🌹 3-Month Potted Rose Review on 29 Bands & 1-2 Gallon Pots (Performance Check-in)

- This is a 3-month check-in on the size and health of the 29 potted roses and bands I unboxed from 12 vendors this spring.
Please keep in mind that their performance and size measurements are subject to the heat and humidity of zone 7b, a high salinity and heavy clay environment where every planting hole receives gypsum and Espoma Biotone, plant support stands and approximate measurements.
(UPDATE 1) After a viewer correctly informed me that the roses in the video from A Reverence for Roses are rose bands and not 1-gallon potted roses, the tables in this video have been corrected. And this makes their size even more impressive.
UPDATE 2: Golden Valley was Incorrectly listed as a Band when it is a 1-Gallon Potted Rose. This update was not fixed in this video, but will be corrected in next week’s video summarizing ALL of my Rose Vendor Recommendations.

You’re so right about having something to tide you over the July dormancy. I have Casablanca lilies and gardenias to fill the void and the fragrance is amazing. I wish I could have a hydrangea walk like yours! They’re stunning!
@@TheRoseGeek I have overwintered frost king in a large pot. It’s a landscape variety with smaller flowers than the tropical variety. This year I added swan queen, which has larger flowers and foliage and is supposed to be hardy to zero. I think you *need^ a gardenia in your beautiful garden, Kim.💗

Two of the roses I bought from Heirloom,seem to be dying.They had black spot since I got them ,but I’ve taken the sick leaves but has stopped growing leaves.zI’m very sad..I have seven more,Hope I won’t lose myinvestment

Is it fair to measure and compare different rose classifications? Plum Perfect is a floribunda. DAs are modern shrub roses. They all have different growing behaviors.
