- Aerial drone flying over Junction City, Kansas shows what this small city has to offer. Please enjoy the memorial park I flew from😎
I hope you enjoy and subscribe to this UA-cam drone channel while seeing my travels from an aerial view above nature, towns and cities in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, US, Canada, and several islands @ / jamesbebop . Or please visit my photo website with photos of 49 countries/islands, all 50 states and all but one province in Canada that I could not drive through at www.JGlowacki.com . I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

I agree. I was born and raised in Junction City. The fly over of down town where I ran my Business the Sound Aquarium (111 west 7th street), brought back memories. The memories of my friend Bob Cervera, the owner of Radio Shack and Tom from Tom's Mens Wear. The flew over a memorial Seating area named in Memory of a City Worker named Kenny Langdon that was the best customer. He was always ordering Old Country & Western Cassette Tapes. Spent the best part of my life here. I miss it so much....the memories!

Sound aquarium was the place to get your music. I remember when you had the No Limit section right when came in store. Really upset when this store closed. No where else had the selection you did.

I lived there for 7 longs years!!! Couldn’t wait to leave that place. But I loved the historical sites there.

WOW!!!!!! This video brought tears to my eyes, This is my hometown and it looks the same in so many ways. I was married in st x church. The Drones trip over Washington street really gave me goosebumps as I have spent many nights walking down that street and having fun. A spin down 6th street or west-wood would be cool also.

I met my husband in Ma's lounge, that was next to a mobile home park, that had railroad tracks behind it. We were having a bad time back then, but now we're married 32 years, been together 33...:)

I was stationed at Fort Riley 07-12. Many fun nights in JC. Woody’s was a bar we drank at, not far from that park. That red building right next to the park was Kites if i remember correctly. I also used to get my haircut from Sue, this video brought back some memories.

Stationed at Ft. Riley in 1971-72, I always liked Junction City, KS. Visited there last summer July 2022.. good old memories..

Was in the Army there. We called it junk town as well. Learned a lot about life that I should not have. Lots of bad choices made in that town.

Awesome video! I live 2 hours away in Doniphan County Kansas and been making weekend road trips to JC for the last two years and coming down with a friend in less than two weeks from writing this comment. I especially enjoy visiting Thomas' Taste of Chicago and R/C Hobbies and Signs, plus the A&W in Sapp Brothers, the A&W near me pulled out years ago. Keep up the good work and I look forward to once again enjoy JC's hospitality!

I’m a veteran retiree, thinking about moving there Ft Riley/ Junction City.
Is the crime really as bad as “ they “ say for Junction City. I will call base housing to ask if I can live on base, some bases allow it.

JC 1981 I almost didn’t make it out alive. 100% disabled 40 years later. Hoorah Watch yourself if you are alone at night. That’s the bad although it looks a lot different now.

It's basically a small town hood. A lot of crime in Junction City.
