Awesome pictures with color, I really like the look. I have in the past painted alot of oil canvasses. Now I bought my first lazer and this is so cool and perfect pictures. Oil painting took so long because of dry time. This method will speed up my paintings and they look professional. Thanks for posting this video. I subscribed to your chanel.

Wow, thanks for the video, these are so fantastic. I am awaiting on my replacement M1 from Xtool which is taking forever, however I will definitely give this a shot when and if it finally arrives. Just watching this video has given me so many ideas with the paint. Thinking white small bread and butter plates with a flat centre, you could do so much on those, they could be sold as collectlibles. So just doing one offs. Even mugs, cups, or tumblers and the list goes on. This technique will definitely expand my variety of items and methods of art work on my peices.

I tried this on a M1 Ultra w/ the 10 W but, I didn't spray paint them. I used a foam brush and put 3 coats of yellow and then 3 coats of black but, when we did the material test it didn't come out good. Most of the test prints didn't even show the yellow paint underneath. Some of them were super scorched and almost burned thru the canvas panel. I wonder if the coats were too thick.

Have you ever separated the RGB color channels of a color photo, exported as separate images, imported those images as different burn layers/depths? This ideally should produce easy color match if the burn depths are ideal. Also have you tried working with UV reactive paints?

Im new to lasers, researching which one to buy. My wife is a big crafter, but I'm looking at this for a side hustle and this artwork is more my style. I've watched several of your vids and I'm still struggling with which one might be best for us. Clearly, a person needs one of each? :( The M1 ultra for my wife hands down. For me...doing these type of pieces...I believe that could/would work, but production time/capacity is my concern. The lack of S1 conveyor limits the size of production being one concern. You state 30 minutes to a couple hours in this video. I've seen vids online over 4 hours! That leads me to the F1 Ultra for speed, but then I'm limited to about 11" in height. Can anyone on here tell me production time on say a 2 color, black and white 8x10" on the different type for Xtool machines? Production time? For me, the P2S and F1 Ultra bundle seems the best but that leaves my wife somewhat out in her crafting options. :( I'm joining some FB groups and plans to get information there...thought I'd ask here while I'm waiting approval. TIA!

How significant are the differences in your results using the 20W module vs the 40W? I know the 20W has a smaller dot size and a square dot vs the rectangular dot of the 40W, but I wonder to what extent this impacts the level of achievable detail in the real world. Great video! I've done the odd bit of playing with paint and laser but not much so far. I bought a load of white ceramic tiles, it was cheaper than canvases and multi use! Where I live, it tends to be a bit of a pain to go outside and spray paint and to be honest, since I don't do a lot of it, the cans tend to seize up....However, I have found that if you use a magic eraser torn into strips, you can dip into acrylic or other paint and get a really good, even layer, quite quickly. I can do that in my craft room easily and I already have lots of small tubes in loads of colours to use up. The other thing with using tiles to practice on, is that you can clean them off after and re use for more testing!
