- In this video, I'll show you a 1972 Chevy El Camino with some pretty expensive repairs needed. But the question is, can this classic be saved?? I'll try to give her a start and see if the ole' gal wants to get back on the road. Then I'll show you a 2013 Mazda Speed 3 with a little damage. Finally a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace with some bolt-on parts needed. This wouldn't be too extensive to fix!

The missing trim is in the truck bed of the el amino. The time clock does not work. Tail light is available as is the old school steering wheel,new or used. Hood springs available,buy new or used. Have a body shop do the rear. The car won’t go cheap.

Great video Mike! A friend of mine has a 1970 El Camino it is a beautiful green with black top. It is one sharp and super fast car. You should get it and fix it up

i like chevy el camino 1968-1973. 19.000 miles that neat it got ac besides wing windows😊.
That El Camino could be made right again and would be great for Power Tour or any other event, or it would even make a great parts go getter and you could save the interior on that sweet little wagon.

The El Camino would be a good pickup (see what I did there), but that body work looks to be a bit much. Another great car for the power tour for next year and you'd have almost a year to fix it back up...of course, depending on price.

The El Camino could be and should be saved, but it will be expensive. It looks like the left rear frame is bent and the quarter panel is buckled.

The El Camino would be nice to have. While there is no way you'd get your money back after the extensive bodywork it needs, it would just be a shame to see that one go to a scrapyard.

Love El Caminos but think that one might be bent beyond repair, at least without spending more than you would for one in good shape.

Double check the VIN, because it does NOT have the Sport Gauge dash.
Hey Mike, I just got done watching a copper walk around. I loved that Montecarlo I think you need to get that truck that red one that you looked at did I just called a Monte Carlo? It’s a El Camino it is not at Monte Carlo the alchemy. No I meant that. I think the truck looks pretty cool. I think you need to try to get it and put it on your journal. The El Camino is a good opportunity to import into the EU. Ordinary American cars with a v8 engine fall into the luxury tax category due to the large displacement of the engine, plus a large environmental tax is paid, so the Mustang is twice as expensive to import. The El Camino is a commercial vehicle and none of that is pays, but has the same performance...

The El Camino is cool but it isn't a SS. It's a clone as it doesn't have the correct interior. Sadly it has a ton of damage. 😢
They make locks for the side windows. Original am radio can be replaced by a modern one that looks original.

On the Jaguar F-Pace, cleaned up and repaired, it's worth $25k-$35k. If you can get it under $12k, I'd jump on it. Plenty of meat on the bone!

I even looked for it. But I think it gone.
Doubt that the ElCamino is a true SS. The firewall has been redone. The motor is a small block, likely a 350 if it is a 72 motor. The red wire should have been for the electric choke, which was why it was hard to start and keep running.
People used to break in the little windows. They just come right open and then they get your door open and they steal your car. They need to have in box on them windows like a lot of they slide.

dont skip out on that el camino if its a true ss they are worth some money and id have the engine checked out its supposed to have a 393 at the very least if its a true ss i have an 84 elcamino ss my dad has a 70 ss get the 72 body and paint for a decent job will be about 7kish out the door but well worth it even just to keep it as a time piece
