My favorite thing about the Terminator is that they never hold weapons with 2 hands because it is inefficient when you have no heartbeat and no muscles, therefore no muscle fatigue or shaking. it has hydrolic muscles and servos that can precisely move hundreds of pounds, which means it doesn't need to stabilize the gun with its second hand. that's a nice detail.
David Sánchez :D the good guy you say, well i guess thats true but i made evan bad. I didnt mean to, i killed a guy and after that evan would stomp their head in. Im a bad person.....
I love how he's checking the stability of the structure and is calculating if the force of his car is strong enough to get trough. Excellent detail that you only realise when you watch it the second time.
Another thing is when he comes driving and the shot is still on the police officer behind the desk it's lit up by the lights of the car but then in the next shot where the car breaks through the front door the lights are off.
Terminator starts to feel really terrifying, when you just throw away all the sci-fi you watched earlier and start realizing, that people in the movie cannot even imagine what is antrophomorfic robot
My question is why none of the cops seemed to care/didn't react immediately when they heard a loud crash of a car into the police station. In the time he took to crash the car and get out I would expect each of the cops to be in a fighting stance with their guns drawn. The first cop to die was walking out with a cup (of presumably coffee or water), being completely unaware of the loud crash. 1:36, and then another cop stood there out in the open after shooting for several seconds while the terminator slowly aimed his shotgun at him, time the cop could have used to get cover. 3:16
+Hamani Omarah Thats not the point. CGI is easy to do using compuers to mock up some 3d bullshit is easy, you pay a bunch of nerds with computers and sensor suits to make sone shit up. physical effects actually take a lot of effort to perfect. for example take star wars or independence day. Understanding the amount of work put into a movie makes it that much more enjoyable. While cgi may be more visually appealing at times, well done physical effects are always more entertaining and intriguing.
Terminator was such a simple story. Robot from the future sent to the past to terminate a target. Its simplicity is what makes it timeless. This was never meant to be a series of films. I'm looking at you T 3-6.
Well it's not just simplicity, I think tone and goal is really what made the 2 early films work and the rest didn't. T1: Horror movie / slasher with a sci-fi coat of paint. You could replace the Terminator with a vampire or invincible ghost and the plot wouldn't shift a line. T2: Pure action / adventure movie. It's about the boom, the bang, and the characters' struggle. The relationship between John Connor and his mum, the Terminator, everyone really, is brilliant. T3: what the fuck is this electric boogaloo of bad humour, bad references, bad characters, bad actors (jesus the guy playing John Connor was shit and his lines were worse) Salvation: it's alright but again what is your goal here, are we having a tone and a movie plot or just kinda mishmashing ideas Genisys: Just no Dark Fate: Feminist Flagbearer Fucking No
@@OneAngrehCat I'm breaking it down to just story, the foundation. T1 and T2 had a great foundation. It's story could be told in two to three sentences. T3 and beyond became more convoluted and muddled.
The visual accompaniment really does add something to the music. Having a visual outlet for the internal thoughts brought about by the sound leads to a more direct emotional response for the audience that"s more beneficial to their enjoyment.
When you involve more senses the impact is harder and deeper, that's why you can get really hooked on things like a well done videogame which are rare and few these days.
