Me and my wife spent liberty day serving democracy, I made sure to spend it in service fighting the clankers on vernen wells and martale and she made sure to take our son to all of the liberty day festivities. her tenis instructor mark was also there and they we're having fun praising democracy they were clapping at super earths greatness and saying things like sweet liberty and it feels so good, "It" being the light of liberty of course. life is great, nothing is wrong, can't wait for next year.

We’re certain that Earth exists, because without it, Sol wouldn’t be a thing. We also can’t find any other galaxy like it, because it’s a one-of-a-kind. Plus, how could Super Earth experience the same war 120 times? It should be impossible to have that happen unless in a limbo.

My great great grandfather fought in this war, and died before it ended. Then my great grandad join the war near the end with the illuminate, luckily he returned him, my father served in the military as a SEAF trooper, in the time of piece but was inspired by his father and grandfather inspiring new recruits and sculpting them in soldiers now. Now my time has come to fight in the 2nd war. And today on freedoms day. I wear the same armor my great great grandad wore today. I know they would be proud today. FOR DEMOCRACY!!!
My grand father ( younger me) fought in the first galactic war for freedom. He was weirdly strong even after the ripe age of 90. When i made the biggest commitment of my life, it was the proudest hes ever been.
Nope. The DP-00 Tactical helmet and armor and the R-2124 Constitution with a bayonet are the rewards for celebrating Liberty Day. Which are now available for every Helldiver
I've played the simulations of the first Galactic war, somehow giving me even more respect for the veteran heroes of freedom. All helldivers and super citizens should keep up with their great history so we know what we are trying fighting for, awesome video helldiver. May democracy protect you for many years to come.
When i was a young boy, I grew up close to my grandfather's old folks center. He was abit of senile old man, but he never faulted in recalling his times from the First Galatic War, both the good and the bad memories alike. His patriotic ferver and spirit inspired me to be the best citizen i could be growing up. So, soon after my 18th birthday, when Super Earth declared special military operations against the bots and bugs, i couldnt have ran faster to my local Helldiver recruitment office. While my grandpa had sadly passed by that time, my father told me he would have been so proud of me. Ive been fighting since day one and now that this has become the Second Galatic War, i feel closer to the spirit of my grandfather. This will be the first LIberty Day that i spent away from home and my family, but the new family i have made on my Super Destroyer has allowed me some joy this year. So may i say, to all my fellow brave Helldivers out fighting across the galaxy; have a Happy Liberty Day and may the spirit of the fallen vetrens guide us to further victories against our enemies.
Speculative facts high command won't tell you. Cyborgs: augmented themselves to withstand the harsh climate of Cyberstan and complete there works, super earth bombed District 14 and blamed on Cyborgs. Bugs: were a passive species trying to communicate with super earth citizens, but super earth found out that they can be harvested for oil, so started a "war" with them, keeping there numbers at a steady level to keep farming them. Bugs evolved in relation to this. Illuminate: peaceful faction looking for galactic peace, super earth felt threatened by there more advanced technology and well were jealous. Fabricated that they had Weapons of mass destruction (WMD's) that they did not have. And so pushed them out of super earth galactic map range. Cyborgs created the Automaton, and have huge fleets outside the galactic map. The bugs home planet is not within range and is slightly out of galactic reach. Illuminates got pushed from the garlic map and are out there with a grudge most likely.
My grandfather served in this war. He loved to tell me stories about his battles. He died right before the war ended at Keplar Prime, he lost an arm and a leg before calling in a hell bomb to destroy a heavy hive. We were able to find his armor and I’ve been waiting for the chance to use it. Happy Liberty Day everyone! -Skull Admiral RangerGhost
I've heard from several sources that Super Earth is not the original Earth, or even in fact the first "New" Earth. The Federation's capital has been destroyed on multiple occasions, with the survivors going even further away from our birthplace each time to set up a new Federation.
We at the Ministry of Truth are very interested in your sources. Please detail them below so we can fact check these individuals. Also, congratulations, you won an invitation to a Freedom Camp effective immediately!
It's really impressive Super Earth was able to fight on three fronts (currently two in Helldivers 2) and win. It's not like the other factions are fighting each other as well.
My grandfather fought in the first Galactic War, it was devastating to see the Helldiver Corps. disbanded, but by the grace of Super Earth, I've been able to fight in the 2nd Galactic War as a proud Helldiver! Makin' you proud Grandpa!
Thank you for this history lesson. History is to be remembered and learned from. I may not have been born in time to serve in the 1st but i have fought proudly and served Super Earth from the very start of the 2nd GW. I salute all fellow helldivers who served as veterans in the the first galactic war and vow to honor their sacrifice as well as uphold the values, traditions and way of Super Earth life. For Super Earth and Managed Democracy!
My great-great uncle died on Klen Dahth II during the waning days of the war. The outpost he was stationed at was being overrun by bugs and he lost the lower half of his body to a particularly large one. He ended up ordering one of his soldiers to put him down. RIP.

Two hundred years later, I am now finishing what my great great grandfather started. What an amazing history lesson. I can't say i didn't know all of this. That's treason. But i do know that this liberty day recap was one of the best ways to celebrate it. FOR SUPEREARTH AND HAPPY LIBERTY DAY.
I fought in the first galactic war. Now I get flashbacks when I hear the word illuminate. And phrases from the day of massacre... I still remember all the helldivers lost that day.
My grandfather and father both found in this war, and managed to return home all alive! Ever since they've both been back, Liberty Day has been the greatest day ever... Times 100!
When I was a kid, my grandpa told me his stories about how he and my granduncles fought together and liberated the galaxy of the Bugs, Cyborgs, and Illuminates for the first time in the galactic war. They had a brief moment of peace, but according to him, they came back tougher than ever, and due to their complacency, they lost Super Earth He said that after evacuating from its destruction, they worked on colonizing and terraforming a new Super Earth as penance for their failure. When I told the others at school this story, they thought I was crazy and just laughed. Nonetheless, I continue to fight for justice and freedom, alongside my family to carry on their legacy! Happy Liberty Day! Here's to all who continue defending the galaxy to this day! Cheers! 🍾
5:26 the original super earth was not actually earth, therefore canonly it had to be destroyed in order for humanity to crawl back to earth. The original super earth was just that, a super earth. After it's destruction humanity returned to Earth.
Thank you S.E.S for teaching me the history of Super Earth. I will continue the fight to enemies of managed democracy, Super Earths enemies will fall to my bullets.
My grandfather fought in this war, may his soul find liberty, and he gave me his old rifle when he heard that I had enlisted into this one. He is the reason I still fight.
i actually prefer the idea of losing super earths in the first game...Because it kind implies the super earth democratic empire is soo vast that we get multiple super earths lol
I love this game. It's not only super fun, but it's an on point social commentary on what humans are capable of and the power of propaganda. If you listen to the super destroyer crew, announcements, and democracy officer, you hear contradictions in every sentence. If you understand the premise of this game and look for similarities in the real world, you'll find them. It's a little bit too accurate.
Slight correction for the Rise of Super Earth. But it was said that Sweden was one of the only stable nations left unaffected of the war at the time and supposedly was the one who led to formation of Managed Democracy and the Federation. It is why Prosperity City is located in Sweden, as it was formerly known as Stockholm. Regardless, origin matters little as Super Earth is all that matters, so does Managed Democray! Long live Super Earth! Long live the Federation! Länge leve Super Jorden! Länge leve Federationen!
For Liberty Day I decided to visit “Anne's Hospital For Very Sick Children” with a few Helldivers. Nothing puts a smile on my face more than seeing and inspiring the new generation of Super Earth. God bless democracy.

From what I can tell, the first original Galactic war in HD1, which was won by the Helldivers, was the canon one, and all the other ones were just for funsies.
My ship holds a memorial service for the first deployed diver each liberty day, Kia from accidentally taking himself out, been better training since then.
Not gonna lie though, (and RP aside) the Illuminates definitely didn’t have a plan to deploy the obliterator bombs. If they did, Earth would’ve been destroyed and no more Helldivers would be able to invade the Illuminates. So either they possessed them and didn’t want to resort to them, or they didn’t have them at all.
I thought that Super Earth did not have FTL until meeting the Illuminate, upon which they stole it from them because the illuminate were like "you expansionist asshats dont deserve this"
As a chaos diver…we were betrayed by the dissidents who infiltrated high command, not for a second I believe high command would betray us like that. I’ve been reinstated in assault and scout squads as soon as I turned myself in. Happy Liberty day to all and god bless Super Earth
I remember partaking in the first galactic war. It was towards the end of it but I did my part. Now over a hundred years later I have sent many clones of myself to fight in this new war.
Grandpa was so proud of me when I received and put on the replica of his old armor. We then deployed together, him in his original armor, and me in my replica. We spread freedom and democracy against both bots and bugs. Young and old, together for Super Earth. Even our old heroes continue to serve our way of life!
Most of my family were wiped out during the first war.... Only my grandpa survived and now our family is devoted to vanquish all enemy's of Super Earth.
Alright you fresh meat, You put the cape on and got into the pod. That means giving your life even if the mission might fail, desertion proves disloyalty to Super Earth, Managed Democracy and those who stood beside you. I've been here since the first galactic war and i'm still here so either don't join the Helldivers or Become the ballot casting, democracy spreading badass you were meant to be!
Let me tell you a story.. I was once a Light Mortar Support and Heavy Combat Unit in the First Galactic War (FGW). I completed four missions before being retired to return home, as my wife was pregnant. We celebrated my return and our future together, but the fighter’s spirit within me was restless. I knew I had a daughter to look forward to now, but that call to service still lingered. So, I joined the Super Earth Armed Forces (SEAF) and continued, supporting my brothers on the frontlines in heavy armor or from behind with mortars. Yet, deep down, I missed my days as a diver. Months later, after the FGW ended, Democratic Officers knocked on our door with a proposition I never expected. They told me I had been selected for the “Future Cryogenics Program.” They explained I would be frozen, held as a back-up in case the war would reignite. I asked about my family and, to my surprise, was told that they would be provided pods as well. Eager and hopeful, we agreed. A week later, we were frozen. When I awoke, I was handed a mission before I could even ask a question. They gave me my own Super Destroyer, the **Pride of War**. My assignment? To rescue the sick children. Clad in a powerful green suit of armor and wielding an even bigger gun, I was sent down with my team. My muscle memory took over, and I fought through the campaign, eventually standing as the only survivor from the start to the finish. Many divers perished quickly; others lasted through one mission only to fall in the next. After the campaign, I searched for answers. I went to my Democratic Officer and asked about my wife and daughter. The response was chilling: **“Future Cryogenic Program preserved only Helldivers and essential personnel.”** I was devastated. My family-my wife, my daughter-had been left behind, a hundred years ago. They weren’t “essential personnel.” They hadn’t been saved. I was left to finish two campaigns before I could return to Super Earth, so I fought on. Through the Terminid and Automaton fronts, I completed my duty, but not without cost. I lost an arm and a leg, replaced with cybernetic parts, but it earned me my ticket home. When I finally returned to my old address, our house was still there, just as I remembered. I knocked, and a black woman answered. She noticed I was a Helldiver and invited me in for some Liber Tea. I asked her about the previous owners, explaining that I was over 100 years old. She apologized, explaining the house had been vacant for many years, with the last owners leaving over a century ago. My wife, my daughter… I would never know what happened to them. I thanked the woman and returned to my destroyer. My next mission was my last. During an extraction attempt on E-710, we were left without reinforcements. Only another veteran from the FGW and I remained, stranded on the planet. As our extraction window closed, we were faced with a choice: run back to the Zone and face punishment for a failed mission, or stay. That’s when he told me: he wasn’t a Helldiver anymore. After Super Earth had abandoned his family, he had found another path. He told me that the Chaosdivers had given him a way out. He offered me the same, urging me to choose quickly-either kill him and try to escape or stay and join him in the chaos. I raised my rifle, hesitating. I had served Super Earth faithfully. But everything I had done for her… it didn’t seem to matter. So I lowered my rifle, tossed aside the Helldiver emblem, and stood with him as we awaited our ride-**Pelican-1**. Now I serve them. I serve those you call **Chaosdivers**. I serve True Earth-not Super Earth, but the real Earth. The one we’re fighting to restore. This story is my call to arms. Open your eyes. Don’t be fooled like we were. Join the Chaosdivers and help us bring about True Democracy and True Freedom.
I was far too young to enlist for the first galactic war but my dad served and lost his life to the Cyborgs, he was a brave man and as soon as I could, I enlisted to honour my father's legacy Long live Super-Earth
Ah yes I remember The Siege of Cyberstan, good times... Finally having my old armor and rifle back brings back so many memories of bayonet-charging packs of cyber-hounds.
When i was serving we had sticks. Two sticks and a rock for the entire platoon! And we had to share the rock! Cadets now should consider themself very lucky!
Those squids wouldn’t dare even think about breaking their treaty, not like they have much left after they’ve surrendered their technology to us, it’d be a death sentence.

17:54 only theory, isn't against super earth. I think the aliens move the bugs, program the bots, and are waiting for a chance to step into our fight
Happy Liberty Day to all divers, fighting for Freedom
Happy Liverty Day!!!!
What amazing history we have.
Happy Liberty day!
Happy Liberty Day Helldivers!
I remember the First Galactic War. Those damn Illuminate and their mind fuckery were the worst. I hope the Tanto is brought back into service. I loved that little laser smg.
Helldivers, this is the time to be with your family and remember all the things Super Earth has acomplished, Happy Liberty Day!
2:40 I didn't miss my super history classes... I just kind of forgot after diving and landing on my head a few times.
My grandfather fought in the first galactic war he inspired me to join the helldivers
11:48 "wait if high command knows exactly how illuminite tech works then why don't we have nano bots? Or integrated shield generators in our armor? Could we replicate the dark fluid if nessasary?
That's a whole lot of questions coming out of your mouth, Helldiver
"It's undemocratic technology, and since we haven't been at war for a hundred years, we've been focusing on other applications...
Unless you want to give the experimental stims back?"
“We investigated those ‘super earth’s destroyed’ rumors. We believe that there was one war, but the rest are in ‘a limbo,’ meaning the destructions might’ve been different. All we know is that one of the times Super Earth survived is a real one.” Researcher.
I my opinion, super earth, was never earth, and the federation abandoned the cradle of humanity, for 1 reason or another...
On my opinion, Super earth has never been earth, things get the prefix "old" for a reason...
@@spes_marine-42perhaps they moved their headquarters as not put the true earth in danger
We’re certain that Earth exists, because without it, Sol wouldn’t be a thing. We also can’t find any other galaxy like it, because it’s a one-of-a-kind. Plus, how could Super Earth experience the same war 120 times? It should be impossible to have that happen unless in a limbo.
1:01 NOOOOOO MY HERITAGE NO NO NO 😭 these are truly the dark parts of history this video is very democratic and truthful and I thank you for this video and I would go as far to say its your best work yet.
For super earth and democracy 🌏
For Super Earth!

My great grandfather was a helldiver in the first galactic war. I'm proud to follow in his footsteps.
10:56 “as long as the helldivers continue to fart with everything in them”
My grand father ( younger me) fought in the first galactic war for freedom.
He was weirdly strong even after the ripe age of 90. When i made the biggest commitment of my life, it was the proudest hes ever been.
I just love Helldivers
Us too
Amazing video uploaded on an amazing day!
Thank you! It's truly a Liberty Day to remember!
This is my first Liberty day, I did not knew of its reach history.
Great way to spend the day
Nope. The DP-00 Tactical helmet and armor and the R-2124 Constitution with a bayonet are the rewards for celebrating Liberty Day. Which are now available for every Helldiver
Production probably took time, but the ministry of truth still approves this ☑as mostly accurate.
4:49 Unstoppable farting force?
@@emulation2369 where else would gas strikes come from?
I've played the simulations of the first Galactic war, somehow giving me even more respect for the veteran heroes of freedom. All helldivers and super citizens should keep up with their great history so we know what we are trying fighting for, awesome video helldiver. May democracy protect you for many years to come.
Thank you, venerable Helldiver, for your most Liberated words! They are appreciated! FOR SUPER EARTH AND DEMOCRACY!
How do you get access to these simulations, I'm always looking for training materials to become better
@@wolfiethefurrygamer1908 You have to go on the GWW and purchase the training module project titled Helldivers by a training company called arowhead
This is treason you should focus on your honor and super earth
My grandfather served in this war. He loved to tell me stories about his battles. He died right before the war ended at Keplar Prime, he lost an arm and a leg before calling in a hell bomb to destroy a heavy hive. We were able to find his armor and I’ve been waiting for the chance to use it. Happy Liberty Day everyone!

Always good to have access to our glorious history
So John Helldiver served in the 1st Galactic War! Man, what a legend! Thanks for the amazing video!
Happy Liberty day, may liberty guide you ot on the frontlines, noble helldivers.
For super earth!
My great-great uncle died on Klen Dahth II during the waning days of the war. The outpost he was stationed at was being overrun by bugs and he lost the lower half of his body to a particularly large one. He ended up ordering one of his soldiers to put him down. RIP.
I hail from the western outskirts of Mega City 7 (Also known as Liberty City). My great great grandfather was lost during the first Galactic War to the Heartless toasters.
Two hundred years later, I am now finishing what my great great grandfather started.
For Super Earth and Democracy! *salute*
(On an OOC note, thank you for this awesome lore video SES, we can all see that you put a lot of pride into your work, and we are all here for it.)
What an amazing history lesson. I can't say i didn't know all of this. That's treason. But i do know that this liberty day recap was one of the best ways to celebrate it. FOR SUPEREARTH AND HAPPY LIBERTY DAY.
I lost my grandparents to the first war, that’s why I’m so strong today and have the courage to be a helldivers
You're carrying on their legacy Helldiver!
I fought in the first galactic war. Now I get flashbacks when I hear the word illuminate. And phrases from the day of massacre... I still remember all the helldivers lost that day.
Diving with style. Classic armor will always be effective, no matter what war.
me and my cadet watched this while our super destroyer was down, great work!
Cheers! 🍾
Ok quick 4th wall break, dude you are dedicated as hell to this bit and i love it
My father and his father were both killed in this war. That is the reason I fight the enemy forces today.
While I am only a young Helldiver, about half a year in service, Super Earth will not fail with us here
I watched three valient helldivers get mowed down by the illuminate, I yearn for the day that they may return so I can get revenge for my squad
_"I am Death Captain Lionheart, a veteran of the first galactic war, and I wholeheartedly support this informative liberty stream!"_ - Death Captain Lionheart (talking about the F.G.W. documentary)
That's a strong endorsement from one of the Federation's greatest heroes! Thank you, Death Captain Lionheart! FOR SUPER EARTH AND DEMOCRACY!
Brothers and Sisters its for me a pleasure to stand in many battles with you! See you again for Liberty and Democracy
So either they possessed them and didn’t want to resort to them, or they didn’t have them at all.
finally someone see‘s it.
This is so well done,a full liberty salute to the ses!!
Happy Liberty Day!
I remember partaking in the first galactic war. It was towards the end of it but I did my part. Now over a hundred years later I have sent many clones of myself to fight in this new war.
I believe that super earth wasn't destroyed but modified and upgraded so much that traitors has mistakes it as a different planet
Jackal 6 is a damn badass, haven't seen him in a long time.
Remember the fallen, happy liberty day, and for super earth!
Grandpa was so proud of me when I received and put on the replica of his old armor. We then deployed together, him in his original armor, and me in my replica.
We spread freedom and democracy against both bots and bugs. Young and old, together for Super Earth.
Even our old heroes continue to serve our way of life!
Can't wait until 40 years down the line, after the war is over, stories of Malevolon Creek will come to light, and I would be able to relate to it.
Fantastic documentary.
"It's too undemocratic for me to even think about" I'm going to start using this line IRL
The response was chilling:
**“Future Cryogenic Program preserved only Helldivers and essential personnel.”**
I was devastated.
I was far too young to enlist for the first galactic war but my dad served and lost his life to the Cyborgs, he was a brave man and as soon as I could, I enlisted to honour my father's legacy
Long live Super-Earth
Ah yes I remember The Siege of Cyberstan, good times... Finally having my old armor and rifle back brings back so many memories of bayonet-charging packs of cyber-hounds.
Happy Liberty Day everyone!!
Happy Liberty Day, as it closes it reminds us that our way of life is true and pure
Yes hopefully you show the skulldivers to the helldivers next time
