Apparently everybody's holding it except for me..... Buddy !!! LOL I bought one put at 385, sold it at 355 made 200 bucks and that's my story with NVDA.
To be fair, I see nothing similar to market tops of 2008 to market tops now in 2024 other than they're all time highs for each perspective period. It took roughly 5 1/2 years to take out 2008 highs which was in 2013. We did that already in only 2 years from 2021 highs.. In a much different enviroment I might add. We were going through the worst housing and banking crisis in 100 years in 2008. Current enviroment does not soupport your thesis at all. Of course, eventually we will have a correction. Not the end of the world. Not yet. You guys on youtube been calling for crisis after crisis with those ridiculous topping phase charts and so on for last few years. All it does is scare the fresh meat in markets. Its sad. Fear sells people. Unfortunately. SPX 5900
Nice analysis. Of course there will some nasty bumps along the way but it appears that gold and silver will have some legs this year. Already a nice 25-50% pop in most of the miners.
AI is like microsoft before the 2000 crash. Big future but the hype is still much bigger than the reality. Its not on building sites yet in meaningful ways.. Blockchain utilities in global distribution netowrks for real good is where it will shine brightest first I think.
excellent! I'm a grateful (but silent) follower! I didn't know that gold rallied as the market last peaked prior to the GFC. Great stuff. I figured gold would sell-off with a stock mkt decline, but now I see that it begins to anticipate a mkt bottom. Really good stuff. Thanks so much for sharing.
The whole market feels like it has been running on fumes for months…..I have used it to cash out thank god, not interested in chasing the last few per cent….happy to be earning 5.40 on 3 month T bills and sleep at night. I would point out, the market usually hits ATH’s, right before it tanks….2000/2008/2022.
Chris might be fighting the last war. There’s no telling how the next year will unfold, but looking at 2008 and using it as a substitute for what might happen next is a dangerous game.
