I could not imagine getting bucked off a horse. Except I do know how it feels to have a spooked mare with a baby plant both back feet square on my chest when I was 7 years old. My grandpa thought I was dead.

Wow you all have an amazing job! When I was young my grandfather only owned palominos. We would go riding every weekend together through the canyons by our house.. watching you guys working the cattle, horses, and horse in around brings back those memories!

But they need to be branded, so people know who they belong to and possibly where they are from.

I guess this is why we always push them through the corral on foot and brand in the headshoot. Safer for the animal and us.

Dang. I couldn't weigh cattle with that scale. Freaking I can weigh by eye and I swear I'm pretty accurate. I made a game out of it when I was 15 and now I'm 22 and only 15 pounds off usually. Swear to God.
But that scale is like a doctor office scale. 💯💯 I couldn't.

Hears a interesting yet small story, after getting my car (my mom was driving, im FAR to young) out of a ditch, we were driving down the rosd when she SLAMMED her foot on the break pettle, i looked up only to see 3 wild turkeys fly into the forest. I still wonder if our break pettle is okay

What they are doing is called branding. You can make a custom brand that matches your farm brand so if people buy them they know where they come from. They are using heat branding which does not hurt to bad it only burns the hair off. There are other ways to brand like ice branding but the way they do it is more of the older western way.
