I ordered from J&P, wish the roses I received looked as pretty. Mine looked abused. Thanks for showing the unwrapping, at least I know now what my roses should have looked like.
@@TheRoseGeek I hear they changed ownership. I did call them and they immediately said they would send me two new roses, however 1 was out of stock so I had to go with another. They still haven't shipped them so not sure how these will do either. I'm in zone 9 and we get hot quick.

I ordered three roses from J&P on sale this year. Two did wonderfully. One slowly died. I contacted them twice. Once as it as dying and they offered advice. Then again when it was clear it would not survive. They said it fell within their one year warranty. They didn’t refunded my money, but did quickly generate a store credit.
Approaching 400 roses! You're a maniac! I love it!!! 😀 Betty Boop will be pretty in a vase! OMG I love double easy orange! That is music to my ears - the color, the double, and perfect for container!

I ordered 5 climbing roses 9 years ago from Jackson and Perkins. In these 5 roses only 1 of them, 1 of them only blooms 4 flowers in all these years, 1 of them blooms after 7 years, 1 of them never blooms only green leaves so I took it out. I am going to take out the one who only blooms 4 flowers in 9 years. Your information is really valuable information for me to shopping online for those roses. I would think and think again for if I will ever order any rose from Jackson and Perkins.
Thank you for introductions of all these experiences and it helps me a lot to avoid the bad experiences I have had. Your videos are very helpful for me to buy and choose more healthy roses from better nurseries to restart my rose garden. Thank you a lot!

This series is so informative! I wish I had found these before I put my 7 David Austins in the ground. I would have inspected them more carefully. Have you ever ordered from antique rose emporium?
Thanks so much! Yes, I bought from them last year. I plan to buy from them next season as I think they have sold out of everything I needed. They are similar in size to High Country and Northland if you saw those reviews I posted.

@@TheRoseGeek fantastic! I’m relatively new to roses but have been gardening for decades. I find as I approach 55 I’m completely understanding the little old ladies who prefer to tend roses and read. I’ve given over half of my vegetable beds to flowers this year.. notably peonies and roses. I’m putting thirty in the ground this season and already planning for fall. I wondered if I was losing my mind, but it’s been a consolation to find people like you. At least I have good company!
@@awesomepossumstudios8976 I feel completely the same. Out of your thirty you’ll have to share your favorites after the bloom season. You might have one that I have to add to my garden 😀

The roses you received from J & P are much larger than those they sent me.
These were monsters. By chance did you get the same variety? Did they have any damage from shipping?
@@TheRoseGeek I purchased the HT "St. Patrick" and the Grandiflora "Simply Magnificant". There were green, healthy, and packaged well, no damage, but look puny compared to what you were holding.

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. I removed the file because vendors were reaching me and upset about the comparison. I am trying to figure out the best way to get the information to everyone and may just leave it within the video for view. Maybe a summary video each year? I am still pondering....
