She was so confused about the bathtub. Do I drink out of it? Am I going to get in trouble for standing in water? I can imagine her going home and seeing her water dish and then standing in it with the expression "Well Venessa had me stand in the one at her house."
I’ve had 4 schnauzers in my life. They are very vocal, because they were bred to be ratters and catch rats. They also don’t shed, very robust, intelligent and cute
@@tegueggu Yes every dog sheds but breeds like Poodles, Schnauzers, Bichons and Airedales (to name a few) have hair and not fur. Normal dog fur, grows to a certain density before being shed, this causes most dog breeds to shed a noticeable amount or to blow out coats seasonally. Poodles and Schnauzer's fur is more like human hair, the hair grows indefinitely and sheds about as often as we shed our own hair. Poodles, Schnauzers, Bichons, etc. are considered to be hypoallergenic dog breeds because they not only produce low amounts of dander they also do not shed in noticeably high quantities which makes them great for people with dog allergies who want a dog. The trade off with owning a hypoallergenic dog breed is that they have to be groomed regularly because their hair can get really long.
@@HailKosm I am a groomer and schnauzers are my breeds. I’m aware of the types of coats that I work with. I also know quite a bit about this due to me being allergic to dogs. The myth that dogs with hair do not shed needs to be corrected.
We just lost our miniature schnauzer this past September. Amaya looks just like he did as a pup. He was a holy terror for grooming, from puppyhood to the end. He also barked his head off at anyone who wasn't a part of our household, people walking by on the street, people on bikes, other dogs etc. He was very vocal. Despite his cantankerous nature, he was super smart, easy to train, feisty and playful, and loved to chill out and lay with us on the couch. In his later years, he was especially attached to my husband and was right at his heels even if he was just going to the kitchen. We miss him dearly.
I never had a Miniature Schnauzer, but I do know the feeling of losing a dog. I had a German Shepherd mixed with Chinese Shar-Pei, but he looked more like he was a German Shepherd puppy, even though he was 14 years old when he died
I got a black miniature schnauzer over 30 years ago, and this video today brought back so many sweet memories. Jackson was fiercely loyal and affectionate towards those he loved. Even if miniature schnauzers are small dogs, they have the heart of a lion. Jackson was so brave, clever, protective, and loved. I miss you, my sweetheart.
giants are so sweet, a friend of mine her grandma had some and when they'd look after them id join on the walk . when running it was like they were trying to fly
I had a giant schnauzer for 11 years. He was quite a loud barker too, not really friendly to strangers, but was very affectionate towards family and some friends he knew. Also, In later years he was very obedient and he rarely barked even at other dogs. Unfortunately, he inherited many illnesses from his parents, so he was suffering of cancer during his last 3 years... He was a good boy and we loved him dearly.

My mini schnauzer just passed a few days ago, 31.1.24. He was such a playful & smart baby, really mischievous & like you’ve said, very feisty. His bark was so loud for such a small body. What I wouldn’t give to see my handsome pup again. This video made me smile today, thank you.
Amaya is so precious.🥰 What a sweet fur baby. She's a credit to her breed, that despite the new experience of having a spa treatment, she conducted herself like a lady.
Her shivering and little whimpers were breaking my heart. ❤ My karate instructor had a mini schnauzer named Sophie. She was this tiny white puff ball that loved everybody. It was weeks before I saw her walk on her own, because everyone loved picking her up. 😂
My mini Schnauzer died back in May. She was such a ham. So smart, so stubborn, absolutely bursting with personality, and so sweet to her people. There's no dog quite like a Schnauzer.
So sorry for your loss. I lost my mini schnauzer last February. I haven't been the same since. Keep in mind you were there for her her entire life, that is everything to your sweet pup.

I also run a boarding/daycare kennel and had the pleasure of a giant schnauzer regularly for quite some time! They are VERY different from minis for sure. I have a standard schnauzer and she just turned 16 🥺. Super athletic all her life (until about 2 years ago) easy to train, largely extremely healthy, and not a huge barker 🙌.
I too had a mini schnauzer and my ex had a giant. Guess who "ruled the roost" - not the giant! I loved them dearly - that was many moons ago! Little Amaya is just way to precious❤. God bless......
I've grown up all my life with miniature schnauzers, yes they are loud and extremely smart. I loved it when they got all scruffy, my parents currently have a puppy and she will play nonstop if you let her.
My friend had a giant schnauzer. He was a wonderful dog. Incredibly smart, very friendly and affectionate to people he liked, and an excellent judge of character. As my friend put it, “When he didn’t like someone, without fail it turned out he was correct. The person in question would inevitably turn out to be not nice.”
Well done sweet Amaya. Definitely thanks to Vanessa for taking good care of her. I liked when Vanessa told her "Please don't drink it, it's not a soup" 😂🐾❤️
We got a giant schnauzer when I was 7yo and had him for 13 years. 25 years later I still miss the guy. Such a gentle and loving dog. He could open every door in the house and garden, very smart and well behaved.

I miss my Mini Schnauzer so much. She passed away last year, 2 months shy of 18 years old. She was the sweetest dog. I loved cuddling, kissing and smelling her. She only barked when she heard the door bell. Amaya’s whimpering reminded me of her when we first had her, especially in the first few nights when there was the sound of thunder 😢
I had a mini schnauzer for 11.5 years. He was nothing like people describe the breed. He never barked and when he did he sounded like a really small dog. His coat was very wooly too, we used to joke that he was mixed with a poodle. He was vocal but used his “inside voice” meaning he would make purring noises like a cat to communicate with us. We lost him late last year so it’s still every fresh. I love him a lot. He was also black and he had small curls on the top of his head :’) He used to play with an old stuffed football from Ikea. We’d chase him and he’d run with it in his mouth and that was how he played. He never destroyed a single toy either
Beautiful puppy! I just lost our last of five mini schnauzers. 26 years total, of schnauzer babies. I miss the noise, they were all talkers, and made sure we knew about anyone near our house. So darn adorable. I think we’ll find another one….or two. 😊
She is so cute. I love the way you didn't want to mess up her home crate training and dried her with the little dryer. Great groom. Hopefully you'll be grooming her from now on. 🐕❤️
Lost my mini schnauzer a couple years ago and I miss her so much. She had so much character! She would yodel a lot, very vocal. And she was would back talk with my mom constantly it was hilarious. She was a spitfire until the last year of her 14 year life
She is adorable! I have a Mini Schnauzer who is a total character. We regularly see a Giant Schnauzer on our walks. He is a super elegant, confident and calm dog off lead. We all love him.

He was a menace (loved getting into the trash, HATED old men and sports tv scared the bejeezus out of him) but he was also the best buddy you could ever have. When we sat in the couch he would squish himself between out backs and the pillow to get comfy, always set next to our feet when we were doing schoolwork and was all around a pleasant and snuggly little gentleman. Wonderful dogs
I have a mini schnauzer who just turned 1. Your videos have inspired me to groom him myself after a very traumatic professional grooming appt, but he absolutely hates having his paws worked on. We have really worked on the barking, and in general he is a very quiet pup. He doesn't bark at other dogs, sometimes barks at strangers if they surprise him, but otherwise he just "aroo"s when he wants to play. He is so smart and sweet, this breed is absolutely amazing. Our boy Gus is our mini schnauzer. I love him so much. I love his barking, we live in NYC and I feels safe when my husbands away. No one can tell how big he is on the other side of our door. He’s so loving and so protective and loyal. Better to me than some of my own “family”. Gus is one of the great loves of my life. Thank you for showcasing these amazing dogs
There isn't a single puppy that isn't incredibly adorable!! 😍 When you out her in the water and she froze 😂 that was so funny and cute! And poor baby, her cries and the way she looked up at you for comfort and reassurance during the blow drying process!
I had a salt-and-pepper miniature schnauzer, and he was the best dog. My little Woody was full of personality, very loving, smart as a whip, and a bit stubborn, but that was part of his charm. He went across the rainbow bridge at the age of 14. I still miss him every day!
@twilightzone-ex-hostage1997 , you seriously had to bring in politics on this sweet puppy grooming video? I've heard of TDS, and apparently you've got it bad. Please seek help for it.
Have had four mini's in my lifetime, three girl salt and peppers and one male silver and black. They are the best dogs. Love their family, highly intelligent, very vocal. Love, love them all and always will. When my heart heals some more after losing my pretty little girl I'll get another just like her beloved brother. Such cutie pies.
I have a schnoodle who is now 15 years old. His name is Crumb, and he still energetic and playful like he was a puppy. Only senior issue is his hearing is not good he won't hear a regular call but will hear me whistle for him.
I met a gorgeous adult black giant schnauzer one day as I walked around with my baby mini . Gus was his name and he was so chill and gentle. Definitely a totally different dog!
Such a cute little puppy! I never head of a giant dog like this! She seemed to like being dried! I gave you both 5 smiley faces for do😀😀😀😀😀ing such a good job!
Amaya is an adorable little Schnauzer baby girl 💞🐾🐾💞 I would love to have a mini schnauzer, but I don't think I could do it justice with the training it would need and the grooming too. So I will have to settle for watching them from afar in videos ♥️🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰♥️
I have owned both a mini and standard schnauzer. They have completely different personality traits. One wanted cuddles and lay around the house, and the other needed jobs to do around the house and tons of exercise. Loved them both.
@@gwennorthcutt421they’re 2 different breed types. The miniature is a terrier and the standard is a working dog. Thats why their personalities are different.
@@tegueggu they're not technically terriers, but they are pestcatchers for sure, since standards were bred with small pinschers and poodles to get the mini kind, apparently. technicalities aside, i do agree the diff breed types are the reason for their temperment differences. catching rats and such favor a more spunky and tenacious personality, while a livestock dog needs to be mellower and obedient
I had a snauzer for 15 years and 2 weeks. Best dog I've ever had. You were very correct in your description. Very vocal, very smart, very loyal to their humans.
Miniture Schnauzers are loud and very agressive because they are guard dogs at heart. They are even more aggressive after their cuts. At least that is my experience. We always showed them a before and after mirror pose of themselves and they perk up, very proud. My mom raised Miniture Schnauzers for sale for over 30 years. So, I am pretty experienced being around them. They are very nervious dogs when thy don't understand. I learned how to cut them. Everyone in my family had their own dog, Not all family members had Schnauzers, but I had one named Tornado. Great dog. We had 1 black like Mia, but most all of ours were salt and pepper.
My family has raised Minis for decades now. They're stubborn, loyal and energetic and have enormous personalities. They are hilarious, adorable, extremely intelligent and absolutely worth making a part of your family as long as they're raised right. Our oldest one is about 14 or 15 now and she's still going strong. It's difficult for me to pick a favorite breed, but Schnauzers are absolutely up there.
I used to have a giant schnauzer at my daycare, he was a d*ck, and the owners never got on board with the training protocol I recommended, so ultimately I fired them. My horse trainer when I was growing up had minis though, and despite both being ridiculously feisty, they are in fact a totally different breed! Also, this puppy is super adorable 🥰
Soooo important to start them as puppies!! I have had 7 pugs in the last 20 years but only one that I have raised myself as a puppy. She is perfectly fine sitting in my lap and getting her nails trimmed. That's saying something for a pug. The other six behaved as if you were at least amputating their toes, if not their whole paw. At 8 weeks old, I started clipping them with regular nail clippers and have kept up ever since.
She was so confused about the bathtub. Do I drink out of it? Am I going to get in trouble for standing in water? I can imagine her going home and seeing her water dish and then standing in it with the expression "Well Venessa had me stand in the one at her house."

@@yoshi6421 When tRump was voted out!
@twilightzone-ex-hostage1997 , you seriously had to bring in politics on this sweet puppy grooming video? I've heard of TDS, and apparently you've got it bad. Please seek help for it.
@@texasgirl6000still got your head shoved up Trump's ass, huh? 😂 Since YOU just continued with the politics. How sad for you.
@@texasgirl6000always fun to find a MAGAt 😂
Have had four mini's in my lifetime, three girl salt and peppers and one male silver and black. They are the best dogs. Love their family, highly intelligent, very vocal. Love, love them all and always will. When my heart heals some more after losing my pretty little girl I'll get another just like her beloved brother. Such cutie pies.
Amaya was scared at first but became more relaxed with kind Vanessa . Little Amaya is a cutie pie. 🥰🐾
This dog is violently cute
My grandparents had a schnoodle named Tina. She was adorable. When her hair grew out it was tipped with grey so she looked like a little cloud.
I had a mini schnoodle named Cozette. She was dark brown and looked like a little werewolf when she was a puppy.
I have a schnoodle who is now 15 years old. His name is Crumb, and he still energetic and playful like he was a puppy. Only senior issue is his hearing is not good he won't hear a regular call but will hear me whistle for him.
Oh every little whine broke my heart a little bit more..l she's so precious 💕
I have a nearly 9 year old Giant Schnauzer if you want to ever groom one. He's been groomed his whole life and is really a spazzy sweet boy.
She looks exactly like my dog when he was a pup so adorable!
Puppy is the cutest. I luv dogs with black coats. Something about black coats. That's so stunning. Well done!❤️🐶
Amaya is such a pretty black Puppy dog, she's so adorable God-bless you! ❤🎉
So cute! Her face looks like a Boyd's Bear popular in the 80s-90s. Adorable 😊
It does! I collect Christmas Boyd's Bears, which is weird because otherwise I'm not into cute figurines. I would 💯buy an Amaya figurine 😊
I have a mini-schnauzer rescue. She's a joy, and I always have her get the schnauzer cut. Mine is black and just lovely- we're great pals❤
Oh my she is absolutely cute as anything! That little face... 🥰😍
I love it when they are in her lap!😻
I literally want too get a giant schnauzer as a service dog. I grew up with mini and standard schnauzers. I loved their personalities so much.
Amaya was such a good girl! My neighbour had a mini schnauzer called Milly and she was such a character! Loved cuddles, loathed walks 😂
4:59 that’s just adorable
Im laying in my bed, dealing with a second bout of Covid....and seeing this adorable thing helps lighten up my day...
Feel better and yes brightens all
Oh no, I hope you feel better soon. Bless you, it’s not easy being I’ll. take care xx
My 15 year old kitty passed away recently, and this channel has helped me so much.
@cherylhurst7093 I started watching these videos and many others after my 21 year old cat passed. It has been so much help.
Get better soon!
schnauzers have the cutest faces imo. 🥹 puppies even more so.
such cutie pies!!!! 💓
I have owned both a mini and standard schnauzer. They have completely different personality traits. One wanted cuddles and lay around the house, and the other needed jobs to do around the house and tons of exercise. Loved them both.
yknow, mini schnausers were crossbred to get the small size, so i cant help but wonder if thats the reason their personalities are different
Never saw a black Schnauzer. She's so cute and did very well for her first groom. Cute cut. ❤
I had a snauzer for 15 years and 2 weeks. Best dog I've ever had.
You were very correct in your description. Very vocal, very smart, very loyal to their humans.
I grew up with 3, yes 3, mini's. Loved them to bits. They are adorable & literally could hear my parents' cars from blocks away.
I love when you dry puppies in your lap. So cute!
Sweet, cute Amaya has a giant world to explore and learn about. ❤❤❤
What a sweet girl. She did so well for her first groom.❤
Vanessa's Doggy Distraction Noises definitely got my older dog's attention from a deep sleep. The look dog's giving me! 😂
Amaya was sooo good for her first appointment! Well done! 😊
I love that all the puppies are like “just hold me in your lap” to clip nails, dry, etc. They just need a bit of Vanessa love to get through the groom
Brought me back to my little mini Schnauzer, Delilah. She was amazing, like grey, my companion for 15 years. ❤✨️😇
Hey 🌹
She was very well behaved!!
Sucha good girl. She was shaking like a leaf but still didnt make too much fuss.
Treats? No
Hair clippings? Yummy!
She's so cute and weird
I used to have a giant schnauzer at my daycare, he was a d*ck, and the owners never got on board with the training protocol I recommended, so ultimately I fired them. My horse trainer when I was growing up had minis though, and despite both being ridiculously feisty, they are in fact a totally different breed! Also, this puppy is super adorable 🥰
I can't wait to have you celebrate 1 Million on this channel, you deserve it.
