As a property manager, I recognize the tactic of this woman. She was not trying to help or protect Al. She was not being nice. It was actually the opposite. She was being nosy (that property was none of her business) and she was jealous that something nice was being done for someone else. I see residents do this kind of thing pretty much every day. She was trying, in her own underhanded way, to get Al into trouble. She is the type that thrives on that kind of behavior. She loves getting people into trouble. It makes her feel "big and powerful". She wants everyone in the neighborhood to pay her on the back for being their savior so-to-speak. She'll go around telling her neighbors how she ran off a bad guy or called the cops on them. She digs on the idea of outwitting a bad guy. She comes back over and pretends she was really trying to protect Al when she sees it didn't go the way she wanted. If she'd actually been concerned about Al being "sketchy", she would not have come back out to the scene of her crime. She would have stayed in her home. I can't stand two-faced people like her and I've had to deal with many.

One of the women tried to get them arrested for doing a good deed, than act all innocent and the other woman wanted to tell them what they could and could not trim back on somebody else’s overgrown property!
It is the neighbors business in a sense, i think she was trying to protect from SQUATTERS. I prefer overgrown but maintained hedges - privacy. After 2 weeks of no mowing, neighbors should be mowing it to maintain the community. That way outsiders wont have to get involved to cut back overgrowth. I dont like it when "abandon" properties are cut, one guy cut an "abandoned" property in the country - he cut the overgrowth away/off from 1950's cars. Maybe the family didnt want anyone to see what they had on the property - even if they didnt run.
Just starting to watch this; but I always wonder why neighbors are SO suspect of people doing a good deed? First off- it's not like you two are going intio the house & trying to steal something or cause issues in the middle of the night- you are there in broad daylight-- making things look nicer & safer for eveyone. If she was so concerned about things-- then she should sit back, watch the transformation - & come ask you 'nicely' about it. THEN- Thank you profusely for doing something SO nice!!! She’s worried about a BANK’s property being trespassed. A BANK that has left the property in ruin due to neglect, and couldn’t care less how it affects the neighborhood. Truly, this bored woman needs to get a hobby.
That woman just wanted attention and wanted some power over a situation. Typical Karenesque behavior. I can understand if these guys were skulking around looking into the house but they were clearly mowing and their equipment equipment is probably worth more than the house. I'm just glad the black guy had a white guy with him. Otherwise, the cops may not have been as understanding.
I had some old church ladies 300 yards away call the cops on me for metal detecting and they made it sound like I was very dangerous, being threatening and waving a "weapon" around. But I had called the mayor first to make sure it was ok to detect the old abandoned football field and explained what I would be doing in detail. I`ve always donated a lot of things to local museums because I`m interested in recovering history. I keep the gold and silver though.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I live on that street in Sanford. I have been following you for over a year and can’t believe you were just here! I am a fan of how you are always paying forward. I apologize that you were treated this way however she doesn’t represent us. I am also very grateful for the way the police dept. handled it. Even though there are some bat crazy people living on this street, she does not represent us. That house is an eye sore and now it doesn’t look too bad 😊 Thank you!
She should be interested about the legality of abandoning a property and creating a hazardous situation. The walkway was overgrown and pedestrians would have to walk in the street.
Maybe that’s her angle. If the property is cleaned up, she can’t waste Code Enforcement’s time complaining about it. And then what would she do with her day?? 😂
It's a sad world when people with genuinely good intentions automatically get the guilty until proven innocent style harassment by "concerned citizens". I once spent a few months cleaning up trash in my neighborhood and surrounding area, and this one old guy (similar energy as this woman) questioned me for about 10 minutes straight. It was unbelievable how low they'll stoop to get a negative reaction and it took a lot of patience to get through the ridiculous line of questioning.
Ikr??? If I lived next door , I would be so grateful for someone to clean that up. But , honestly I know my husband would probably cut it when he did ours.
She's a terrible person, the type who has nothing going on in her own life so she has to get involved in everyone eases. He should have packed up and left it disgusting to look at.
Tbh, he isnt doing it for the love of charity. He is doing it for his own financial gain from youtube views. Theres a big difference when you help ppl expecting nothing in return and only doing it for personal gain.
If these nosy troublemakers would’ve spent HALF the time actually HELPING their neighbor with all their “precious” bushes, they wouldn’t have had the overgrown problem in the first place. That woman received more kindness and forgiveness from Al than she will ever recognize.
Lady next door came out and asked if they had bought the property and was given the reason they were there and was friendly neighbor across the street should have called the neighbor that spoke and got the story rather than look out "I spy Strangers" jumped onto the phone to cops.
@@tamtheman2099People like the neighbor that called the cops probably don’t speak to their neighbors. The person is cutting the grass, what criminal or squatter cuts the grass before moving in?!? 😂
Yes, exactly, she's an awful person looking to always cause troubles instead of helping or at the very least not interfering with the men working to clean up a yard.
I am 74 and have seen many guys cutting grass in every neighborhood we have lived in and never even thought of calling the police on them or even confront them. That is really rediculous.
Yeah. When I owned my home in Texas neighbors used to cut my lawn saying "It's getting a little out of control there soldier..." (Veteran) Usually it wasn't hard feelings, the guy just wanted something to do. When I moved to Baltimore and bought a home here, it's the same thing. The guy who used to cut my rear lawn died last year. Again for him, it was something to do and they got satisfaction out of it. I would just leave cold bottled water out on my deck for him. I'm often reminded about how men truly crave meaningful and or satisfactory labor. It's explains why men build the world and often ask for nothing in return that is proportional to their labor.
Many neighborhoods? So you moved a lot? Meaning you did not own the properties so yeah you would not understand but even when somebody is wrong there is a way to understand
I've lived in Florida for 40 years, I'm not at all surprised. A lot of the old people are paranoid and don't trust anyone, they consume way too much fear-mongering media and think everyone is out to get them. It's a shame really, because people are generally good all around, but living in negative spaces online is really messing peoples minds up.
This is the exact reason why once I’m retired from the military why I will be living in the country as far away from people as possible. Can’t even do something good without someone being nosy and calling the cops on you. 1st time watching your video. You earned your like and sub from me. Keep doing what your doing and be safe
They'd rather have someone arrested for cleaning up a property, rather than call the police on someone trashing the place ......... WOW, it takes all kinds !! Al, you & Charles keep doing what your doing ! We love you !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Keep doing the blessings to help others who need help. Take it with a grain of salt. We sure live a brain dead society it seems. They should of cleaned up the property. Being good neighbors and citizens. makes me think they were hiding something. That you for helping others in need. You and yours are so blessed. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
God bless you and Charles. My husband is 78 and cuts both our neighbors lawn as well as ours. It's all about helping those who can't do for themselves .
Yeah, and I'll bet these busy body neighbors are the first ones to complain to the city about how overgrown that yard was. Some people just can't mind their own business.
Not Karen's property; none of her business. People have WAY too much time on their hands. I can't believe some people would actually NOT want a property cleaned up. Stop causing nonsense and be grateful, ladies. Thank you for the good work, Al and Charles!
Goes both ways, Al should have knocked on a neighbor’s door to get the back story on the place and see if they’d be OK with the, cutting the grass. He’s done that in almost all his videos but for some reason not in this one.
@@steelehere1. Why should he seek her permission to clean up a yard that is not hers? Nonsense! The cleaning up of the yard can only be a positive change for her.
@@steelehere1……while l see your point……..still none of their business! Before my neighbor moved in (house had been empty for at least 8-10 months). 2 guys showed up one day and started cleaning up the yard. I never bothered them. Just thought…cool, someone finally bought that house! I have a few police officer friends, never mentioned it to them. Some people are just nosy and can’t mind their own business!
Just a heads up, in most locales, the city is responsible for the care/upkeep of "abandoned property." You can always call the city, describe what you do and ask if they have an owner on record for that property. Some counties you can look up this information yourself and try to contact the owner. If it is legally considered "abandoned," then you can ask the city for permission and if granted, you'll have official permission to be on the property. As far as the legality of it, since it is city-owned private property, the city would be the one that would have to decide to prosecute and the worst you could be charged with is trespassing. In this case, it wouldn't be immediate charges. They have to trespass you first (which is an official notice that you are not allowed on the property) and then if you were spotted on the property after being trespassed, then you could be charged with trespassing. This is general advice. Your city/county might be a little different than the above but that is generally how it works.
"...city-owned private property,..." There is no such thing as city owned private property. All city owned property is public property. All city owned property is owned by the taxpayers of the city. Public property can be open to the public or not for good cause, but it is never private. Government of the people, by the people, for the people. Not government of the politicians, by the politicians, for the politicians. The public's government, the public's property, the public's employees, the public's servants.
My brother, 74, bought a coffee and a magazine and went to the town square to sit on a park bench and enjoy the nice day. Someone called the cops on him, too, for what we call "committing suspicious". It seems no one ever goes to the town square and sits on the park benches to enjoy a nice day. Go figure!
That Karen should be ashamed of herself. Al,you and Charles, are a blessing to the communities you help. Thank you for being you and not letting the bad vibes control you. The yard looks amazing!!!!!
Stop abusing the name Karen. It’s a beautiful Nordic name and you’re insulting millions of innocent people. Try something else to prove how cool you are and how touch you are. It’s racist, and it’s sexist. Enough.
What is wrong with people??!!! They call the cops on someone cleaning a yard! Shame on them. Thank you for your good work trying to make the world a better place.
She wasn’t worried about the legality of them cleaning up the property, she was being a nosy Nellie. If she’s not willing to step up and keep the grass mowed she shouldn’t complain about someone else doing it. Good job Al and Charles.
@@dsmeadows2848 The lady in the pink was not the nasty one....the first lady called the cops. The lady in the pink actually had a reason she did not want her yard mowed....water leak problem that is scheduled to be repaired...the darned plumber might have to tear up her entire yard!
But they heroically call the police, lie about what is going on, inflating the sense of danger, in hopes that numerous armed and keyed-up cops will show up and make those "ugly, probably homeless, filthy strangers" go away, perhaps even permanently! - I see the same thing time and time again in Jeff Grey (Gray?) videos (HonorYourOath Civil Rights Investigations) when he stands on public property, usually a sidewalk, and holds his cardboard sign, waving at people, calling out "God bless the homeless veterans" and wishing people a good day. Nearly every time, the 911 callers lie and say he is panhandling (legal under the 1st amendment per the US Supreme Court), blocking the sidewalk (he doesn't), and threatening people. The only people he might legitimately be threatening are the cops when he tells them that if they arrest him for his legal activity, they will lose their qualified immunity.
Yes, whenever someone shows up with a trailer full of lawn care equipment, I automatically think they're there to rob an abandoned house. That's some good logical thinking right there.
If I lived next to an abandoned property that looked that bad I’d be giving you refreshments and praises for cleaning it up!! I’m not being mean but there was no excuse for her calling the cops. She can say it was “questioning the legality” all she wants to but it’s obvious she tried to be a Karen. I’ll never understand people like that. You’re an amazing man Al for what u do and I’m sure the other neighbors appreciated it😊♥️😊
Amen to that! I watched that I'm like you ain't bringing these folks lemonade ice water and cool towels? Someone needed to turn the hose on that old bat. How suspicious....2 able bodied young men DOING(needed) YARD WORK🤦
Probably a liberal as they can’t stand someone doing something good for people. She is a nosy neighbor plain and sensible. Good bless you Al and Charles.
Wasting police resources on an old biddy call of someone cleaning up an abandoned house. They would rather that the city uses their tax dollars to mow it.
The cops did not seem at all concerned. Perhaps they have dealt with this lady nit picking n trouble seeking in the past. It’s too bad they both had to put their two cents in because it would’ve been really nice if the whole yard had been done. Love you, Al and Charles. You do great things!!!!
Being a disabled senior and a disabled husband, late 60s early 70s, what a blessing if you would clean our neighbors yard. A mother and son, with mental disorders. We cant help her, and now cant hardly do our own yard or garden. Just having folks like you in the world are a blessing, i would have feed you and huged you if youd done this for our neighbor. You have a great heart😊
Hello, there are several organizations out there that will assist all of you. If you are computer savvy, look up free grass cutting in my area or free yard work. There are plenty of people more than willing to help and share a blessing.
What neighbor, in their right mind, would call police on "legalities" of an abandoned house that is overgrown & trashy getting cleaned up & making our neighborhoods look clean, safe & free from squatters. She has nothing better to do & she was not looking out for her neighbors. Now, the sidewalk is SAFER for elderly taking walks, so they don't trip & break their hips on overgrown grass in the middle of the sidewalk, for people in wheelchairs, for children riding bikes... Great job, Bladez! You two were respectful, polite & went well over in forgiving. God will bless you guys in this, for being the better & bigger person
Why do you "Understand"? You weren't walking around looking in windows. You weren't testing doors. You were cutting grass in a bright orange shirt. Stealthy. You prove time and time again Al, you are a better person than most.
please don't tarnish the name, "Karen". Busy-body would be a better name. We have nice Karens in this world with this name and it makes them feel badly to hear this.
Looking "sketchy" is entirely in the eyes of the beholder, and it's also not a crime. Not only is the Karen guilty of wasting police time, the police are guilty of wasting public money responding to NON-CRIMES.
Personally, I think what you guys are doing is great. Keep it going. It makes the the house and the yard look better, it makes the neighbors house look better and it helps the area look better.
I love that Charles is helping you. Forget the “Karen”. Some people have nothing to do but stick their nose where it doesn’t belong. 😞🤷♀️ good job,as always.😊
She didn't think you were sketchy or she would have never left the house! Such a trouble maker. WOW! 2 cops came. She must have laid it on think to the dispatcher. They might think twice before coming to another call from her. Awwww, ya'll left it looking cute and homey. Thanks Al and Charles
Can you send the police it's an emergency, there's 2 men cleaning the neighbours yard 😂😂.... How do people get away with wasting police time... Great job, as always Al x
Because that's not their property It's Jim's property. I know Jim and that's not Jim. Jim never mentioned sending any lawn guys over to clean so maybe I'll just have the cop sort it all out. It's not exactly mental gymnastics
@@modelcitizen1977 If it was the property of someone that is still living there or is actively renting it out as an Air BnB or something then a concerned neighbor routine could make some sense if someone claimed they were randomly renovating it for free without having talked to the owner first. But an abandoned property that's heavily overgrown? No criminal is going to go out of their way to do hard labor for free, without getting permission from the owners, if they had nefarious intentions. Because, let's be real, a squatter or a drug dealer or meth cook isn't going to draw attention to themselves by cleaning up the property to make their movements even more easily seen. Not to mention there are a dozen easier ways to scout out potential properties to break into than hours of hard labor in broad daylight where they could easily be identified as potential suspects once the crimes have been committed. As pointed out by others in the comments, this lady is just a jealous old bat that was looking for trouble for no good reason.
@@transport6985 That's what I was kinda thinking. Do some expect yard workers to wear a 3-piece suit??? And/or We plan to invade inside to rob, but we want to mow and edge the grass for ya first!
Al here is an excellent example of how the people of this country have changed. You volunteer your time and equipment to clean out a property that the City or the neighbor would not do, and you, as an outsider, come and clean this property up. The scent of volunteering is not as it used to be. Since I watch you weekly, I see the good you do for the community. A neighbor and I started cutting three lots in our street that the owner would not cut. The grass was three feet high, and the mosquitos were giant, like a horse. Some neighbors did not like us cutting and cleaning these three lots, but we decided to do it and maintain them. Keep up the good work and keep your chin up. God Bless, brother.

When my wife and I bought our 1st home, there was an abandoned lot across the street. The neighbor said that the city just dozed the home into the basement, filled it in with dirt and never came back. That happened more than 10 years before we bought the house! The weeds on the lot were over 6ft tall!! And there was trash everywhere!! My brother, my dad and I spent 2 weeks cleaning up the property and made the entire neighborhood look better!! One neighbor complained and the rest thanked us!! A couple weeks later, someone bought that property!! Guess who that "someone" was!! Most of the trash was HIS TRASH, btw!! Some people are just like that!! Only happy if they're miserable! I don't live there anymore, but the last time I drove by there, the property looked like I'd never been there!! Sad!!
Just a bizzy body. She doesn’t care about “the legalities” that was just her justification for calling the cops. She needs to be thankful and more thoughtful in her actions. Another great job you two.
The cop calling neighbour was resentful that someone else was getting free gardening. She sure as heck doesn't look like she gets off her backside to do any. These young men have big hearts and are very resourceful. Good luck Bladez from 🇬🇧
The volume those cicadas can put out is amazing. Now you’ll have to add to your ‘merch line a t-shirt that says, “I may look sketchy, but I’m just here for the lawn.”
Since it was not the lady’s property, what business is it of hers? She should be thankful for what you do. Shame on her. Thank you Al and Charles for what you do for neighborhoods.
You made a difference Al and Charles. If I was a cop called out for this, I would have charged her with wasting police time, as you took the time to explain to her what you were doing. Anyway another great clean up. Much love to you both and to your families. ❤️❤️
You guys are not sketchy but rather a blessing to all. Some people thought Jesus was sketchy too and yet he blesses all who believe in Him. Thank you for what you do!
Please don’t let the neighbour put off your vital and needed care and kindness to people who in the main can’t help themselves or afford help, I certainly admire you both😊
She couldn’t in good conscience accept kindness from him after calling the cops. And she shouldn’t because she didn’t deserve it. The call was completely unnecessary.
Jesus said to pray for those people that use you and persecute you. To do good to them and it will heap coals on their head. He's right. Give it to the Lord...he said, vengeance is mine!
That Karen needs to stay in her lane. She has no idea what she was talking about and kept throwing "legality" around. A lot of people do this and people who are responsible for fining houses like this appreciate it. It also helps the city take a house off their list for another. You guys keep going. Seeing you are mowing and not trashing, there is a huge difference.
You’re saving the owner from getting tickets, making the neighborhood look much better, helping lots of people who can’t do it themselves, etc…. She should be grateful!
@@MrBollocks10 yes, with fines. They fined me more than $2000 because I couldn't keep up with the yardwork. She’s worried about a BANK’s property being trespassed. A BANK that has left the property in ruin due to neglect, and couldn’t care less how it affects the neighborhood. Truly, this bored woman needs to get a hobby.
Her cats ran off to get away from her constant complaining.

The bank will be loving the free maintenance as it will likely end up in an auction sale once they've taken full ownership of it.

Its a rare day when you will find a sketchy person working as hard as you do.

She was pissed because now she has no reason to call the city to complain about the grass
Why go thru all that BS!? Just cut it. SMH 😂😂
"...city-owned private property,..."
There is no such thing as city owned private property.

I see the same thing time and time again in Jeff Grey (Gray?) videos (HonorYourOath Civil Rights Investigations) when he stands on public property, usually a sidewalk, and holds his cardboard sign, waving at people, calling out "God bless the homeless veterans" and wishing people a good day.

Sad!!
I love all these cops are familiar with the UA-cam lawn care gig and supportive 😂
Good luck Bladez from 🇬🇧
This is SO nice of you both! The world needs more of you.
The volume those cicadas can put out is amazing. Now you’ll have to add to your ‘merch line a t-shirt that says, “I may look sketchy, but I’m just here for the lawn.”
Yes that's awesome!
Better yet, "I'm not breaking the 'law'n, I'm cutting it!"
might steal that one lol
@@allanmowz my friend for all you do for your communities it is my gift to you put it on a T-shirt and make a mint

Brilliant! 😊
Since it was not the lady’s property, what business is it of hers? She should be thankful for what you do. Shame on her. Thank you Al and Charles for what you do for neighborhoods.

Some people can only exist by creating drama to distract them from themselves
Big facts
So sorry that this nosy neighbor interfered with your gracious work! Thank you for the work you do to beautify neighborhoods! Special man!
Hey Al, Don't let her bother you, she's just a nosy, jealous person with an abandon house next door with a yard that looks WAY better than hers.
😬
YES!!
I think the old saying, "No good deed goes unpunished" applies here. You have so much heart!
Al you were WAY nicer than she deserved, she was just being a busy body and trying to cause trouble. SHAME on her!!
Tell this woman hello from all of us we love her for being so kind.
Reminds me of Gladys on the TV show Bewitched! "Abner! Abner! There's guys beautifying the house next door. LET'S CALL THE COPS ON THEM!"
Oh wow!
I can watch these two work all day, they do amazing work!!
Out here, we'd call her a Karen, always minding other's business, not her own. You and Charles provide so much help to the community.
I do love how one neighbor is nice and chill and the other neighbor literally call the cops.
Agreed. Not enough people are commending the good neighbour.
Please don’t let the neighbour put off your vital and needed care and kindness to people who in the main can’t help themselves or afford help, I certainly admire you both😊
You’re so awesome Al!!! Don’t let people’s ignorance alter your kindness.
He was so sweet to ask her if she wanted him to edge her yard up after she called the police ❤
He better than me.

Not a lane, the gutter.
How dare you beautify the neighborhood.😇 Al, you restore my faith in humanity after seeing "neighbors" like that.
Amen!
Miss America has the nerve to call you both "sketchy "? You both are awesome and I appreciate all you do.
You’re saving the owner from getting tickets, making the neighborhood look much better, helping lots of people who can’t do it themselves, etc…. She should be grateful!
Tickets??
They give you tickets for letting your grass grow too long, in the land of the Free?😊
@@MrBollocks10 yes, with fines. They fined me more than $2000 because I couldn't keep up with the yardwork. It was paid out of the proceeds when the house was foreclosed on (mortgage payment went from $900 to $3000 a month, my credit cards had lower interest rates than the house.) they bought it for more than I owed so I made $1000 on the deal. A few months later the whole mortgage industry went belly up.
Do you get tickets in America for not keeping your yard tidy, does your grass have to be a certain length?.
@@franceslillingston2641 , depends on where you live. Some towns/cities have laws where yards have to be kept reasonably clean. Out in the country, most likely there aren't any rules about how long your grass can grow.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that two men are cleaning up an over grown yard that will deter pests and crime and or prevent a grass fire, does she not know what a lawn mower sounds like? Y'all did an amazing job as usual.
That's what I thought, too 😂😂😂💚💚
