopa one? Looking at their website it appears only the mopa can do color. Ty
How much is this machine Soo cool
How does this company compare to ComMarker?
You use your Machine at 20 kHz? The Rayus 50W can only 50 - 100 kHz... You may damage your Lasersource... Keep in Mind.

Monport is terrible support. I got my second laser from anne at Morlit laser. They are all the same inside. I got the Mopa 60 JTP for 3500.
