- I love Jake Parker's Skull Chaser figure but I don't believe there are any action figure out there so I figured I would just make my own. The Skull Chaser is 100% Jake's character and purely fan art for my personal collection.
Jake's work has been an inspiration to me and I hope this clay sculpture will be an inspiration to others as well.

I've just finished slapping together a doll version of a character named Mirmi from the app Manatavo Tempi. And now I'm trying to get good enough in Blender so I can modify an existing 3D model of an articulated bunny figure to make a scrappy army mechanic character!

It'a a great character, this was fun to build!
Man, that turned out great! Got to admit I was curious about the PS in the oven, but putting that epoxy on it was a great side step for it.
Did you then put sculpy over that?
Yeah, The epoxy was to hard for me to work with. I ended up finishing it with the sculpy. I just need more experience with the epoxy.
Hi, you have definitely inspired me to make my own figures and toys. Cant afford to keep buying them haha. What type of clay do you use in this video?
I started with Magic Sculpt, a two part epoxy, but it was drying to fast for me. I finished with Super Sculpey

If I understood correctly, did you use spray paint to both prime and get the red? I've heard that polymer clay has a hard time with spray paint, being unable to dry properly and creating a tacky almost melted quality to the sprayed area. I guess I'm asking do you use spray paint with polymer?
So I do a Rustoleum grey primer (rattle can from Home Depot) first then a flat white spray then the red gloss. I didn't really have any issues on this one but I know what your talking about where the paint is still tacky. A trick I use for that is I spray a matte clear coat over the top and that normally gets rid of the tackiness for me.
