Those are the things you can easily miss during a test ride, because you are exited about riding a new bike. But overtime shortcomings of the new purchase become apparent and it is always frustrating. But if you can solve them, than it is just a money problem.
hi that rotation i did too on my stock hunter handle to increase the height of the handle bar , also i increased the cushion of the seat by adding the pillow cushion, so yes it made a lot of difference in the ride comfort, finally the hunter's sound is more than Nightshift's scooter sound and also more than an int650's sound, it is more bassy and scares all on the 5 meter radius while accelerating so i installed a db killer to kill the bass and improve the initial pickup also by improving the backpressure so yes all you these 3 things i did too in a sort of jugaad way to feel better, nice video and awesome bike, i like only the nightshift from the ducati lineup
Cool! Great to hear you did similar mods to your bike! Unfortunately the rotation wasn't enough for me, and I still wanted higher bars so I upgraded to the new ones. I will try to make a new video and show my new setup. All the best! Have fun riding and ride safe!
Great video I just purchased my full throttle I’m 64 - 6’.3 I love it been riding dirt / street 49 yrs Yes not to thrilled with the seat but I only ride 2 maybe hrs I don’t do any long highway rides I bought it to bang around on it & explore local roads handles great & very light. Easy on & off
Scrambler is tiny, that's true. I once went for a ride with F900XR and GS1200 and realised how small my moped was. However, I would not want any of those at this part of my biking journey.
GREAT AS ALWAYS! You ponder the things that are not satisfactory to you and find your way out of them. Very cool, the Vince exhaust also looks fantastic! RIDE SAFE !!! (btw: beautiful Wales)
It is good looking! That's one of the reasons I got it! Handles well too! I need to make another entry about the pros of the bike. How do you find it so far? Yes, that's the Evotech engine guard.
I'd like to remap it, cause i don't like how it pops on throttle release. However LeoVince said it wasn't necessary. I didn't find someone who can remap it for me and another problem is that a custom map will be erased on the next dealer visit. So I hope that Power Commander or similar will add support of 2024 Scramber to their devices. Have you found a solution?
And it was a huge success! I discovered a new win recently, when failed to adjust a preload and the user manual advised to visit a dealer and a certified mechanic everytime I decide to take a pillion or put more luggage. I have no clue
Hey mate! I got it from ebay (from the dealer) but you can order from your local dealer directly it is called - Ducati Scrambler Sport Headlight Fairing
Hey there! I've tried two already. I got Rizoma MA009 first, and felt like they were still a bit too low. I got used to it after a while, but the feeling of incompleteness was still there. So I just ordered new ones - Renthal 609 RC High.
very inspiring! I just got mine and I'm using your build as mod template lol. Could you share link for the handle bar? did not find it under video description.

@@thesundayrides I got mine they are very nice seats. However i got mine in vantage pebble black, not great fit for night shift. I would go for their brown or just vantage black. Btw what do you think of getting a +5 bar instead of having a +3 and rotate up?
Hey Gerry! No, no rewiring needed, because all models have the same wires/cable - enough length to fit icon's very tall bars. Fairing helps a little bit, when riding at 70+ you can feel with your hand how the air flow changes. It's not your adventure bike windscreen, but it helps a bit.
Do you have the nightshift? changing to full throttle steering should be a good idea. check out this handlebar Rizoma ma009 www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/745544
@@thesundayrides that wheel looks good sems abitt lower then full throttle bar but it looks better on the nightshift maybe 🤔 like something inn between. I love the Original look of the bar. But if it was just a little bitt higher it will be alot better. Might try your link out 👍

@@thesundayrides well my comment was pretty negative and childish but you answered really maturely... Respect... But comparing a 5000dolar bike to a 12000dolar bike seems unfair and irrelevant as their target base are quite different
no worries! I guess it is also interesting to many people (myself included) - what do you actually get for the extra you pay for the ducati? is it 2x better? and to be honest, I found out that it is a better bike, but not in everything and they are on quite the opposite end of the spectrum for me. when I prepare for a ride, I know already which bike I will enjoy it more with.
Nice Max More expensive doesn’t always translate to better. Will be interesting to see how maintenance goes with the Ducati, have always loved the sound and look of Ducati’s but their cost or perceived cost of ownership has always kept me away from the brand.
Thanks, Daryl! I was also worried about it, but looking at the service intervals and after speaking with service men it doesn't look as bad. time will tell!
I would hardly call any of these things problems. does he think any bike manufacturer is going to produce a bike designed just to his personal taste? That’s why the aftermarket exists.😅
When did he say that he expected manufacturers to produce a bike for his personal taste? Those were the problems for him. He just shared what he didn't like and how he improved it. Surprisingly, many people prefer not to touch their bikes and not to change anything.
The real problem with this bike is that for having 800cc it has very few hp and nm, it only has 2 valves and it comes without liquid cooling and that is even though it is the brand's entry-level motorcycle, meaning that from your first experience with Ducati they are already giving you shit.
The bike looks brilliant! Glad you made it your own and showed us, pretty inspirational.
Thank you very much! A few more upgrades were installed since than I and I can't wait to find some time to record and show you guys!

So, could one put the lower bars on the other Scrambler models?
Yes. Simple. But check the diameter of the clamps. NS and FT are 28mm and Icon is 22mm.
hi! i love what you did to your bike. but do you still need to remap?
