I love these tires. I run them on all my trucks and they perform great. I run them on a Chevy Colorado and do lots of off roading and they perform great. Alot or guys in jeeps are impressed with how much stuff ive gone through with these tires. Ive gone through snow storms, driven on sandy beaches, muddy logging raods and they are great.
Thank you lot for this video! After 7 years using G012 decided to buy G015 on Range Rover and thanks to your review to erase all doubts! Wishing you well!
This is one of the most balanced and informative reviews on an all weather tire I've ever watched. It was bang on my general all weather tire experience and all the research I've done. Even if you're not sure if Geolander G015s are perfect for your vehicle,OR sure if all weather tires are right for you, rewatch this and listen to the general advice again.EVERY all weather tire is a compromise but you have to weigh the compromises against your actual needs and whether you can live with them. If you live in New England and need the best winter tire or plan to do a lot of mudding and can afford to run multiple sets of tires then make sure to do your research before jumping on ANY all weather tire. I never just trust the marketing, but if you read all the reviews from multiple sources and focus on what matters most to you i.e. hwy noise, tread life, ice and snow traction, etc., and the vast majority of the reviews lean one way its likely true. In physics every time you gain something there is always a tradeoff.Excellent review, I thought the advice was spot on !
I already have 2,000 kilometers on my G015's, on my 2016 Jeep Patriot. I agree with all your points. I have the confidence to go from point A to B and no road, weather or terrain condition can stop me. I do light off-roading and the performance is great. Great video!
Iv'e watched all of your videos for the G015 tires. I currently have BF Goodrich K02 tires and I put 73,000 miles on them on my Silverado 1500. It's time for a new set. Your videos have convinced me to give the Yokohama's a try. I ordered a set and should have them installed early next week. Thanks for the terrific and detailed reviews.
Thanks for the video, i feel the same way about these tires, currently i have 130,000 km's on a set and probably could get another 20,000 km out of them but am replacing them with a new set just because i have a couple slow leaks (nails) in two of them and thought i might as well just put new ones on. This will be my third set in a row and have every reason to stay with these quality tires. I've had these on f150 trucks
Best review I've ever seen for any tire...thank you for taking the time to give this great review to tens of thousands of people!! After a lot of research I'll be getting these on my Suburban later this year.
Rocket Scientist, great review! I just put the same tires on my 2014 Ram 1500. These are not my first Yokohama tires and probably not my last. I had them on another truck I had a few years back that I plowed with. Never had a bad thing to say about them and after 70,000 miles I sold them as used for $100 each. I tried Nitto Grappler 2 on this truck that I replaced the factory Goodyear's with. The Nitto's are junk and have NO longevity at all and were very expensive. Like you, I live in an area that mother nature throws every thing she has at you, Snow, rain, heat and cold, Upstate NY and the Nitto's have NO snow traction at all. Your review really swayed me in the direction of the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015, 275x65x20. Thanks for taking the time to let other know, or remind them what a good product Yokohama tires are. Thanks again for your time.
I just past my first 6k miles on these tires and got the first tire rotation. So far they seem to work great. I purchased them after watching your reviews. Nicely done
They may not be dedicated mud tires, but you would be surprised what you can get through with a Geolandar A/T. I'm on my second set. First were on an 06 Jeep Liberty CRD. Got me out of a mudhole surprisingly well. My current set are on an 08 Grand Cherokee CRD. I'll be putting G015s on when this set are done.
great review ! I have these on my 91 Suzuki Sidekick and the performance is amazing. where I was using tire chains to go ice fishing with my K2's , I went to the same location with even more snow and went in without chaining up. they're such a smooth handling tire be it on dry,wet or snow covered roads I'm putting the same tires on my 03 Silverado this Friday. 👍
Loved the review; very nice job. Good mix of factual info, a reasonable amount of personal opinion, and a bit of humor, all delivered very effectively with a common sense approach.
Really good review my man,I'll be getting these Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 for my 08 Sequoia Limited 5.7L 275-65-18 here in New Jersey, for the money I'm pretty convinced that these tires are the best overall performing tire for the rain and snow...
Picked these up due to this video. I had yokos on my sedan. I bought that last car used. The guy had yokos on them. I didn’t even change the tires by the time I got rid of the car. Had plenty of tread 4 years later no cracks. I don’t abuse my cars or race em or anything. It was just an a to b car. Before that I had to get tires every 2 years from cooper to continental. Those tires got me through 4 winters. I got a newer truck for the northeast and ditched the sedan. I wanted to see if yoko had any options and your video helped me make an informed decision. I got these on my truck and couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait for the first snow as I only really got to test them in downpours and flooding and a little mud. Incredible so far. I think I’m sticking with Yokohama’s for good.
Thank you for the review. I was bouncing between Michelin LTX A/T2 ORW, Cooper Discoverer A/T3 or Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 OWL. You cemented my choice again thanks.
Really appreciate your review. Looking to replace the Geolandar A/T-S tires on my '01 Durango - best tires I've ever had, and they've lasted 85K miles.
Have a 2014 VW Tiguan with 4motion. Was super impressed my first winter on a set of Pirelli Scorpion STRs. This winter the first snow I was spinning and skidding everywhere, very frustrated. Then I realized my Scorpions were down to the 2/32 bar (@ ~48,000 miles), whoops! Been browsing Tire Rack like a mad man the last few days, pulled the trigger on the G015s and can't wait to try them, was going to go back to the Scorpions but they were a little pricey and weren't the exact same model as my current ones anyway. Just like you say in your video, I'm not an off road junkie but do want to get from point A to point B with whatever weather is thrown at me, especially snow in western PA. Based on the reviews and what I've read I am really looking forward to these fulfilling that and lasting a long time too. Thanks for the review, looking forward to the 10,000 update.
Thanks for taking the time to post this. I was pretty much decided on these anyway and your sensible and honest review has put any doubts out of my head. Jeep WK crd. Greetings from. England
The flat spots from sitting in the winter is due to the use of nylon belts instead of polyester belts. But great review. 👍 I have a set of p metrics on my f150 (came on the truck when purchased) and have 0 complaints with traction. Going to upgrade to lt tires before winter and can't wait to see how they compare to p metrics
Just got em and WOW what a difference quality tires make!! Time will definitely tell, but day one, I can see how differently the Sequioa rides compared to the junk moetly crew I was riding on.😎👍🏻
I have an 08 Sequoia Limited 5.7L (275-65-18) here in New Jersey and after doing all my research it's going to be the Yokohama Geolandar AT G015,for the money they really seem like the best overall performing tire especially in the snow and rain...
Nice job! Even 4 years after your review, I think these are still thought of as one of the better mild all-terrain tires on the market - good if you want something for your pickup or SUV that’s a bit more aggressive than a highway-type tire, but you don’t want the noise of a more chunky A/T like the BFG K02. I bought a set today for my 2007 Tacoma, in P265/75-16, to replace the Michelin Defender LTX M/S-2 that I’d run for years, and, after an initial 10-mile expressway test, initial impressions are good. Noise level is no higher than the Michelins, and bump absorption seems to be even better (though the old Michelins were pretty worn, so that could be down to the fact that the new tires have more rubber on them). Steering effort is slightly increased - perhaps on the order of 10-15%, which I like. We’ll see how they do, long-term.
@@johnmpifer Hey man, how is the highway commute on the geolandars? I have a 2 door JL Wrangler with BFG mud terrains (very loud) and was considering the yokohama geolandars. How are you finding the road noise and comfort?
@@piemar97 no complaints, at all. I think you will find them to be far quieter than what you’re running. I have about 10,000 miles on them so far, and I like everything about them. They are no quieter than the Michelin LTX that I ran before. I am about to rotate them for the first time. It will be interesting to see how long they last. And when I rotate them, I need to check and see how much they have worn.
Thanks for the excellent review. I have had the same experience with my F150's, Jeep GC & 97' Expedition EB (in mint) purchasing all vehicles new with the Wangler junk. After that mess I switch to life long love of B.F. Goodrich KO's and Now KO2s. my kos were fine but the two sets of KO2s are wearing away at the two year mark. So I now know that you know what you are talking about,,,Moving on to Yokohama ville. Thing have changed with Wrangler GY over the years now its the same story with BF's KO2s.
I appreciate the in depth review. Tires seem like a simple thing but they're a large and very important investment. I took my Tundra in for a service today and it looks like I need to put tires on the schedule in the next few months. I got 2 years and 30k out of a set of Bridgestone Dueller H/T's. Not super pleased with that. These were recommended to me at Toyota, they stock them, and I've been comparing them with the Toyo open country at2's. I'm in the dirt often, light snow occasionally and I do value the appearance of the tire. They seem to go after the same market, its a toss up..
Great review men, and great video too, im watching you from Mexico, and im about to bought a set of this tires, and after watching your video im more sure about it,, i want it for mi 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara 4x4, theres no too much AT options for my tire size,, 235 60 R18,, thanks again
Good review. I bought these too. I have a 2016 Toyota 4 runner limited I bought in January of 2017. They came with OE Bridgestone Dueler HT 684? tires which are quiet and smooth but lack tread depth or open channels/siping to evacuate water or grab snow respectively. I drove in snow once with the Duelers...and then I took them off. So i rotate these on in the winter from November through April (RI weather) and put the Bridgestones back on for summer driving. Two different animals completely. I find that the Yoko's aren't as smooth, obviously they are an AT tire vs. a highway all season. I do find that given the more aggressive tread pattern the Yoko's are fairly quiet. They are resistant to hydroplaning and we didn't get much snow last winter so I can't comment yet. They look fantastic on my truck. I'm driving about 1,200 to 1,400 miles a month. I doubt I put more then 3,000 miles on them last winter. I have the tread depth gage you do. I can tell you it works fine. There is no wear. My only complaint is the tires seem to give me vibration for the first 5 minutes of highway driving. I have had them road force balanced three times but it could be I am just noticing the difference between driving a highway all season and an all terrain or they might take time to heat up a bit. I have experienced this with tires before where they might get so called flat spots for sitting overnight, as my Nokian tires did this too. My jury is still out whether or not I would buy them again but my decision is based on whether or not I prefer a LT Highway all season versus all terrain not so much based on these tires performance as overall they have been good thus far. I too have driven Michelin LTX on my last three vehicles so its just different. I will debate going back to those in a couple of years. I don't mind changing the tires every couple of years as I find it fun and I don't really put much money into my toyotas anyway or enhance in any way so its just what I like to do.
Was looking to get a set of tires for my GMC Canyon 4x4 and these stood out as the next tire for my truck. I'll be waiting for springtime to make the purchase since I'll be moving over 2000 miles and new tires are on the list before I go. I've bought tires from Discount Tire in the past, and you can't beat their customer service, and by all means, get the road hazard warranty!!! Used it twice and was always satisfied with the outcome. A total opposite is NTB....NEVER will I darken their doorway again.
I bought a set for my 2018 F150 for towing my trailer (27 foot 5200 pound dry weight) in the winter months down south. I knew I needed good snows for travelling in the snow/mush/wet leaving Ontario when I go south in the late winter to pick up the trailer that spends the winter in Florida. (Not this year). 2 years on I find them to be all you said and more. I did a lot of research cause down south you have very hot asphalt or concrete highways when you travel from Fla to Cali. After 15 thousand trailer miles they still look good as new and I only had to hit 4WD once to get around a wet grassy RV park. Not cheap, $217.00 CDN each before tax, but well worth the expense. Not great on ice but few are and those that are, are soft. Soft is no good on Texas concrete roads when it's 80F. Just wanted to toss my 5 cents worth in here for your readers (we don't have pennies in Canada) and happy if it helps anyone.
Just bought these for my 2017 Ram 1500.The 10 ply 121s version and what a difference from the stock wranglers that came with the truck. Better ride, better cornering, all around made my truck better than new.Mind though that these bad boys have max PSI of 80 instead of 35
I just bought these for my F150. 275/65R18 H speed rating. They are replacing Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Not really fair to compare the two but I had issues with the Nitto’s. First set was warrantied out because they couldn’t get balanced well and had high road force. The second set didn’t shake nearly has bad but after multiple attempts to get them smooth they still made the steering wheel shake. So far the Geolanders are smooth. The sidewalls definitely feel softer and I lost some cornering performance. They also do squeal in a moderately hard turn like you described. The Nitto didn’t do that. I’m waiting for rain to really test them. The Nitto had no wet traction.
@@Treyk901 Much appreciated, after reviewing a lot of really good AT tires I feel for the money the Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 is the best overall choice for my 08 Sequoia Limited 5.7L 275-65-18 here in New Jersey ....
Had a set of Yokohama AT-S on my FJ Cruiser. They were very good all around on and off road. A little rougher than stock but still good. First problem was they were awful stone throwers. Hearing stones hit the truck constantly was more than annoying. Then winter came and they were awful. Once the temperature got really cold they were downright dangerous. So I bought a dedicated set of studded winter tires and wheels. I got about 60k miles out of them (set of 5). I appears that they may have fixed all the problems I had with the AT-S. The G015 are winter rated, better side wall, better compound and I'm seriously looking at these to replace my Hancook AT-m's. These worked pretty well. Basically a little smoother than the AT-s, similar grip and just as bad on snow and ice. They lasted for the same mileage and got a little better gas milage. The big difference was no more stone throwing. How bad are the G015 regarding stone throwing?
Hi Denis! They do pick up some small stones but the tread in my size doesn't have a wide enough gap to pick up larger stones. If you go back to the video where I was driving through gravel... when I stopped I rolled back a bit and you can see how much was still stuck in the tire, as well as the approximate size of the gravel on the road. The ones that stuck are about the size of pea gravel. I didn't experience any winter problems with my AT-S's like you did. Perhaps its just a difference between our vehicles. Thanks for your comment!
Curious what kind of pressure you are running on these guys. I just bought them after your review, and am very happy so far. Thanks! I have the P rated so I am running them about 3 psi higher than the door jam sticker states. Due to salt on the roads I can’t do the chalk test here in NY yet. I know yours are probably the LT since your blocks look a bit bigger, but curious of your input over stock. This is my first set of All terrain tires, I have always run All Seasons
bloodspillbill1 My door sticker says 35psi, I like 40 better. Yes mine are LT and they are leaps and bounds better than stock Wranglers. Finally got to play in the snow and shoot some video for an update.
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us who are considering this particular set of tires. I'm a bit of a tire nut and am constantly shrugging off the urge to buy all of the tires and try them out! I do have one question for you though, are you running the factory size on your H3 or did you size up slightly? I only ask that because I'm running Cooper AT3's half a size up on my Tundra and though I really admire the look, the ride after 10k miles, isn't bad per se, but it is making me think about my next purchase, and I've never had a bad Yoko experience. But this is my first truck. Thanks again for the awesome content!
hey thanks! yep I stuck with the factory size. Had a little hiccup with the first set where we couldnt get them to balance and ended up with a full replacement set which i did another video on. Still going good with about 40k on the 2nd set.
I drive a Land Rover Discovery sport I now have a set of really great on road Michelins, but I occasionally go offroad in the desert where out here is mainly soft sand. I will get these tyres on a smaller 17" rims.
Our mini Cooper countryman all wheel drive has the at s that you use to own and they rocked in the snow. They keep traction well. They look like they are wearing a bit. I am considering the new at version on our f150
Rocket Scientist we bought the mini countryman all wheel drive used with the tires on the car. The previous owner put work into the mini with a 2 inch lift. I was lucky enough to be able to drive the car in the snow a day or so later after buying the car. I purposely tried to get the car loose on a side road with no traffic and I could not get it to break loose. The tires have wear on the outside tread of the tires. The wear is definitely from the vehicle mods and not to mention my wife's driving style. She loves her car and pushes it at times. I love how aggressive the tires look without being too rediclous. I am thinking on our truck with no modifications they should last close to what yours would last minus a few thousand miles due to off-road driving to lakes and mountain places and back country road driving. I may end up with a set of these.
Thanks dude! You're not kidding! My wife bought a 17 cherokee sport brand new and the factory tires were bald in 20k miles. I remember when factory tires were the best and lasted a very long time. Not anymore.
I have the same size tire on my 02 Tundra. After market wheels on it when I bought it. It has Hercules muds on it now and they absolutely destroy the ride. Ive narrowed it down to these or the Falken Wildpeaks AT3W’s. I think you just sold me though on these. Exactly what I need. I never go off road as much as I thought I would but, if I need to take a ruff trail through the woods to get to wherever, I’m sure these will get me through just fine. I worry mostly for road noise, highway, rain, and especially snow. I’ve had a 03 Wrangler with Kumho at51s and then Wrangler Duratracs. So if I can get through those noise wise, I’m sure these will be fine. And you make tire reviews actually enjoyable. Normally it’s some jack that says absolutely shit for nothing. Shut barely talks and doesn’t know how to talk on camera.
How bad are they picking up rocks? Putting a set on my 2013 Tiguan this fall as my ProContacts are finally almost worn out. Wanting to go with an A/T as much as I'm off the beaten path.
hello thanks for sharing your experience!! i am interested in getting these tires for my truck. i currently have bfg ko2 but was looking for something with a better ride and better fuel economy as most of my driving is city. do you have any exp with the ko2 tire and if yes how do they compare to the g015. thank you!!
I never had the KO2's, but on a previous vehicle I had the old version KO and also a set of Trail T/A's. BFG's just seemed to wear out and/or dry rot way too fast. I only got an average of 2 years out of BFG's before I had to replace them. Thanks for your comment!
watching his video to get another point of view and not for the review. I've actually owned these back in 2017 and let me say, the price has gone up about $40 per tire. So as far as price it has almost matched with other tires that are considered M/T so bang for buck is not a thing at this point in 2022 especially with all the price gouges in almost every category including gas... As far as my own personal review/opinion, these tires are perfect for light off road and like you've mentioned, rain. Rainy days are such a ease and these tires can almost do it all. off road a bit and save you gas on the road versus thick mud tires. best option out there for the average joe that wants the best out of an everyday driver vehicle.
I think you have me convinced... I'm in Canada and usually run snow tires in the winter and all seasons in the summer, but am going to try to use these year round. Have you had much experience with them on ice? Thanks.
Kevin H I got the G015's a month before posting this review, so not yet. BUT my previous set, the G012's performed outstandingly in snow and ice. I will continue to make updates as time goes on!
@ Kevin: I'm curious about their performance on ice as well. I have a set on order but I'm not sure they would handle a Montreal winter. Did you buy them and if so, how did they handle these Canadian winters?
I'm really thinking about to get a set of these yokos for my landrover disco 2. I'm kinda hardcore off-road type of guy but i have to get a comfortable set of rubber for my long journeys because those warned MT-s are hell a noise makers
Well, I'm going to buy them for Ford Transit. Rear would be 225/75 and I wonder if I should get the same for front (it's RWD) or go with 205/80. Rims are 16" and 6,5" width. What do you think?
Maciej Załucki I've never been a fan of different size tires. I know people do that, but for a transit it might adversely effect handling, center of gravity, gas mileage, the whole smash.. I'd stick to factory size, or at least all 4 same size. Tirerack.com has a nifty calculator where you can see how each tire size effects your speedometer as well.

Most sites don't have transit or have values for just a vew versions and there were a lot of them. Original tyres for mine are 215/75 but there are no all-season A/T tyres for it (it has to have load index 113 or more on rear axle to be legal). That's why I decided to go for 225/75 (/70 also not available). I'll get some measurements to see if it will fit on front axle but it should be quite similar. after all it's just 7mm adde to diameter.
I can't find these in an LT metric size 275/55R20 annoyingly. Only standard.. The big difference is that the LT has tons more tread 12/32 vs 17/32 for the LT
Anyone have any info on H versus V rating for these? My shop buy said H rated are more expensive per tire, but I wanted to check others' opinions, experience...
I have a 2 Wheel Dr., Honda passport and I'm going to be needing new tires soon, I do not go off road every once in a while I might have to drive through the grass or a little bit of dirt but it's 99% pavment would you recommend these tires for city driving. The tires that came on the vehicle are going to last maybe 35,000 miles I would like something that would last considerably longer. We do get a lot of rain where I live and a little snow.
These would probably be great for you! For a 2wd passport, you might consider the P-Metric version.. Less expensive, and a little less truck-like ride.
Thanks for taking the time to review these. Im looking to replace my factory yokahama geolanders that came with the pajero, i live in western australia and use the 4wd for camping trips and beach access. id say its like 95% Highway and 5% sand driving, but sometimes its deep soft sand. Have you tried these tires in sand much?
I love these tires. I run them on all my trucks and they perform great. I run them on a Chevy Colorado and do lots of off roading and they perform great. Alot or guys in jeeps are impressed with how much stuff ive gone through with these tires.
Ive gone through snow storms, driven on sandy beaches, muddy logging raods and they are great.

Thanks so much! Hope you enjoy them!
Thank you for the review. I was bouncing between Michelin LTX A/T2 ORW, Cooper Discoverer A/T3 or Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 OWL. You cemented my choice again thanks.
Thanks for the video. Will be buying these for my Rav4.
Yeah, good review.
My wife's Tribeca is going to ride great during the summer up here in Alaska.
The tires should be here in a week.
Just ordered my first set for my 2012 forester ! Great review!
Really appreciate your review. Looking to replace the Geolandar A/T-S tires on my '01 Durango - best tires I've ever had, and they've lasted 85K miles.
Mike McGraw maybe that's why they quit making them.. They are too good!
Paul Reilly soon as I get some snow! Thanks!
Great review. Thanks for your honesty and reasonable approach to a tire review.
Just got me some new ones for my Mitsubishi Outlander and the tires run really smooth and quiet on the road. Great tires!!
Very well done mine will be delivered nest Tuesday and after your video I can't wait. Going on 2020 Siverado LT
Thank you and enjoy!
This is hilarious, I am putting them on my Corolla with a 40mm ebay lift kit!! Can't wait for TireRack to get them delivereddd
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to make it. I was between a set of these and a set of BFG K02 and now I rather get these instead.
Very well done video!!! You seem like a professional. Putting these on my gmc 1500 next week.
Nope! Just a regular guy.. Thank you!
Great reviews, Im getting same tires on 3 of my vehicles, ‘16 Tundra 4wd, ‘18 Highlander, ‘09 Venza
I'm thinking bout buying these so I appreciate the review. Great job!
Very interesting video and very helpful good editing as well
All the best with your channel
Just got em and WOW what a difference quality tires make!! Time will definitely tell, but day one, I can see how differently the Sequioa rides compared to the junk moetly crew I was riding on.😎👍🏻
Nice! Post an update after a bit.. Let us know how they're working out for ya!
We’ll see how they do, long-term.
how was the tire now after half year? I really thinging get set of yokohama as my next tire on my qx4
@@jonathanho699 They’re doing well. No complaints.
@@jonathanho699 Check back with me in a few years. I am about to move, and my daily commute will be almost 100 miles total, of highway miles.
And when I rotate them, I need to check and see how much they have worn.
this is an excellent real life review!
They seem to go after the same market, its a toss up..
electropentatonic Thank you! So far so good. Coming up on that 10k mark soon..
Thanks so much!
Great video. I just bought them. Putting on my 2019 GMC Sierra Denali..
Just bought them, nice review!
Great review, picking up the 17s for my trailblazer
Very Good and honest video. Thanks to your video I have a clear view of what to purchase.
Glad they're working out for you! Safe travels!
Great detailed video, now I want to try out these tires for sure! :D
Next tires are going to be Yoko AT G015 or Falken AT3W. Had the Yoko AT-S and they were wonderful.
Just bought these for my 2017 Ram 1500.The 10 ply 121s version and what a difference from the stock wranglers that came with the truck.
Better ride, better cornering, all around made my truck better than new.Mind though that these bad boys have max PSI of 80 instead of 35
I'm convinced anything is better than stock wranglers. Maybe on some vehicles but on mine they were dangerous.
Hows the wet traction???
@@mercedesbenzs600bash wet traction on the geolanders is very good. Some of the best I’ve had on a truck.
@@Treyk901 Much appreciated, after reviewing a lot of really good AT tires I feel for the money the Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 is the best overall choice for my 08 Sequoia Limited 5.7L 275-65-18 here in New Jersey ....
I just put a set of 285/70R17 on my 2005 Chevy 1500HD and I'm loving them so fare. Thanks for the video...
Great video even 4 years later! Great commentary as well. Hahaha
Thank you! I really do need to start making videos again.
getting them put on my Landcruiser tomorrow... thanks, good review.
Anything to comment on? did you like them?
I'm sold! Gonna see about getting them on my next day off.
Great review.
Just purchased a set
Great review on these tires, while watching certain camera angles it looks as though you may require a shock replacement though.
I'd be surprised, they were still brand new when I shot the vid. They still feel new to me.. What time on the video?
Excellent video! Thank you!
Bro
thanks for good review/video 👍
Great review, thanks! I've just watched this through and will now order a set for my Ford Ranger. Loved your idiot-o-meter/radar. They're out there...
Thanks so much!
I drive a Land Rover Discovery sport I now have a set of really great on road Michelins, but I occasionally go offroad in the desert where out here is mainly soft sand. I will get these tyres on a smaller 17" rims.
Love mine on my 04 Element.
Our mini Cooper countryman all wheel drive has the at s that you use to own and they rocked in the snow. They keep traction well. They look like they are wearing a bit. I am considering the new at version on our f150
Jay Chapman never thought I'd say this, but I actually want it to snow so I can try these out!
Great video! You and I see eye to eye. We have the same needs and driving style. The tires that came on my 2018 Grand Cherokee suck wet dog fur.
Thanks dude! You're not kidding! My wife bought a 17 cherokee sport brand new and the factory tires were bald in 20k miles. I remember when factory tires were the best and lasted a very long time. Not anymore.
For sure
Hey thanks!
Rocket Scientist keep em coming!
How’s the highway performance? High speed stability?
Excellent. I travel highways every day and typically stay around 80mph.
Thank you I appreciate the review
You're quite welcome!
Great video and review thanks!
Have a set ordered for my 4wd Sportage. Gonna take em up to the Rockies and do some mild off roading. Notice a change in mpg at all?
Sirbuddy14 mpg got slightly better, but not much. Less than 1 mpg.
How bad are they picking up rocks? Putting a set on my 2013 Tiguan this fall as my ProContacts are finally almost worn out. Wanting to go with an A/T as much as I'm off the beaten path.
There will always be some rocks no matter what, but it's not too bad.
hello thanks for sharing your experience!! i am interested in getting these tires for my truck. i currently have bfg ko2 but was looking for something with a better ride and better fuel economy as most of my driving is city. do you have any exp with the ko2 tire and if yes how do they compare to the g015. thank you!!
I never had the KO2's, but on a previous vehicle I had the old version KO and also a set of Trail T/A's. BFG's just seemed to wear out and/or dry rot way too fast. I only got an average of 2 years out of BFG's before I had to replace them. Thanks for your comment!
So you have the white lettering on the inside. So I'm guessing these are non-directional?
The Geolandar A/T G015 vs Continental TerrainContact AT? Best AT tires+lowest road noise?!
watching his video to get another point of view and not for the review.
For any 2wd guys out there I got a 95 Chevy s10 with the g80 locker and I run these and do great launching boats with it
Hey mate. Great video. How are they keeping up since you've purchased them?
Just did an update at 17,000 miles. Had some problems but all taken care of!
I'm really thinking about to get a set of these yokos for my landrover disco 2. I'm kinda hardcore off-road type of guy but i have to get a comfortable set of rubber for my long journeys because those warned MT-s are hell a noise makers
any updates on your replacement pair? Also are you on your stock OEM size?
Yep, stock size. So far so good!
Rocket Scientist thanks for all your reviews on this tire. It’s really entertaining and informative!
Ocena komentarzy użytkowników opon, bardzo dobra. Muszę szukać opony pod swój styl jazdy. Bardzo mi pomogłeś dzięki!
you're very welcome!
Thank you for having common sense.
very good review good work
are these tires louder than a regular all season tires when you’re driving on the parkway?
Paul DE GUZMAN Too many variables to give you a straight answer on that one. Depends on which all season tire, vehicle, road conditions.. Etc.
I'm deciding between these and the Michelin LTX FORCE. Anyone care to help with some insight?
Yes I am buying these for my truck
BALBIR Singh Do it! Lemme know what you think after a while
Rocket Scientist great tyres
I can't find these in an LT metric size 275/55R20 annoyingly. Only standard.. The big difference is that the LT has tons more tread 12/32 vs 17/32 for the LT
They do make a car version of this tire for use in all wheel drive passenger cars.
Anyone have any info on H versus V rating for these? My shop buy said H rated are more expensive per tire, but I wanted to check others' opinions, experience...
Dan Clark Not sure but I don't think they offer a V speed rated G015. That's up to 149 mph. Seems awfully damn fast for a tall 4x4 tire.
@@RocketScientist what is p metric version ?
do you know if 245 70 R17 will fit an unmodified 2014 grand cherokee?
Jose Cabrita depends on what rims you have. Just googling around on it, that is one of the stock tire sizes for the Laredo.
Thanks for your comment! No I haven't driven in soft sand with them and probably won't try it.
How are they holding up now? And where are they made?
Had a balancing issue a while back. See the next update video after this one. Made in one of 2 USA manufacturing plants as far as I am aware.
Are they 4season?
How are the Tires now ? - about to try them
still decent! got a new vehicle so havent been driving the hummer as much..
