- Yes, I'm a Schnauzer Mom! This is another video in the "THINGS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT" series...and it's for my favorite little guy....Maxxie the WHITE MINIATURE SCHNAUZER. My moniker on UA-cam says it all! My husband and I have had schnauzers since 1991. We had schnauzers before we had kids. Now, I am a registered breeder of schnauzers here in Australia. I have a litter of 5 week olds at the moment and they are beautiful. Every litter (we only have a litter once or twice a year) steals my heart. Luckily many of them come back to visit. It’s a joy to see how much love they give and get from their families.❤️

Your pup is just the cutest. I just found you and posted on a Feb. video. Your hair is doing well. As I said on the other video. I did it after coloring my whole life. I've also found out about The Curly Girl Method. I don't use all of it, but it helps me with a good conditioning method which makes the curls nicer. My hair isn't as curly as yours but dry and can really get frizzy, so I needed something. Anyway, this is about your dog, so just love him.
Hey Renee!! Awww what a sweet baby. I have three dachshunds and they cannot live without their down covers. They love to be completely covered up while they are sleeping. Summer or winter. Our daughter has recently moved closer to her work :( so these babies are our babies. Thanks for sharing Maxxie with us. Take care.

Your Maxxie is handsome! Miniature schnauzers are the only dogs we've had over the past 30+ years. They're loyal and loving. They don't shed:) They're heart-stealers:) … And they're barkers.:/ But oh my goodness - ours have been FAMILY to us. We currently have a 1 year old female - Pippa. She has brought joy to our "empty nest"! Pippa has a favorite blanket that she can't seem to live without.:) And we can't seem to live without these sweet dogs!!
I absolutely agree!!! LOVE Miniature Schnauzers. We have had 4 over the years because they are such wonderful breeds.

I have two Schnauzers. Minnie (salt and pepper is 8 and Lilly (white) is 5. My dogs love their dog door too.
AWWW.....We have raised 4 mini schnauzers over the years. At one point, we had 3!! That was a handful but I loved every minute of it. Now, we only have Maxxie left. We lost Benny and Benson both in 2018. Mini Schnauzers are the absolute best!! Glad to know you love them also :)

We have 5 dogs 4 are recues they are chihua mixes and then we have Beetoven. He is a 14 month old great pyraneese
#1 -They love to play w a tennis ball.
Even better they love a floppy frisbee. ($10 or so on Amazon)
Start out letting them grab hold of the frisbee and play tug. Eventually lift them while they have it and swing them around for fun. They can’t get enough.
Then gradually throw it a few feet in the air so they can catch it. Soon they will be able to catch it in mid air when you toss it across the yard for them. It’s awesome. They will play until they drop. Schnauzers are the full package! Best dogs ever.
How did maxie adjust to not having the other 2 schnauzers around? How old were your schnauzers when they passed?
Hi Alisha! Maxxie was very sad and lonely for the first couple of months. He would wonder around the house looking for the other dogs. He had never been alone and always had one of the other dogs to play/cuddle with. Benson was 12 and Benny was 13....and they passed within 3 months of each other simply due to age. Maxxie was 7 at the time. He has adjusted fine and is now the spoiled baby of the family. BUT.....we adopted another dog earlier this week! Look for that video to be out soon :) And it's a big change for us because he isn't a Schnauzer!

I have a 4yr old schnauzer... she had stones so we have to feed her royal canine. I give her half of wet and dry and put herbsmith bladder care in it. She had surgery and we almost lost her but she made it thru. She is attached to me and she is a barker. I want another schnauzer but I am aftaid that we will deal with stones again because it's just the breed and the vet told us they can come back.
Hi Angela! I have raised 4 Miniature Schnauzers....and none of mine have ever had stones. Those are pretty good odds if you decide to get another pet. You can find mini schnauzers who need adoption in local shelters so please kindly look there :)

I had a salt and pepper mini schnauzer who passed about 3yrs ago from camcer she was 12. I have my 2 little girls Browine who is 8 and Onyx who is 7 they are sisters same parents a year apart the are Dauchound mix with Jackrussle! They are emotional support dogs I had 5 strokes before agee 27. But they love balls i have to spell out the word because they go crazy for balls also they enjoy minties i say who wants to brush there teeth and they go crazy!
I have two labs, one was diagnosed with cancer and i’m honestly scared. i’m trying to make him as comfortable as he can be. i’m 19 so this is really hard for me. Watching you with your dogs makes it so much better and hugging my dogs and cherishing moments together. Thank you so much for sharing i adore you!

It is NOT a shock collar for barking! It is for our invisible fencing. It makes a jingle sound when he approaches the border so he knows to step back
