Love the Wagoneer....floats down the road over bumps and quiet. Steering very easy makes the big SUV feel small. Sits on a 2500 frame so kids and wife are safer while on the road.
LOVED you calling out those "brand-nomers"! I hate that crap! They all talk their crap as if their "BRAND" is absolutely flawless and perfect, which is impossible. I've been Mopar my entire life, and all of the good FAR outweighs the little gremlins and annoyances. I'm on my third Powerwagon right now, and it's not my third because I got rid of the previous two because of problems, it's just about upgrading to newer models and getting newer gadgets and gizmo's and features. I really love the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer and I'm sure one of those is in my near future as we have a big family with lots of stuff and we like to travel. I just gotta check the tow capacity and towing reviews for the RV pulling.
You’re right. Every brand will have warranty issues. No one is perfect. You just hope the vehicle you get has a limited amount of gremlins and if you do, fix it and keep rolling
Please share a link to the 2024 Wagoneer. I've only seen info on the 2024 electric version. I can't believe the 2022/2023's Wagoneer Series 3 don't have power fold mirrors as an option. Only available with the Grands. Is that standard in the 2024's? With a vehicle that wide, it should be standard. Thanks!
OMG tell me about it. I bought a 2022 Wagoneer S3 and I was disgusted with the fact it didn't have folding mirrors. I thought that was bs smdh. Should have been standard at that price.
Yep, my AF retired Dad taught us to top off the tank. I always do, same rational. LOL. We're moving my kiddo into college next month and need a larger vehicle to move her in. I'm just going to rent a vehicle but cargo space is definitely needed. Thanks for the video.

Hey man! I just stumbled across your channel. I have a video for you to watch. Auto Auction Rebuilds Grand Wagoneer experience and see how much miles he put in a month. Just saying maybe you would want to watch that idk. Cool video man! Have a great day!
I got my new-to-me series 1 2022 Wagoneer with 44k miles for $28k (had moderate hail damage) because of your video! Very in-depth and showed what I was mainly interested in. I had a 19 Ram Laramie with a panoramic roof, which I miss more than anything! I got a 2022 because I wanted the Hemi. I do not want the TTi6 engine, the jury is still out on that engine. I may look to trade up in the next few years, hopefully Stellantis brings back the hemi.
I have an 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with a 5.7 what's a multi-displacement engine and I can also use regular 87 octane gas or 91 and sometimes I use e85 and it still runs great it's how you take care of it and it's paid off too
@@Crusaderhun Can you educate me, please? I've watched a lot of X7 reviews here on UA-cam and its like one of the best ride in terms of comfort, interior quality, and technology. Then here you are saying that the Grand Wagoneer is an upgrade? What am I missing? Thanks in advance 👍
@@goochigoochs3836 It's an upgrade in size, power, towing capability and cargo capacity. Also the X7s 3rd row is more for emergencies or small kids, the GW's 3rd row can be used by anyone. Interior quality is very similar, bmw is better at some stuff, while the GW is better at others. I really comes down to size at the end of the day
Listen TY for actually exploring Chicago! I moved there in 2020, being from Wisconsin I knew it was an awesome place to be. He said it, it’s clean!!! I worked in the east coast and lived in Philly for 8 months and lemme tell you it’s day and night! ❤❤❤
Grand Wagoneer S3 Obsidian owner here! Totally get what you mean with the Uconnect… very buggy. Actually had the entire screen replaced because it was so slow. I’ve had my share of issues with it… 7 service appointments for random issues not including the 3 recalls YTD. Don’t regret buying it in the slightest love the 6.4. What’s your reasoning for not liking the 6.4?
Had a lot of 6.4L owners hit me up back when I had the SRT to tell me they experienced the lifter issue. That failure is an expensive one. I was shocked at how many people experience that, so it turned me away from that engine permanently
@@EastCoastJeepSRT I can't afford it but I can dream...lol I have a friend that wants to purchase a SUV and they've been looking at them and it just so happened I came across your video!!!

We just use it for road trips across Venezuela which is my country and right here we love the Jeep brand. This right here was a great video. New subscriber. Have a good one and keep enjoying your Jeep.
Was behind a new Grand Wagoner painted in black with chrome shinny wheels and trim while waiting in line to get my hamburger at Carls Jr. I am in my baby Promaster City van. One: that big Jeep is really big! Two: it’s a beautiful really good looking Jeep. Did I mention it was really big?
The reason why there aren't guardrails in most western states is because of snow removal. You can't push the snow off the road(s) if there are guardrails.
sounds as if westernersknow how to keep it on th road. We're in the east and there are many mountain roads without guardrails. We don't fall off here either. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂@EastCoastJeepSRT
I had a 2016 Ram Rebel, UConnect was an issue even then. Always had Bluetooth connectivity issues. Some days it would work, half the time it wouldn’t. Surprised they still haven’t gotten it right yet.
Hmmm.. You have a Wagoneer which means it has the 5.7L Hemi in there The recommended fuel for the Wagoneer is 89 octane but will run on 87 octane just fine. Premium fuel is not required. So you are incorrect in saying yours needs premium only. The only one that needs premium is the Grand Wagoneer with the 6.4L Hemi, which you do not have.
Octane ratings vary from state to state. Jeep recommends 89 minimum for the 5.7, although it “can” use 87 its not recommended. So technically you call anything under 91 octane “midrange” unless it’s 87 which would be considered “regular”. Not all gas has 10% Ethanol across the country either, and if you’ve ever raced anything in your life you know testing gas will tell you that just because the gas station says it’s “X” doesn’t mean it’s always good. So with the 5.7 I go with 91 minimum, Premium, because the higher octane is recommended. Don’t pull out technical specs here guy. You’re not talking to someone that doesn’t know what he’s talking about. No one says “midrange”. Anything not regular is premium gas. smfh
@@EastCoastJeepSRT fyi I have and still do run regular 87 octane in every 5.7l I have ever owned. Really the only engines that actually require 91 is the super charged hell cat engines and the new I6
I have a 2022 with the 5.7L and I recently rented a 2023 with the twin tubos and that's the worst thing Jeep did to this vehicle. The new Wagoneers and Grand Wagoneer no longer comes with the Hemi 5.7L or the 6.2L. The average mile I got was 13.5 mpgs on the highway
I have U-connect in my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, 2022, and my Chrysler 300c Platinum 2019, never a problem. We just bought a new Grand Wagoneer with a 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane inline-six that is outstanding and has the latest U-Connect system. Ours is not the L, it is the Series 3 regular length and I too am sick to death of people telling me Jeep has issues. I have never owned anything but Chrysler vehicles and the only problem I have had is a faulty battery in a 2015 Chrysler 300c, which was replaced under warranty.

@@EastCoastJeepSRT they host the auto show there. When you said Illinois Center I thought McCormick center by default, forgetting there's actually an Illinois Center off Michigan Ave too lol.
That six cylinder has major problems with overheating. Chrysler has used it for 4 years in the Jeep and did nothing about the problem. Now they they are putting it in the Ram. Just recently they have started to warranty the engine but have not addressed the thermostat which is the problem. Typical Chrysler BS. My diehard Dodge buddy just bought a new Ram with the 6 and got talked into buying a $4000 extended warranty to cover the engine problem that the Dodge Boys should be addressing, not selling warrenties to cover the crap they are producing. Plus don't forget the ECU problems they aren't fixing either.
Good video. With my growing family I was looking at either Tahoe or ford expedition and completely left out the wagoneer. Are you glad you went with the wagoneer compared to other large suvs like the expedition or Tahoe? I may need to reconsider the wagoneer especially with he longer version. With your next Wagoneer I would recommend getting the front PPF’d. Would give you peace of mind knowing you can can spray and wipe with some elbow grease and not scratch up the paint. Brave family doing that road trip with a baby !
I’ve rented the Tahoe and Suburban, but never the Expedition. The seats inside the Wagoneer are very similar to a Suburban or Tahoe, and the space is crazy big. Definitely happy we went with it, and ppf is a must! We just never thought we’d take this car that far across country!
When we do road-trips in our 23 GW III, we remove the middle seat in the second row. Yes, that is exactly why we got the 2ed row seat option. Having that seat removed allows for easier access for the kids.
I have an expedition and a Sierra 1500 Denali ( same seats as in suburban/ Yukon/ Tahoe). I would like to say that seats in GM are not comfortable. Front seats are too short, lacking thigh support. Stepping into the expedition, instantly you feel the seat is more plushy. Hope this helps you.😊
@@darrint2350so you bought the bench but remove that middle seat for temporary captain seats? I know people do this in expeditions. Didn’t release you could in the wagoneer.
I recently took a 15 Hour Rd. trip from Florida to Indianapolis in a Ford expedition. I did not let it drop below half. Something about keeping it full.

Nope. They gave us $44k for the Durango. We paid $48 a year earlier. We wrote a check for the other $49k. They offered me $45k for my Trackhawk, so I sold it on Facebook Marketplace for $95k with 50001 miles on it. 🤷🏻♂️
I love my wagoneer! I’ve had no issues if anything I’m going to trade it and get the carbide or obsidian because I want black on black everything ! Best suv I’ve owned so far! I got rid of my Tahoe for the wagoneer.

While an Uber driver here in Las Vegas traffic l’m lucky to keep a 1/4 of tank of gas. It cost over $100 dollars 💸 to fill the tank. ⛽️😳 I served in the Army Reserves and the US Navy. 🇺🇸 Thanks for your service!
I was in your shoes. It was either the Wagoneer or the Tahoe LT (my budget). The Tahoe didn’t even come close. Interior style, standard features, sound system, driving experience, etc. not even close. Wagoneer beats it all day.

New follower here. I enjoyed your video. I have a 2023 grand cherokee and its got 10000 miles. The starter gets stuck sometimes when I push the button. Did your wagoneer do this?
So your upgrading to the Wagoneer L with the new hurricane engine as well. If you ever have to reset the radio hood the power and tuner button for a few seconds.
You summa...I swear to Jesus!! I'm glad I came across this video. I'm talking my wife into getting a wagoneer as her new vehicle. She will def be watching this. Thank you for such an honest review. Absolutely loved it.
Never had a issue with my uconnect. Had screen delamination, but never a glitch with software. If I was going to king size my suv, I'd probably after towards Cadillac. But Durango is big enough for my needs and I still get to keep my SRT driving experience.
Hey, a couple things. Our 23 GW IIi came with 22” wheels. The spare is a useless 18”. I never had issues with gas. I drive it almost to empty and at time I got the warning light. I averaged 15mpg over the 11k miles.
Although the spare has 18" wheels, the sidewalls on that tire are taller than the thin profile on the 22 inch wheels. Therefore, both tires have the same circumference and diameter. It's not "useless".
I'm looking at the 2024 Grand Cherokee, just waiting for it to be announced. Currently have a 2016 Cherokee that has been flawless. Just 51000 miles, but other than tires, brakes, oil changes and inspections, nothing else wrong with it to date. Although looking at your interior, wish they would use less black piano pieces on the newer SUVs. You can see all the dust and finger prints. Like to see carbon fiber or even more leather on some of those surfaces.
The Grand Cherokee has always been the best looking non-luxury SUV. The Wagoneer's exterior is very vanilla and has ZERO charisma. They could've incorporated some of the old Wagoneer features to make it resemble the iconic old Wagoneer shape. Picture John Candy's Wagoneer in "The Great Outdoors" with a modern flare.

Hi handsome. Great channel and car review. A couple of questions: 1st , Im 46 years old , do you recommend joining the army for 2 or 4 years? 2nd , how did your cabin handle the outside noises? 3rd was the cabin sealed from dust and wind ? 4th would you consider getting a 2024 Lexus GX 550 Luxury + or the GX overtrail + ?
1) Age doesn’t matter. Can you pass the PT test for your age group? 6 push ups, 26 sit ups, and a 24 minute 2 mile run is what you’ll need for your age group. 2. The Wagoneer’s canine handles outside noise incredibly well. It’s very quiet inside. 3. No dust or wind gets in. 4. Neither. Don’t know anything about them so I couldn’t give you an honest opinion.

Abe Froman the sausage king of Chicago and possibly the most legendary valet movie scene EVER!!!
So then you are a brand-nomer too, huh? Ironic, isn't it?
Love to hear about your road trip but DAMN 30 minutes just to find out you love it and upgrading 😂😂
“Listen Scooter” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@laelnoni we just got back from a trip to Maine this past weekend. 8.5 hour drive, and now tomorrow we’re driving to Florida. Taking this truck the entire length of the East Coast in two weeks and love it!
Good information. Glad to see another new video from you.
Thank you for educating me as I am looking at purchasing one of the Grand Wagoneer L. I appreciate you
You sound like you're a Texan with an east coast accent. 😝 Great review!
I have an 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with a 5.7 what's a multi-displacement engine and I can also use regular 87 octane gas or 91 and sometimes I use e85 and it still runs great it's how you take care of it and it's paid off too
You broke my heart, then mended it with upgrading!!! I'm seriously thinking of the Wagoneer vs the X7!!
What did you decide on? I have an x7 and thinking about upgrading to the grand wagoneer
@goochigoochs3836 my best advice would be to go test drive one for yourself and see. Super comfortable ride, and extremely nice. We love it!
I really comes down to size at the end of the day
@@Crusaderhun Ah! Thank makes sense.
Thank you so much!
I haven't watched any of your videos in a while, good to hear your voice and hope all is good.
Shhhh don't tell people about Chicago. 😉
The bug issue happens to all road trip models stop whining 🙄
Listen TY for actually exploring Chicago! I moved there in 2020, being from Wisconsin I knew it was an awesome place to be. He said it, it’s clean!!! I worked in the east coast and lived in Philly for 8 months and lemme tell you it’s day and night! ❤❤❤
Welcome to the Midwest where the bugs fly wild. We only worry about bug removal when I have trouble seeing out of the windshield 😂
Loved the video!!! Would you recommend the Grand Wagoneer or just the standard Wagoneer? Thanks again for service ☺️
Grand all the way if your budget allows it.
@@EastCoastJeepSRT I can't afford it but I can dream...lol I have a friend that wants to purchase a SUV and they've been looking at them and it just so happened I came across your video!!!
In my family we have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Limited 2010 with 107.000 miles on it and we love it. We just use it for road trips across Venezuela which is my country and right here we love the Jeep brand. This right here was a great video. New subscriber. Have a good one and keep enjoying your Jeep.
Did your family purchase this car new or used?
Was behind a new Grand Wagoner painted in black with chrome shinny wheels and trim while waiting in line to get my hamburger at Carls Jr. I am in my baby Promaster City van. One: that big Jeep is really big! Two: it’s a beautiful really good looking Jeep. Did I mention it was really big?
Great video, definitely a must watch if planning on getting a Wagoneer
Great video. How would you compare it to the 2021 Tahoe and the ford Expeditions?
The reason why there aren't guardrails in most western states is because of snow removal. You can't push the snow off the road(s) if there are guardrails.
Weird. We have guardrails and get lots of snow. They plow it right up to and over the rails.
sounds as if westernersknow how to keep it on th road.
Anything not regular is premium gas. smfh
This dude sounds like a total meat head with very little car knowledge .
Depends on what year. The new Wagoneers have the 3.0L high output Hurricane engine which does require 91.
That’s awful.
what do you mean was the worst? changing the V8 for the inline 6?
As a Chicagoian (born and raised), im so glad your visit here changed your worldview on us as a city. It truly is a magnificent city that gets its name drug through the mud by the media. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Were you at the McCormick center by any chance?
I don’t believe we visited that center but do plan on revisiting Chicago down the road so maybe in the future
@@EastCoastJeepSRT they host the auto show there. When you said Illinois Center I thought McCormick center by default, forgetting there's actually an Illinois Center off Michigan Ave too lol.
I miss hearing "you think that you are fast? You're not fast".
Having that seat removed allows for easier access for the kids.
we traded in our ‘22 Z71 for a BASE model Wagoneer….still driving the wagoneer. there ya go. haha
So glad Itook time to listen to your video. Heard so much negativity about JEEP. Every car has something wrong with it, thats why we are given warranties. I gonna trade in my JEEP CHEROKEE L fo a WAGONEER, Thanks for the heads up.
I was considering a new GW. How well does your truck fit in Your garage?
Good review. I like your neighborhood. We're a military family also - dad was army then airforce. I'm contractor.
I have a 2020 ram with the 8.4 inch screen and never had one bug with the unconnected screent its always there and solid. What do you think of the new inline 6 hurricane engine in all ram 1500 and help wagoneer and Grand wagoneer.

Haven’t had a chance to actually drive one with that engine in it so I cannot comment on it as of yet
I bet his trading value was half of what he paid for it
You really dumped a Tahoe for it? Please tell me everything about the Wagoneer. I’m on the edge about it.
So did you trade it in yet? Looking forward to seeing a review on the new one. 😊
The good old days of going off-road and not worrying about it.
I rented one for a two week cross country trip to arizona. Just picked it up today. Im trying to learn how to use all the stuff.
@@christinaherren you’re gonna love it! Especially out that way because when we went to Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and Zion, we saw a lot of them driving around. Are you familiar with ACC “Adaptive Cruise Control”? If you’re gonna drive long distances it’s good to use. Other than that you can store extra water, baby diapers if you have a little one, or just extra stuff under the back deck. Move the rear floor liner if it has one and lift up on the handle.
@@EastCoastJeepSRT never used adaptive cruise control. Will check it out.
There’s a 2022 wagoneer here in Chicago for $33K 68K miles on it. Seems like a good deal for what it is. (It was a rental. That’s why the high miles in short time) I’m 27 w some money saved up and I wanted to get it. I love how it looks. Is it a good idea?

Great presentation..am getting the grand cherokee 4×4 L technology
I wish the Wagoneer would’ve got the EcoDiesel, with a 30 gallon tank for at least 2-3 years before discontinuing it.
Hell no! The ecodiesel was a bust
I took my 2012 Jeep Liberty across the country without a problem. She had 150,000 miles with a rebuilt transmission. Extra large trunk. Extra clean and in new condition in silver gray!
She can tow up to 5,000 lbs.
The Jeep Liberty was designed to replace the classic Cherokee. I get about 15 city 🏙️ and 25 highway 🛣️
Whenever l travel 🧳 l keep at least 1/2 tank of gas.
While an Uber driver here in Las Vegas traffic l’m lucky to keep a 1/4 of tank of gas.
It cost over $100 dollars 💸 to fill the tank. ⛽️😳

Beast!
I dont need an SUV that big but if I did the Wagoneer would certainly be at the top of the list
As a Chevrolet guy, I’m strongly considering a Wagoneer. What’s your opinion to take me over the hump?
I was in your shoes. It was either the Wagoneer or the Tahoe LT (my budget). The Tahoe didn’t even come close. Interior style, standard features, sound system, driving experience, etc. not even close. Wagoneer beats it all day.
Get a Yukon ……

Hey, the rental didnt say anything about premium. What happens if i use regular?
Nothing. Completely fine. Literally not gonna see any issues. I can’t edit the video, but was incorrect about what octane to use. Use 87.

You summa...I swear to Jesus!! I'm glad I came across this video. I'm talking my wife into getting a wagoneer as her new vehicle. She will def be watching this. Thank you for such an honest review. Absolutely loved it.
She will LOVE it!
My girlfriends having problem after problem with everything and they can't even get parts for it 😢
Although the spare has 18" wheels, the sidewalls on that tire are taller than the thin profile on the 22 inch wheels. Therefore, both tires have the same circumference and diameter. It's not "useless".
Just got the wife a new 2024 with 20k off MSRP and 0% finance 🎉. I also have a Trackhawk 😊
Use bags not suitcase. Saves room.
@@unlimit3d656 would be really odd and difficult carrying bags to a hotel room once we got to our destination. Having a hard cased luggage with rollers is more convenient. We just pack lighter and do laundry when needed.

I like the dodge Durango R/T what do you feel about them good or not the all wheel drive ones
We had one. Loved it. Had to get rid of it after a year due to an electrical issue they couldn’t fix
Had to laugh about the prehistoric bug comments. We have a 2018 Yukon and took it from NE Ohio to Portland OR. The front end was a complete bug mess. Love that truck!
Oh and by the way, dont worry about uconnect. There was a huge improvement between my 19 ram and my actual 22. They’ll fix it up!
I won’t hold my breath, my 21 Durango hellcat is still needing rebooting daily and the wagoneer needs rebooted every few weeks. My 21 ram has been perfect

My wife is looking to buy a wagoneer, how important to buy base vs II vs III VS grand wagoneer
Thanks for your service
I'm now on my 3rd Jeep in a row and zero uconnect issues with any of them. We also have an Acura that does have plenty of infotainment issues.
