This is the best chair dance video I have found on UA-cam. The rest of them, the moves are so small and slow, same few moves repeated too much, you don't really get a cardio workout, but you do with this video. This one will get your heart rate up, which is the goal. Lots of fun moves, real dance moves, and not too many repetitions. Yes, there is one move which has you lifting both feet at once, but be careful. Just lift one foot at a time if you have back issues.
I agree with Shelly. I think I have tried 500 to 600 chair dance videos and they are LAME. No dancing, just same few physical therapy moves done to music. Do another one, Lauren!!!
This workout really surprised me. I thought I’d be taking the morning really easy but I think I sweated more with this one and many of the others. I am very uncoordinated but I actually felt like I was dancing. Great job. Thanks for the new video.

I set myself a target to loose 5 inches from my waist I am dieting as well Thanks to all these exercises I have lost an inch from my waist and one and a half inches from my hips I also feel better mentally Thank you Lauren you are inspiring

I feel I'm getting good exercise still, even though I now rely on more chair related workouts as my condition progresses. Thanks for making it fun and keeping me wanting to come back for more! Lower back pain has been giving me grief, but by the end of doing a few workouts it was almost gone. You definitely help me to keep keeping on!

I have to say that I was hesitant to even watch one of your videos because of the name of your YT channel. I am not a senior yet, but on my way. So, I have been looking for exercises that could meet my needs and thank you...I finally found it! I had two major back surgeries about 10 years ago and have many titanium parts and I cannot do twisting exercises or bend from the waist and touch the floor. I was able to sort thru your videos and found many that I can use...yay! If there is something that I can't do in the workout, I just omit it or do one of the exercises over again. Thank you for being so pleasant and taking the time to make these videos. Hugs to you!!💜

This was great and exactly what I needed. After isolating for 3 years and never getting covid, I went to a birthday party with a few friends in March and - you guessed it - got covid. I was sick for only a couple of weeks but it sure zapped my energy and I'm slowly working my way back into exercising.

I regularly use some of Lauren's workouts as my "end of day" routine, so this one I did all the moves standing which gave me a low impact mild cardio and dynamic stretch routine - enjoyed it and I feel great. All credit to you Lauren - I'm now off to bed, goodnight! :)

Yes, that would be fun! A few of the foot work steps (forward & back) wouldn't have the same range of motion because the ball would be in the way. But that's only a few moves. Give it try, I'd love to hear how it works out :)
You absolutely can do this everyday if you want to. Though, I would recommend adding in some strength training either after this workout a few days a week or on alternate days. :)

I'm 70 and half years old...I have some osteoporosis (I don't know in what part of my body because my doctor found out in my last blood test but definitely I have to have a bond density to be more sure...So in my case I have to be very careful with the exercises that I can perform.... Well, I have a neuromuscular movement disorder, Dystonia, and this exercise was actually quite fun! I'm short and overweight, now with an issue with my heart for this past year we've been investigating. I did this exercise on a yoga ball, and let me tell you, that was a challenge and a half! lol! I've only just done this exercise once, just now, but I've been following your walking workout here, ua-cam.com/video/WykJoIt9GLM/v-deo.html, which on some days I find hard. This sitting workout is just the thing I need for days like today, when pain and physical exhaustion prevents me from doing your other workout. I actually don't feel exhausted from this sitting workout, whereas my heart issues leave me feeling exhausted and with purple lips and toes when I do the other one when exhausted. I'm so glad I found this video so I can switch between them, thank you so much! I actually even feel a little energized, which is something I haven't felt in years. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You've made losing weight and getting into shape so much easier for me!
Sorry but is is BERY DIFFICULT FOR SENIORS. No thank you and I won't recommend it for seniors. There is no rest time. A order person will die from heartattack.. sorry lady this is for you.😒

I'm sorry Khadijah but age has no bearing on whether or not this workout is suitable- I'm an extremely fit 64 year old who used to run regularly until May 2021. I have been working out with Lauren for over a year and both my strength and cardio fitness have improved greatly. For me this workout is a challenge but extremely doable. Lauren has plenty of beginner and seated workouts which you should find more suitable
