- Friends, check out this DIY stairway to flooring transition! I used a scrap oak stair tread that was give to me after purchasing a tool! I went with a chocolate Rubio for the finish as I had that on hand. I prob will redo it once I get larger screws but this will work for now… If you have any questions, please let me know! Nice job. Im learning about how to make the landing transition. I dont need the dowel with the added wood but nice to see that option. Appreciate the video
That dowel was added because of a mistake lol. I tried to buy a transition but none existed at the big box stores that worked for my needs…
You had a brad nailer. why not brad nail it on instead of leaving big exposed screw heads showing on top? Other than that tho looks really nice
I wanted big exposed screw heads so I could remove it easily if needed.

Well silent movies have been gone for over a hundred years. I like to watch different videos to get ideas how to do things. I don't have all the tools you have and and you didn't explain anything you did. You didn't have to make the comment explaining what wood is.Your ovicley a legend in your mind if I need a new bird house I will get in touch
Lol. Im definitely not a legend. But i would happily help you if you have a question about how to do something and if i know another tool that could do what you need. Your right about the silent movies though. That probably one of the many reasons my channel doesn’t get much traffic but that thats also my preference. I hate watching videos with voice overs. I did one video that way and it just isnt me. Let me know when you want a bird house…
