Do you have a dog that loves the calming bed? Or has anyone purchased one of these beds? I think its a new thing on the market...or at least I haven't heard of it before...but my little guy LOVES his bed! Let me know if yours does too.

My 7-1/2 pound mini Black and Tan mini Dachshund Mandy turned 4 less than 2 weeks ago. She, Peachy and Dyson have tons of beds all over the house including at least ONE cave bed each. Dachshunds adore cave beds. My local Burkes Outlet had a ton of them come in, all very fuzzy mauve pink, all one size, does NOT say anything about being a calming bed. My dogs ADORE fuzzy anything. I kept thinking maybe I should get that as one of her presents. But no, they have many many beds. Her back had been bothering her some and I decided to heck with it, she deserves this super fuzzy bed. She is in it right now at my feet! From the moment I gave it to her, she just snuggled deep into it and had the most blissful look on her face! Four month old Peachy kept begging to get in there with her but Mandy growled at her and refused to share! Peachy was finally able to sneak up on the edge of it and Mandy "graciously" allowed her to stay! I swear this bed helped her back heal faster! She adores her bed and thinks it is one of the best things she ever got!
I bought one of these for our medium size elderly dog. She curls up in this and absolutely loves it. However, she occasionally has to shoo away the cat who takes it over when she is out of it....which isn’t very often! Now I need to buy one for the cat! Every time I look at the dog in this fluffy, amazingly luxurious bed, I keep wishing they made these for humans!
Hi Kathi!!!!! I’m sure your cat does love it. In my house, we have a big bed for our big dog...and a small bed for Maxxie (White Schnauzer). At bedtime, Maxxie gets in the big bed instead of his own just to irritate the big dog. LOL. I eventually have to pick him up and put in the small bed so big guy can go to sleep. Brothers.... 😂🐶😂

I am so going to buy one of these. I adopted a terrier mix some years ago. She is so quirky and has all these rituals I have to go through for feeding, for sleeping. I don’t mind but she is deathly afraid of thunderstorms and lightning and even heavy, pouring rain. One crack and if she’s outside, she’s hugging the door to get on. If she’s inside, she’s plastered up against my leg until I finally give in and take her to my bedroom and sit next to her for the duration of the storm. This bed sounds like a perfect fit for her and I thank you for posting about it. Plus, Maxxi looks so adorable in it. My Isabella is white & cream so the beige one will suit her perfectly. I live in Europe so I hope they sell them here!

Yes! We have a very neurotic rescue mini Schnauzer. (Something awful must have happened at the puppy mill she came from). We have loved on her and worked to comfort and sooth her for 2 years. Four months ago I purchased that bed at a Marshals discount store (oh, how I miss shopping there) and it has been a game changer. She loves her comfort bed. She's still afraid of vacuums, dust mops, anything moving or electrical but is doing much better. She recently started sleeping on her back with her legs spread out all over... love seeing her so relaxed. Your Maxxie is precious.
Awww 💗💗💗 at this moment, we are in a huge thunderstorm. Maxxie has crawled into his calming bed and stuck his head under his dog blanket. He really finds the bed comforting 💗
I have always had Shih Tzus & I did start using Thunder Jackets for all of them. If the jacket is put on properly, they worked great for all my dogs. I do know some people don't like them so it may be a breed issue for some. I use the jackets when I take them to groomers, vet, traveling, storms, flying, etc. I do have similar beds & my girls love them. It really gives them comfort. Also they stay cuddly & warm when winter arrives. I wish they made these beds for grownups!!
Thank you so much for recommending this bed! I ordered it for our new rescue to use in the car. We had a “look out” car seat, but he didn’t like it. He was nervous and panting the whole time. We’re trying to make the car a positive experience for the little guy. I put the bed in the back seat and buckled him up in the seatbelt. It really seems to be working! He’s calmer and if we get a pup cup while we’re out, he’s happier! Thank you again!!!🐶💙
That is awesome! Awww....I just had a vision of your little guy all snuggled in :) That makes me happy!! We went to the beach last fall and took Maxxie. He rode in his bed the entire 9 hour trip and was as happy as he could be 😊
I wish I had one of these when I had my dog Max. He was a mix large mix breed that was with me for 14 years. He was so scared of thunderstorms and no matter what I did nothing helped! 😢
I bought these beds this last winter for my 2 schnauzers. When they are cold they like to get in this bed, but Checkers has to touch me when he sleeps. Mostly he is against my back or between My hubs and I touching us both. He likes this bed better than all the rest, but .....Mom is the besr.

Hi! Both of our dogs having calming beds...and they LOVE them!!! Fantastic purchases! My advice is to get one with a removable cover (zipper) so it can be put into the washing machine. I didn’t do this with Maxxie’s medium bed....but did with Pollux’s XLG bed. The cover just zips right off!
Also...:watch the video where Pollux gets his bed. You’ll see it being opened and get a good sense of the bed size. Not sure what type dog you have...but Pollux is 42 lbs and has an XLG BED in that video Maxxie (White Schnauzer) is 18 lbs and has a MEDIUM bed

Hi! I have the type with zippers so the inside stuffing can be removed for washing. So I'm only washing the outside cover....and I've never had a problem with my washer. When dry, I just pop the inside stuffing back in and zip it up. The beds wash very well and are always so fluffy and fresh :)
It does look comfy. I'd like for myself...when feeling insecure about my grey hair!!!! HAHAHA...sometimes my dog gets antsy over thunder. Maybe Santa can bring her one!!!

OH MY GOSH Pollux is sooooo adorable!!! :) I love the bed you got him and the colour is gorgeous! Is that the largest size? I seen ones that are 110cm which i think is 43 inches (We don't use inches in Australia haha) Also, do you find the bed is too soft for a larger dog ?

I got Pollux an X-Large bed but it is a bit too big. He has plenty of room to lay out flat. The large would have been better. There isn’t as much fluff in the bottom just because it’s so big. But Pollux doesn’t seem to mind 😊. I think I paid around $80 US for his bed so $130 seems a big high. Could it be a shipping issue to Australia vs US?

We bought one for each of our cats. They love them and also like to curl up together in one. Really cute!

When you convert $80 US, it works out to around $130 Australian. I will keep searching for less expensive ones..i really love these beds! :)
