The Grand Wagoneer is a beautiful vehicle. But, at 103K I'll have to admire it from afar. :)
That is stupid expensive 😑 😒 🙄, but I like it
"Expensive" is relative
You said its expensive...i said its cheap 🤘🏻😂
The people you see in this comment section are the reason vehicle prices won't come down
That's a really beautiful Jeep, but $100k ? good lord, why? It's becoming insane the cost of vehicles.
OMG, it's beautiful!!! Very excited to see that Hurricane engine go into the Ram 1500!
My everyday Jeep SUV! Amazing job Ben.
The Obsidian is the way to go on the GW, as is the Carbide on the standard Wagoneer. That Hurricane engine is the real deal, and I love that Chrysler went with an I-6! I highly await it to spread on everything from the Ram, to the GC, JL, and even the upcoming Challenger/Charger replacements(don't get me wrong, I love my Hellcats, but at least we know that Chrysler isn't giving up on hi-po ICE engines).
The crazy thing is that there is one even more luxurious than this in the Series III Obsidian.
Can't wait for them to put it in the Wrangler! 😁
Can you get your hands on a regular Wagoneer with the standard output inline 6? I keep hearing its 0-60 somewhere between 5.5-5.8 seconds, which sounds crazy for the SO version.
I love love love these new jeeps 👏
Esa si esta Cool!!!!! bella nave amigo 😊
I’ll be waiting to buy a Gladiator with the twin turbo Hurricane straight 6 . I was almost ready to get back in a Jeep after 6 yrs in a full size truck, but now I wait another yr or so to get my new truck.
I test drove the wagoner and for some reason it didnt click with me, I chose a Chevy Tahoe instead.
I was looking this morning and I noticed you can only get it with the hurricane engine regardless. The standard wheelbase model doesn’t have the 6.4 L hemi V8 anymore.
Ben you are the best of auto blogger on my opinion, like you’re style but your Whois so fast)
The Grand Wagoneer is beautiful for some odd reason picture Herman Munster driving one of these along having Grandpa sitting on passenger side ... LOL 😆. I love these new Jeeps they are great looking remember when the Grand Wagoneer came out few years back thought wouldn't like it until seen few in person they look really gorgeous better than the Expedition.
Homer Simpson more likely.
I like the sound of that hurricane engine
Does it still have lifters like the 57?
when are they to put it in thr Ram`s?
Thing moves.
Anyone else notice the tow packages disappear from the build menu on Jeep’s website? Are they not available anymore??
Can the grand wagoneer beat range rover in terms of comfort, drivability?
@Ben Hardy center console cooler = Ice cold waters, ice cold soda's
You shouldn’t say tons of leg room in the third row seats until you lock the second seat in the position it goes in which I don’t think you did but from experience recently in a Toyota grand highlander once you actually “lock” yourself into the back the legroom goes away for the most part.
Any idea when their hands free driving is coming out?
The motor is great as well as the interior. The silloet is not great. Heard gm is making their own TT I6 gas motor.
Ben~ I REALLY hope they put this engine in the Grand Cherokee 4xe!
and the wrangler 4xe
Wtf y’all 🤦🏻♂️
Should have 305 tires rather than 285’s with that much power and bulk.
Will the Hurricane engine be available in The 2023 Grand Cherokee?
Hope they bring that i6 engine into the TRX so my truck appreciates. V8 or die.
...... What!? That didn't make any sense
Love the inside. Hate the outside…
4:10 what are those!?!?!?
No heated third row seat
Literally around the block😅
jeep out did themselves on this one. absolutely sweet. way better and way way nicer than a Cadillac escalade in my opinion. way sweeter !
Let’s get this in the Ram 1500 asap please
Needs wood paneling
Will the wrangler get this engine?
Yes. Wrangler with I6 Hurricane is the way to go!
its a tahoe or suburban from the side
Beautiful car but too much wheel and not enough sidewall. Rock mode? What idiot is going to take that beauty into the rocks? What is the power train warranty?
😅😅 what even abysmal is the fact there is no protection what so ever in the undercarriage with lose and expose wiring , oil pan plastic cover , etc . I seen mechanic video review the undercarriage and it ridiculous to market this and give it feature that it can off-road and the frame seem like it easy to rust . I don’t see last to 10 yrs. Really bad
I just don’t understand why Chrysler went the BMW route and decided to have this engine not have a dipstick. Plus this engine isn’t gonna be reliable in the long run when compared to the 6.4 V8, yes it makes more power, torque and is more efficient than the V8 but reliability is everything and when you buy a vehicle this size, fuel costs aren’t something you worry about. If you did you’d go for a Chevy Suburban that has the 3.0 Duramax diesel
It's based on a very poor quality 4 cylinder Fiat engine, made in Mexico and the company is run by the French. What could possibly go wrong?
I hate all the piano black buttons, bezels, and trim... looks cheap, scratches easily and get fingerprints in seconds....
@Angry Beaver correct like most people on the internet....
Its beautiful, but i aint paying 100,000 for one.
This is my dream car now. Have a 20 GC.. have a long way to go 😂
103k ? Not too bad
Lord, who’s gonna spend $100 G’s for a Jeep😅…..But then people buying the $80 G’s 392 Wrangler….
Ain't that the truth!!!!
People with no common sense buys jeeps. Or anything from stallantis. Lol
Can you name the truck with four wheel drive,
smells like a steak and seats thirty-five..
Canyonero! Canyonero!
14 mpg in the city and 20 on the highway 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
My biggest complaint about Chrysler fCA getting tired of hearing the same key charm they need to change the sound it's old and ridiculous
Not nearly as bad as the Ford Chime
You should have bought that for the wife. Might not even have to go in the shop after 100 miles 🤷♂️
For those that think this is expensive....you can spend $125k on one.
Wait wait a damn minute what’s the difference between a Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer ? I don’t know they where a different vehicle. Not joking I’m serious what’s the difference?
More than a fuckin grand I can tell you that
too bad its v6 not v8, i dont care how about turbo long run good luck to go 400k, and turbo not cheap to fix, I wish they will give it as an option
Like many Stellantis products it looks great when new with excellent initial quality but the resale is just so abysmal and the QC always less than stellar after a couple of years.
They’ve come a long way from the 80s dodge days but there’s so much rom for improvement still.
You can't know Jeep vehicles and say that with a straight face. The resale certainly isn't "abysmal". It isn't the early 90s anymore.
@@hellkitty1014 jeeps were okay till they got sold out twice.... Maybe the engines are okay, but everything else is crap, why do you think on just about every publication they rank near the last , and jeeps always have at least 6 or 7 models in the top 20 vehicles not to buy for a reason..hell they can't even make a hemi without major cam issues.
@@hellkitty1014 30 seconds of searching on the internet (with a straight face) will show you that Jeep is in the bottom 5 overall for resale value after 5 years. That's out of 30 + car manufacturers. Ram and Chrysler are also in that bottom 5 and all under the Stellantis banner.
The wrangler has the highest resale of any vehicle.
@@WaterDR-tw8re that’s cool! If this was a wrangler and not a grand Cherokee video that might mean something. But take Jeep as a whole company and it’s nearly last in resale and reliability.
It's ok but would trade the new Tahoe for it
I don’t understand why someone hasn’t taken a Hurricane engine and put it in wrangler so we can really see what it does. All these videos with it in everything but a Wrangler is silly.
Beautiful but a pass for me. Jeep has come a long way, but I don’t see the value for it.
100k.... 15 mpg.... big yikes
A vehicle that holds 8 people only has cargo space for 3. Nope.
This is luxury for the rich spoiled kids LOL getting their own USBs, leather and own vent in the 3rd row.. when I was a kid I was crammed in the back small ass seat with my brother
Am i crazy or 22" wheels is crazy and non logical
Sounds bad, won't be significantly better mpg, and not as reliable. No thanks
Nobody is paying six figures for a Jeep.
Looks great sounds great but the elephant in the room is the reliability and long-term quality of jeep and Chrysler products don’t be fooled
The thing to remember is this - Ever since FCA merged with Chrysler, ridiculous amounts of cash have been poured into Jeep, as well as RAM. A decade on, and investment remains high in Jeep and Ram. The sales speak for themselves- customer loyalty and ridiculous resale values demonstrate how far these vehicles have come in overall quality & reliability. RAM leapfrogged Chevrolet to become the #2 truck brand in America- for the first time EVER, and they're not looking back. Worldclass transmissions provided by ZF are the industry gold-standard for long-term reliability, nearly every Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM/Alfa etc. use ZF transmissions- another advantage over competitors. These new I6 twin-turbo engines are overbuilt- robust in every way you would want. All-forged internals combined with the Inline architecture provide an engine naturally balanced, built to go the distance. The old Jeep 4.0 I6 was also indestructible, as most I6 engines tend to be. Its a design that lends itself to longevity.
Like anyone who buys a $100k+ vehicle is keeping it “long term”. Heck, most people don’t keep a $28,000 Camry for 15 years anymore.
Plus there is warranty so five years should be fine as long as you're not not driving hard for the first 30K miles
$103k for a Jeep 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
103k for a Dodge? Hahahahahah. It will be worth 20k in 5years.
Also a wallet changer.
Ben, slow down. You sound wired.
Tied with new tundra for ugliest new vehicle you can buy.
That is SUCH an UGLY VEHICLE !! Looks like a Box with 4 wheels! 🤢🤢🤮🤮
Bro could’ve gone for this one, got a defender instead LOL. Never trusting his reviews ever again.
