I think the Cuban style challenges the common perception of balance, movement and punch variation that is sometimes limited in most countries. I think outside of Cuba... Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine are the places where the Cuban style is appreciated. I would love to see some posts from you in training.

Your lack of knowledge on this issue is astounding. The Cuban boxing style is not the problem... The issue Cuban boxers face is defection and not being able to return to family, friends and the environment that enabled them to garner the "Olympic level boxing" that give them gold in the tournaments they turn up to. They also have to stay in the amateur game a lot longer than they would to defect as international tournaments and the Olympics present the only credible opportunities for defection. In addition to this ALL the Cuban boxers that you have seen are making money and are of elite standing. Just remember you haven't really seen what Cuba has to offer in pro boxing... you've seen less than 1% of the boxers from the country that could go pro.
