Not every UA-camr has the success in other areas to warrant a full 'quality not quantity' ethic. I'm so happy to have found this more niche channel compared to the '2 a day' styled content

They want more content and this video is pretty much saying you will get content, it will be excellent high quality content, but it will be coming out in about 6 months........ maybe.... The inclusion of the second channel and scheduled streams keeps things a float for now however i do hope that content is produced from the main channel on at least a semi-regular basis. I understand the philosophy surrounding this decision is far more impulse based which may provide better content in the long run, but I'm not sure how many people will stay for the long run depending on how the long the run ends up being along with how consistent it is. Regardless, personally, I'm here for the long run, no matter how long that is. I waited months for the Jerma Rumble Live Action video and was not at all disappointed. If that's the kind of content you'll be giving us you can sign me up.
There will absolutely not be a drought like this summer. I had a lot going on, and jerma rumble live was like nothing iv'e ever done before. I learned a lot, and don't expect i'll ever have a 3 month lull like that ever again.

You're gimping your second channel by not giving them the full exposure they require. By making a new channel, your new content is inherently going to be way, way, *way* less viewed. Regardless, it's good to have you back Jerma. With Star abandoning UA-cam entirely for Twitch, it's good to have someone back who actually gives a shit about making creative content still.
Another thing I didn't touch upon is the stream highlights are all 1280x720 at 3500 bit rate. Until I get a better setup which allows me to record full 1080p gameplay with audio, and stream at the same time, The second channel keeps them in one spot. I didn't want a situation where 2 videos back to back are 3500 - 15,000 bit rate. Also the volume of videos as well. I don't want to spam people with content they might not want.
Jermy, you should really check out Holy Mackerel the Third because they made really good highlight videos of your streams, like *Overwatch*, *Salt and Sanctuary* and *Stardew Valley*. Honestly they do a great job and it could take the weight off you highlighting them yourself.

What about videos like Co-op Crusade, Death to Spies, or Impossible Creatures, that are gaming videos, but not just stream highlights. Well-edited, funny, classic videos sometimes with ster_ that I can still go back to and find hilarious. Are those going to be here or the second channel, or are you just not going to do them anymore?
Professional Killstreak Commentator I think his stream videos are gonna be more like his old TF2 and GTA videos (but without Star_). Much chiller, with less cuts and scripted scenes (and hopefully he can also bring back the old outro music, since it compliments the style of video).
Those videos wont disappear entirely. A lot of that will be on the second channel, but if I have an idea, or a game I know i want to make a video on, it will be here for sure.

Star_ said in one of his streams that he's been a bit on edge on making sure his next video beats the last one be posted. He streams a lot and hasn't really came up with anything for a new video so he decided, instead of uploading a low/medium effort video after a long time, he wouldn't get so much backlash if he uploads a high quality video after a longer time. At this point i'm not sure what will happen.

Jerma i've been watching you since way back to before your 2000 sub extravaganza and i will always support your channel and what you choose to do with it, keep up the quality content you've been putting out for 5 years that i've been watching the whole time. you're one of the few subs from way back then i still have, and that's for good reason, i appreciate you man.
As long as you're having fun with what you're doing! I think most people would agree that we don't care on the quality of videos produced (Not saying I don't appreciate the live action stuff. Fucking love that shit) as long as you enjoy what you're doing it'll show through your content and your real fans will be there to support you for it. What about videos like Co-op Crusade, Death to Spies, or Impossible Creatures, that are gaming videos, but not just stream highlights. Well-edited, funny, classic videos sometimes with ster_ that I can still go back to and find hilarious. Are those going to be here or the second channel, or are you just not going to do them anymore?
Professional Killstreak Commentator I think his stream videos are gonna be more like his old TF2 and GTA videos (but without Star_). Much chiller, with less cuts and scripted scenes (and hopefully he can also bring back the old outro music, since it compliments the style of video).

Those videos wont disappear entirely. A lot of that will be on the second channel, but if I have an idea, or a game I know i want to make a video on, it will be here for sure.

For some reason this video made me think of all of the classic videos jerma has made in the past and the hundreds of times hes made me laugh and all of the times hes turned a shit day into a great day... makes me tear up a bit

not sure where you're from, but starting off with "jerma mate" is my kind of talk lol, I can say the same thing, Jermas videos have helped me through some of the worst of my depression, there's nothing like binge watching his tf2 videos to get my shit together!

I can vibe with this. I'm a lonely, and a non-financially blessed person, and Jerma and others on UA-cam are the people who keep me going.
DafuqROB SAME! I was in a really really bad place last summer and his videos were the only thing that kept me going. it's gotten to a point now that hearing his intro music alone manages to calm me down and remind me what happiness is. he was like a friend to me when I was completely isolated. I'm still suicidal and whenever I feel like I can't go on anymore, I go watch Jerma videos. 100% garanteed I fall asleep with a smile.

I don't know how many other people do this but as someone who cant make every stream I love watching those. Unfortunately I was in the middle of watching your Dark Souls 3 playthrough a while back and it got deleted :( .

Star_ said in one of his streams that he's been a bit on edge on making sure his next video beats the last one be posted. He streams a lot and hasn't really came up with anything for a new video so he decided, instead of uploading a low/medium effort video after a long time, he wouldn't get so much backlash if he uploads a high quality video after a longer time. At this point i'm not sure what will happen.
