First off huge fan been watching you since the beginning and I share the love of welding and fabricating. Congratulations on choosing an amazing laser brand like SFX. I don’t know much about the laser engraving machines they offer but I purchased three of their laser cleaning machines and am blown away on how well they perform and the customer service. Looking forward to future videos! Grand Rapids MI.
Jv that awesome. wow congrats. cant wait to see more videos soon. hope you will get great use out of for many years ahead of you. Keep up the great craftsmanship an hard work JV.Fab On. Weld On. keep Making. God Bless.
Not sure if you noticed, or required. The bottom usb slots are your usb 3.0 onwards one. If you require faster read, write, run speeds, use those. The one you used I believe is a standard usb port, 1.0. Onwards to watching the video.
Thank you for the video. I am contemplating what to get to engrave copper busbars for battery builds. I would prefer to put down 5-20 busbars and have the engraving done in one go, rather than individual pieces.
Would you have any classes because I am trying to learn on the depth and speed to engrave brass coin. I cut through a 2.5mm thickness and deep engrave a circle in a 3mm thickness and ended up with a penny size Egypt bug.
All in one?? I love the fiber for the metal capabilities, but a Co2 would make powder coated tumblers easier. BUT the minimal maintenance on a galvo fiber is nice.
They sent you that for FREE??!! ........... well of course you found it wonderful in ALL regards!... $8000.00 !! congratulations on that gift !!........... holy smokes!
Odd, my EMP Fiber laser is all tested in the US and doesn’t require any of this weird setup and testing and back and forth checking. Just plugged in and worked.
greetings! I installed my jpt laser fiber and when I enter the ezcad2 program it tells me demo and it doesn't record. What can I do to install it correctly? thank you
Question...I am a FFL (Federal Firearms Dealer). I am looking for a Fiber Laser that would be able to engrave firearms. I have ben told to get a 100W unit. Do you feel that would be enough power? Thank you!!!
Super helpful video! I am looking to make an investment and get one and have been doing tons of research. This video for beginners is perfect. Any plans on making any more videos regarding the fiber laser?

Great to see you finally settled on something. I switched to an all in one setup and have my 50w JPT for sale. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.

@@JustVoss the computer is under the fixture plate. I’ll post some video when I get home later this week.
I think I’ve seen something like that! Is there a problem with the dust from the engraving falling into the components?
@@JustVoss great question. I haven’t heard of an issue.

THANK YOU so much for this!
so where does all that metal vapor go? I don't see any kind of extractor.

Limited material compatibility. The OMTECH engraver struggles with various materials, severely restricting its usability

We are two now and no respond back yet
More than enough but I'm sure you know that now.
Do you have or need an exhaust fan (ventilation)?
Yes, absolutely you do.
What mm lens did it com with?
Nice, Very Good.

What’s the price and where can I get one of those
Like 7-8k USD on Amazon.
Do I need ventilation for this?
Yes. There are good air filtration systems online for around $700.
Is fiber or CO2 better ? Jewelry making?
Fiber for sure
Don't even play around too long with EZcad. Go ahead and get Lightburn and just start there.
Wow that’s quite expensive, almost $8000 usd long time to recover that invest
Why did this channel stop?
It hasn’t, more like a break haha. Coming back soon.
@ happy to hear it!
I've heard some 3D Printers are also delivered in wooden boxes:)
8 grand is quite the investment.
It is but machines like this were 14k not long ago. And if you don’t need 60w you can save some there too.
Cloudray 50 watt Raycus Fiber laser with a 300mm x 300mm bed is half that price and a really good laser.
Can you please write down your phone number or any contact information
I have fiber leaser for my Jewelry store and I can’t set it up.
