I find these videos to be absolutely helpful and beneficial, and I thank you sincerely for taking the time to do these videos. All vendors are not the same and there are some pretty bad ones out there. I just ordered a rose from J&P - still waiting on it's arrival, but am hoping my experience with them is a positive one. Thank you again.

While JP roses are more expensive than some, if you want until the end of April they have sales, example mix and match 4 for $80. Their Never Been Redder is one of my favorite as it can last for a week as a cut flower, has dark green leaves, and is a vigorous grower.

I ordered from JP this last year because my mother only had JP roses many years ago. Unknown to me at sometime ago JP was bought out by Parks. I got one bare root climber that was completely dried out. It was in a box without any plastic or moist newpaper. I planted it anyways. This early spring when pruning so many of the canes are dead, hopefully it makes it. JP is not the same company it use to be, so sad.

So happy I found this video! I’ll have to search your channel for planting tips. I just ordered 2 Blaze of Glory climbing roses from J&P for my garden entryway. I’ve never done roses, really pretty new to flowers besides peonies, wildflowers and clematis so hoping these take off, I was dreaming of these for a year!

Your reviews are extremely helpful. As consumers we need real people letting us know what to expect from the company's we source our products from. Your videos not only give us price difference but options in size of plants. Companies will do a much better job when they are being rated with real facts about their products. The easy to understand way you rate these helps so much and I would like you to keep making videos. Maybe rating shrubs and other products. I can't tell you how much it means that you take your time to help others so we don't make bad purchases and get put off by gardening. It really does make a difference. ☺🍀

Your most welcome. Love the organisation. Something I'm not good at so I use other people's methods.

WOW. iI just opened my order of bare root roses from Jackson Perkins. 1. My order arrived with completely dry roots. The outer plastic was not sealed, but it also appears the roots were dry before packing, as the roots were stiff and pointing out horizontally or at oddly bent angles that would make planting difficult. 2.The stems were mostly green, but covered in dried mud, and all of the plants showed evidence of very rough handling when dug up. 3. One rose, Jane Goodall, was clearly a grade 2, due to having only one stem. 4. I can't be sure, but I suspect rose gall on at least two of the roses that had misshapen and tangled roots. I really love your unboxing videos, and saw your unboxing of Jackson Perkins after I had already ordered from them. It now seems to me that the very strange root positions of one or more of the roses you received, should have been a clue that the roses were left to dry out with roots in bent and horizontal positions, before they were ever packed for shipment. I hope you will consider revising your review of Jackson Perkins if you agree that the positioning of the dried out roots are evidence of a failure to pack the roses before they had a chance in dry out in horizontal or bent angles prior to packing. I hope JP will refund the cost of my order. I sent them numerous photos. I have learned so much from your unboxing videos. Thank you! Next year, Palatine!

Excellent videos, Kimberley. You have the best channel for rosarians who place medium to large online orders. Per your recommendation, I did find a Sonnenwelt from Dawn at All My Thyme in Washington this March. Thank you so much!

I received my order from J&P 2 weeks ago, I ordered Sweet Rose of mine (the canes were small) and Double Easy Orange. I am looking forward to see the blooms.

I was eyeing "Like No Other" and "Sweet Rose of Mine," can't wait to see how they are doing in your garden :)
Sad story, my credit card that used to pay for J&P reserved order had a fraudulent charge so it got canceled. J&P's handling is to cancel my order then reorder using new payment. When they did it, my Disland was out of stock :( Don't know if I can get it next year, the lady helping me on the phone apologized repeatedly (very kind of her, she must have sensed my extreme disappointment.) The rest 11 roses I received were all pretty wet (luckily) to my surprise because they were 10 days in transient. I hope yours will do fine when planted although dry for now.

    Jackson Perkins is horrible.
They have turned off all the comments on their videos. If not they would be flooded with negative comments. Just like they have at the Better Business Bureau and Dave’s Garden. Avoid.

That is sad that they turned off comments. I will leave your comment so that other can be warned. Thank you for watching.

I bought 13 roses too when I open the box I was shocked 8 roses was mold and dieback and 5 of them was small and we sent them the pictures to customer service they said it was ok they cannot do anything all 8 roses turn all black and mold all over roses we have to put in the trash. It was horrible company.
