We have this trailer! We love it! FYI that is not a light on the back it is a vent. There is also a LP hook up on the door side near the outlet under the trailer. I love the dark colouring . I decorated with colourful decor to brighten it up. I am 4 foot 11 inches and have no problems with the storage. We normally eat outside at the picnic table but if it is raining we have 2 folding chairs that we use to eat at the table. I would highly recommend this trailer for a couple. Would we have liked a bigger trailer yes, but this one is small even to be parked in our driveway when we are not gone camping.
Thanks so much for sharing your perspective and how you make it work. Glad you are enjoying your trailer so much. We really like the idea of the 2 folding chairs it solves the biggest problem for us. Great idea. Thanks for watching.
We also have this trailer and love it! Another option for dining - we have 2 folding stools and sit at the counter in front of the television. Works great!
@@robinmccune3438 We are glad you are loving your trailer. It just goes to show how individual people are and that there is the right rig out there for everyone. The counter top in front of the TV is great extra space but I think it would be tough to sit up to with the fireplace being in the way of your legs but if it works for you then great that's all that matters. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and watching.
A tad on the small side but a really good fit if you have a 1/2 ton for a tow vehicle.. Sure you could tow something bigger with a 1/2 ton but this would be a very easy comfortable rig to tow. Low stress is best.. This unit with it's floor plan hits a sweet spot imo.
@@tommyd688 Hi Tommy I have a Ram !500 V8 HEMI Max Tow is !0,000 LBS I was wondering If I could Tow this easy around the states if I stay around 7,200 LBS .I don't want to be bucking hills with trouble or head winds Please share your thoughts Thank You
I'm a little late to this thread but I've had the 2018 version of this coach since July 2018. It is nearly identical and has same the decor, with the theater seating option. This model came standard with the dinette and IPO stands for In Place Of. I like the dark decor and the theater seating. I LOVE this trailer in general and I regularly sleep 4 and have had 6 in emergency bad weather. My mom camps with us occasionally and she's 4'11" and prefers to sleep in the heated, massaging recliner. My daughter and her husband are much too tall for the recliners so, when they join us, a power driver and some muscle fixes it. The theater seating is designed to come apart and FITS THROUGH THE DOOR! I take the sofa out on those trips and use folding chairs and tv-trays that fit in the pass-through but we don't usually eat in the trailer. At night, two big camping cots fit side-by-side in the living area or a queen sized air mattress. Since I can get to the bathroom without crawling through the extra sleeping space, it works. They would never fit in a converted dinette. Bonus: this was, by far, the most versatile floor plan I could find that came with a coach small and light enough that I didn't have to buy a new truck. Downside: having two grey tanks is a pain. Upside: having a huge (relative term) bathroom in the middle of the trailer is awesome.
Thank you so much for your owner's perspective. We are thrilled that you love your trailer. That's how it's supposed to feel. Everyone has their own wants, needs and priorities and it is so cool to hear that you have made everything work for you. Thanks for sharing and for watching.
Awesome this is great to hear. You would also like our latest drivable the Nexus Viper as it also had the theatre seats with no dinette. If you are looking many others would have this seating as an option so if you find something you like just ask and you may be able to get it. Thanks for watching
We have it and love it. Likes; huge bathroom. Huge amount of storage, ducted heat (no floor vents), electric heat fireplace, heated and massaging theater seating, garbage can door, excellent water pressure on pump, motion sensor lights, bright area lights for living area. Full 60x80 queen bed. Dislikes; seperate gray tank dump. Small bathroom fan, small oven, no 12V outlets, we added 3 outlets, 2 in bedroom for our CPAPs. We don't mind eating at the theater seating, far better than the uncomfortable dinette option. We added solar panels, slide out awning
Awesome, it's always great to hear from owners what they like or don't on their rigs. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy yourself out there. Thanks for watching.
Works for me; it is just the wife & I, and the single bed & the lack of dinette work perfectly for us. We actually really like this layout for traveling to dog shows.
Yay! Glad to hear it. That's the beauty of floor plan choices you can always find one that suits you and your personal priorities. Glad you liked this one. Thanks for watching.
We have this camper and LOVE it. Best floor plan we’ve ever had. This is our first empty nest camper and we are loving how small and manageable it is. Tons and tons of storage. We prefer to eat outside but do eat inside in poor weather - and it’s not ideal. The bathroom has perfect storage to roll towels. Sitting and reading in front of the fireplace on a chilly rainy day is wonderful. What we love the most is the bathroom layout - so much space. We decorated the camper with colors to brighten it up. We are both tall so I guess we never noticed the high placement of things that would be difficult for shorter people. One fantastic feature- full access to everything when the slide is in. When stopped at a rest stop or overnight- that’s a big deal for us. We have been RVing for 15 years. So we chose this camper based on what works for us. Thanks for taking the time to do a walk thru review.
This is awesome to hear. We love it when owner's share their experience. There is no other way to choose a rig but based on what works for you. You are the best person to know what you need and look how good it turned out. I can only imagine how nice it is to sit in front of that fire on a cool day and having full access is a must for us too. So glad you are having fun with your rig. Where to next?
Glad you liked it and its great to hear that you like the dark decor too. We know you folks are out there we just don't hear from you as often. Thanks for watching.
Love the dark decor. I like rich, shiny, dark wood. Furniture color too. Would much prefer a U- shaped dinette. I just have a hard time switching to grand design. I'm a rookwood/flagstaff Fan. Seems they are much more generous w,solar, propane tanks. Manual Jack's. Don't cut it.. 20 gal propane tanks tell me loads. Why is that an issue? I love longer lasting propane tanks. RW offers great outside kitchen's, even on there smallest units. GD is great at storage. Draws galore. That's nice. I just think u get a better deal & a quality camper. Love your detailed info.thanks Y'ALL. 💘 🇨🇱... 1st. Fireplace I've seen in GD. Freedom express is my next choice. Wish Y'ALL would feature FE.. good job.
No worries manufacturers know that some folks love the dark cabinetry and we think it will continue to be an design choice for the future. We would like a dinette as well. We also love Rockwood/Flagstaff, we find there are pros and cons between them all. We think the issues with smaller propane tanks are that they are cheaper and lighter weight. Remember everything comes down to weight. GD does have lots of fireplaces but maybe more so on larger models. It's ok that you love Rockwood/Flagstaff they are great to and what we love about the RV industry is that there really is so much choice for buyers. We have reviewed a number of Freedom Expresses here are a couple of links ua-cam.com/video/x5wbJOYoIJY/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/Xc6Lzwx9WZM/v-deo.html and there are more. Glad to hear you are enjoying our channel, thanks for watching
I love this floorplan! And, I really like the pop up tv and the fireplace - must have a fireplace! You didn't tell us the MSRP #! That's what I like to know.
Glad you liked it. It really did have a lot of great features. Sorry that we did not include the price on this one. A 2021 seems to be coming in at around $38000 US dollars. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
On the “oh it’s one of those” shower doors just so you know the material is quite strong and durable plus it has a self squeegee system and the excess water drains back in the drain. So no you don’t have to air it out or make sure it’s dry before retracting it. I think you missed some cabinets on the right side of the shower. I’m tall so nothing is too tall, plus we don’t know your height for references. The dinette of course have some uses but they are so uncomfortable and just don’t want to try to sprawl out and try to get comfortable watching TV. This is also a couples trailer don’t want to put an uncomfortable dinette just on the rare chance that we might just happen to have someone stay the night. It’s just not meant for guest and that’s just fine for some people. I don’t have this TT but I do have a Grand Design without a dinette and “one of those” shower doors and love it! Thanks for the tour!
You are correct so far, as we have been asking owners for a long time how they like the shower door material and squeegee and so far so good. We still think it is kind of flimsy and we would prefer a curtain but to each their own, we do always remind everyone that our reviews come from our own experiences and opinions which may be different than your's. Any system that collects water needs to be aired out or have a place for the water to go and will need to be cleaned hence our choice of a curtain. It is absolutely possible that there were some cabinets behind the toilet. It is wonderful for you that you are tall, not everyone is and once you get to know us more by watching more videos and reading comments you will find that I am 5' tall. The dinette issue is all about wants, needs and priorities. Ours are different than yours and that's ok. Neither your preference nor mine are a fact it is an opinion and couples RVs with dinettes are more versatile and easier to resell but it's great that you like your's without one. It's all about finding the right RV for you that suits your personal preferences which can be completely different than someone else's, that's why RV manufacturers offer us so many choices. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching
@@DoesSizeMatter yes some people may prefer a shower curtain that’s why there is an option, the top bar enables you to use a shower curtain if you prefer a curtain instead of the retractable shower door, so you can use one or the other. What I don’t understand is that you said you have talked to other owners who have actually used and experienced this type of door who have said so far so good yet because you “think” it’s flimsy without actual personal experience you would still rather go with your own inexperienced opinion, while saying these reviews are based on your own experiences and opinions. In this case you have a lot of opinions but not much experiences other than the height issues. I was just confused about the part of the title that says unbiased RV review, it was very biased towards your own personal opinion, which as you said everyone’s opinions are different. Also, although I wouldn’t use them but the dog dishes are removable, just because they are stored in there doesn’t mean you have to actually feed them in the drawer, I do know people who store their dogs food in the bowls then remove them when feeding. I have a drawer under my stove for pans as many do but it doesn’t mean I have to use the pans in the drawer only. Really not interested in how couples RV’s without dinettes are not versatile and don’t have good resale value we just bought it so I can stay in it while having chemo five hours away from my family and home but hey thanks for sharing that bit of pleasant and positive tidbit of information! Have a good evening!
We always say to each his own but ya dinette for us. I think the bathroom having 2 large doors as it does takes away a lot of storage space in there. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and watching.
Schwinteck systems are best used when the contents of the slide aren't too heavy. In this slide is the fridge, pantry and fireplace/TV so we think it is not too big or heavy for the system but it certainly is something to consider. We liked the double door too. Thanks for watching.
I see this as a great option being that every other travel trailer I've looked at forces you to have a dinette as well as lighter colored cabinetry. Dont they have about two other models the same size with the dinette. Thanks for the detailed walkthrough.
Thanks for sharing your opinion and I think you are right. The theatre seating is a good option for the right person and the dinette is an option on this floor plan if a person wants it. You are right dinettes are what we see most commonly because they are the most versatile, being eating, working and sleeping space, and they suit the majority of buyers so if nothing else this shows buyers they don't have to have the dinette if they don't want it. They don't even have to go to a different floor plan but you are right there are plenty to choose from. Traditionally, rvs have had darker cabinetry and upholstery and the market is demanding lighter colours so that is why you are seeing so much of it presently. Consumer demand drives the trends but you for sure can still get the darker stuff if it is what you are looking for. Again as we always say there is a right RV out there for everyone. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
How does the Imagine compare in quality to Rockwood Mini Lites and Winnebago Micro Minnies? Imagine uses OSB floor decking vs tongue & groove plywood in the other two. Also, Imagine doesn’t Vacumm bond their walls & roof whereas Rockwood does (not sure about Micro Minnies for this, but I did hear they were now being made with Azdel). There may be other differences, too. I worry about future issues with Delamination and spongy floors. Also, would you recommend no slides for any travel trailer to avoid possible leaks, repairs, etc.?
Hey there, so in comparison the Imagine is using OSB but as I mentioned it is marine grade and they don't have openings in the floor for venting which helps to maintain the floors integrity and the floor joists are on 16" centers with block foam insulation which helps to give structure and strength but it does do this through the pinch roll lamination process. The micro minnie has T&G plywood with joists on 12" centers and uses fiberglass insulation but has openings in the floors for venting and will not be laminated. I have been doing research on the Rockwood but still have lots of questions and I am hoping to talk with the rep tomorrow, so keep your finger crossed for me please. What I have learned is that the floor joists seem to only run length wise which I don't really understand so I am working on that. The fibreglass wool insulation is rolled down and the aluminum frame is laid on top of it and then the T&G plywood goes down with gluing and screwing, no lamination. But what I notice with this is that the insulation does not fill the space between the joists it just kind of is on one side and didn't seem adhered to anything, which I worry about with fiberglass insulation. Although there is something to be said for air in a space being an insulator too. This is also not laminated. I will try to see if there is venting breaks in the floor tomorrow. Imagine and Winnebago are pinch rolling and Rockwood is vacuum bonding which we think is a better process. Imagine walls are studded on 16" centers and neither the Winnebago or Rockwood are but all 3 are framing out all openings and supporting those openings with aluminum. I have heard Minnies are going to Azdel too and I have also heard they are moving away from the superior thick fibreglass exterior. More questions I will ask tomorrow. Anything laminated has a risk of delamination but they really are perfecting this process more and more and I do not hear about it so much anymore as it happened on the older units. Check out more forums and ask owners. We have to admit we do like the torsion axels on the Rockwood. As far as spongy floors you have to ask yourself about the support that is present and what is under the unsupported spaces and how likely is it that the floor system could get water in it? As for our opinion on slides. Hmmmm? What we can tell you is there are pros and cons and each individual is going to make some things a bigger priority and it will push you one way or the other. Yes having more openings and more moving pieces puts you at higher risk for problems with function or water damage. We know this first hand because we just had a costly repair due to a break of a tiny part in our slide BUT our Beaver is 15yrs old with 4 slides and other then some small hydraulic leaks this is the first problem it has ever had with a slide and we double our living space with 4 slides. Yes there is more to take care of but did I mention we double our living space! We love them and the care and maintenance is totally worth it us. Now saying that there are varying levels of quality of slide build and mechanisms. You want slides that are built the same as the rig itself. You want to make sure the seal systems are good and you should inspect and make sure they are in good shape. You want to be sure the slide mechanism is appropriate for the weight of the slide and depending whether it is electric or hydraulic there is different costs and dependability/strength to think about. It is also important to make sure the rig has slide awning toppers and that the floor plan is functional with slides in too. So for us we think slides are worth it but if you want to keep things really simple they are lots of great trailers out there with no slides. Airstream has no problem selling theirs so lots of people are doing it. Sorry for the long winded answer but I wanted to touch on all of things you had asked. Thanks for checking in with us for our opinions we appreciate that you spend your time on our channel. Thanks for watching.
Does Size Matter Thank you so much for all the detailed information you’ve supplied so far. That’s what I love about your channel. You dig deeper into what people can’t see (the construction) instead of just what people can see (the counter tops, storage, etc.). I agree that at least one slide out will probably be worth the risk and maintenance for us since we would want the space, too. Also, regarding floor venting, we don’t like it either because it compromises the floor’s integrity as well as because it collects dirt & pet hair (we have dogs). From what I’ve learned about Rockwood Min Lites ( or their sister Flagstaff Micro Lites) and Winnebago Micro Minnies (the 7 ft. wide ones, not the Minnies), they do not have floor venting. I’ll definitely be thinking of you all as you investigate further at the RV show. I really wanted to go to one this year, but missed out. Thank you again for all you do.
We ended up dealing with a nasty salesman so could not film the Rockwood but we did get to chat with the very knowledgeable rep and I did go inside and take a look. No floor venting and he explained how the fibreglass insulation is held in place. All in all a pretty good trailer we thought. We will try to film it at another show or dealership where the sales people are less afraid of customers hearing from unbiased people. Some places only want us filming if we are agreeing to say only what they want, others are confident enough in their product and wanting customers hear about it from any source.
Does Size Matter So sorry that you had to deal with that nasty salesman. I don’t think he realized the positive influence you can have for them through your channel. From what I’ve seen and heard of Rockwood Mini Lites, they do seem to be a better-than-usual quality travel trailer. I’ve watched some owner reviews of it on UA-cam as well as read a lot of owner reviews and forum comments online. Most of them seem to really like their Rockwood Mini Lites. They’re not perfect, but they also say that the company usually works well with them if there’s an issue. They also seem to listen to their customers in regards to making positive changes to their models each year. If you do manage to get more info eventually, I would definitely appreciate it. Thank you so much again for all you do.
@@rosemiller646 Sometimes folks are scared or maybe they have had a bad experience prior, we don't know but we appreciate that you get the work we are trying to do here. This particular salesman was making his own UA-cam videos and we think he was worried about competition and just doesn't understand how trends work on the youtube platform and he just wanted to control what viewers heard. He felt that his videos were unbiased and he would not even allow me to explain how as long as he is making money off of the sale of the product he is reviewing he can't be unbiased. It is a power and control thing. But we will just go elsewhere and review it for you. We just have to find it again. It did look like a nice trailer and we look forward to reviewing it. Stand by.
yes we have heard about the squeegee thing, which is great but I think I would want to let it air dry as much as possible too. Since you have this trailer could share with us why or in what situations you would want to remove the table? It's always good to hear different owner's perspectives. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
We didn't like the second either at first but then decided we would keep locked and use like an emergency exit and use the floor space for more storage.
We like the new cabinets but are concerned about the shower door. To be fair though we have not heard of any problems to date so maybe they are stronger than we think.
@@DoesSizeMatter idk but I think your right that door might be strong but I think moisture will either cause swelling or mold. I guess I’d put up a curtain if I had to have it. Price wise . I’d get a cougar instead I guess I’m looking at them now. Let’s face it nothing is inexpensive right now. Lol
I just looked on Grand Design’s website and saw that the Imagine XLS has a laminated floor. Is this even worse for future possible spongy, soft floor issues?
Good question and the answer is there are pros and cons to them all. The areas of concern on this particular floor are not really because of the lamination but more related to the OSB product if it were to come into contact with moisture. Now it is marine grade OSB vs just the regular OSB, meaning it has been treated to handle some water. Sagging floors are more likely to become an issue if the floor joists are too far apart, this ones are on 16" centers which is the same as a residential floor. We think another point this floor has going for it is that there are no openings like cut outs for venting that weaken the floor. All of GD venting is done through cabinetry or furniture. Hope that helps you out some. Thanks for asking and spending your time on our channel.
We would put our trash in the taller bottom cupboard next to the sink on the door side. We love that big cabinet and would hate to have to use it for garbage but we think that is where it would have to go. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching
This is probably not the "live in" model but like you said, for two people. Maybe weekend/some-times. This model doesn't have the sizzle, just the steak, you know? Thanks for the review!
We do think this model is liveable for an RV Sometimer Lifestyle or any other but ya just for 2 unless you changed that theatre seating out. Now some couples love the idea of leaning back in their recliners to eat or hang out it just wasn't for Kory and I. Thanks for your thoughts and for watching.
@@DoesSizeMatter Cross fingers will have by June. We will not hit the road for a bout two years as hubby needs to retire first. Will have plenty of time to shake down and make personal.
Perfect. Glad you liked it. This is why we always say 'there is a right rv out there for everyone'. So are you gonna get one? Let us know. Thanks for watching.
You may want to consider learning more about the shower door. If you are not aware of the specifics and the features and benefits, maybe not a good idea to communicate your reluctance about something that you have not sufficiently researched.
We are completely happy with what we have shared about the shower door. We never claim to know everything and at the time of filming, this was a fairly new type of shower door which had not been in use long and the jury is still out on it for us. Our concerns with it remain the same today. Our honest opinions are what we share and we are reluctant about that type of shower door for the exact reasons we mentioned. We are constantly learning every day and we share that in our reviews. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Hi Denise, the more brochures you read the more you’ll pick up on what manufacture lingo is used. This trailer has a booth dinette option IPO the theatre seating. Your choice of words can be confusing. Dinette can refer to table&chairs or a booth. You say Double pane windows, rv manufactures call them dual pane windows...Yeah same thing- some don’t know that. You have been saying Electric fridge...RV manufactures call them residential fridges and the (propane) gas/electrical fridge is called a RV fridge. Many manufactures differentiate the RV’s model number with a lingering ‘R’ for residential fridge. When a manufacturer does not actually label model #’s with a R for a residential fridge, the residential is 99.9% an optional. Now it’s going to be more confusing with these electrical 12 Volt fridges. So far I’m seeing only small 12volt size fridges as compared to large residential fridges, but these residential fridges are now getting smaller too. So keep the lingo and differences in mind. Love you guys 💕. Cheers 🍻.
We spend so much of our time with factory reps, dealerships and brochures on lots, at RV shows and online that our heads are beginning to spin. In fact we just completed 23 hrs at this weekends show and still have another 7 to go tomorrow and another 4 days next weekend. We appreciate your advice but are very well versed in the terminology associated with RVs. You are correct that this floor plan does have the dinette option which we mentioned we would have preferred. The term dinette only refers to the booth type of seating, the table and chairs is referred to as free standing which we also mentioned in the video description and unfortunately is not an option on this floor plan. You are also right about dual and double pane windows being the same thing and are referred to in either way or they are also called thermo pane windows. We just had that discussion today. To be very specific residential fridges are just that and are equal to what one would have in their home. You will only see these in the really large rigs and they look exactly like what you have at home. An RV fridge is a general term and it can be 12V, 2-way electric or 3-way which would include propane and come in many various sizes but the term RV fridge refers to one of the 3 main types of refrigerators. We do see that in some instances there is an R attached to the model number which could very well be related to the optional residential fridge but we can not agree that any model number without the 'R' will always have the option of a residential fridge as the majority of RVs made today will not have that option as they could never fit it into the space, don't need that size of a fridge and the power draw would be too great. We did see some nice 12v fridges today one being 5.5cu/ft. Our only real concern with the 12v, 2-way and residential fridges is the ongoing power consumption. Which is why we mention that a person needs to consider this and make sure that they have either a generator they can run frequently, be plugged in or have a good solar system that can handle the electrical demands. We do appreciate you sharing your thoughts and spending your time with us on our channel.
Does Size Matter Oh I’m sorry I forgot to mention I was talking about big rigs for the optional residential fridges, of course travel trailers don’t have that option because of their size. ‘RV’ fridge has always been referred to as the standard LP gas/ AC electric, because that was the ‘standard’ type of rv fridge included with your trailer. You either had a RV fridge (or a Residential fridge option if you had a big rig 5th). 2-way fridge = RV fridge. Not to be confused with 2-way electrical 12/24 volt. The word dinette is used as a general term, and using the word ‘dinette’ alone does not in anyway by itself refer to a booth only dinette, as it can be a free standing dinette too. Or how about free standing table and dinette chairs. Cheers 🍻
@T1gerFang You’ve got to be kidding me…I wrote my comment two years ago numb nuts pay attention. How many rv’s have you owned and shopped for? Obviously not enough. Do your homework before you shoot your mouth off and attack. Some 5th wheel manufacturers have and do refer to the table & chairs as a Dinette, it’s a fact swallow it! The word dinette came from travel trailers because they came first before 5th wheels, but if you hadn’t noticed sh*t evolves Einstein! Two years ago the 12V fridge was just coming out in travel trailers, and it was small, and rare still! therefore, the norm electric fridges WERE referred to as Residential fridges- another fact for you to swallow. And calling a fridge a two way fridge was NOT the lingo used at the time as it was called a RV Fridge. Three-way fridges were rare then and not as prevalent as they are today. Where do you think the majority of rv’s are made? So no confusion in languages here. Oh news flash these youtubers are canadian. So maybe you should pay attention when a comment is made and stop posting like your some godly gift to the universe. Have a good day.
I’ve been in those the cabinets are perfect height for me at 5’7 I’m looking directly into the second shelf. The window is to low I have to duck down to see out annoying!
It comes down to give and take right. These are small spaces and to get the storage you end up giving up window size or something else. It's tough to get the perfect balance. Thanks for watching
@@DoesSizeMatter it really is tough to find one that suits. Let’s face it it’s a big investment that won’t pay us back. We expect a lot for that sacrifice. I sold my trailer and haven’t found one yet and don’t expect to until next season so I’ve been tent and car camping. I bought one of those back seat mattresses it’s great having a lot of fun. Enjoying visiting where ever I want and paying nothing for overnights.

@@cherylyoung440 Awww, thanks we are glad you like it. It is hard work but we love sharing it with you, especially if something we have learned and shared helps you out. That would be the coolest thing. Thanks for hanging out with us.
With all due respect I feel that you are way too biased with your opinions as if certain options of this particular floorplan are negatives. Manufacturers make several different floor plans because no one certain model works for everyone. This RV actually has everything we want & need and nothing we don't . For example we actually love the dark wood and we also want theatre seating in our RV with no dinette option. It's just the two of us so it helps to keep the RV length to a minimum and allows more space in other areas. I also feel that you should be educated on the brand and all of the options and features before reviewing it.
We are so glad you watched and shared your opinion but your comment shows you need to watch our channel a little more to get to know us and know that all of our reviews come from our opinion of how we would use the RV. We do discuss trends and we always talk about 'there being a right RV out there for everyone' There are far too many travel styles, needs and priorities for one rig to be THE ONE for everyone. It just can't be. We research extensively for all of our reviews, when you watch more you will see that, try the construction videos first then go to the tours. You will learn a lot about us and our reviews that way. The GD Imagine brand is one we know very well. We always welcome comments from owners and potential buyers as it helps all of the viewers learn and decide what might be right for them. If you read through the comments section you will find that opinions similar to your's are well represented and welcomed. Just because this floor plan is not the right one for us, we are thrilled it is for you. You make good points of why you like it and if you watch the video again you will see that there were lots of things we liked about this trailer too. Thanks for joining us.
Love the review. Looked at one of these today; I appreciate your comments and opinions, whether I agree or not. One comment: please remind folks how tall you are? Lots of comments about how high things are, but for many, it may be fine. For this trailer, where does the toilet paper roll go? Hmm. Weird. Agree about the lack of extra sleeper space. Prefer a dinette as well. Worry the AC flow won’t “reach” to the bedroom very well, but perhaps it would be ok. Agree about the dog drawer. Seems weird to me. I love the height of the interior - I’m 6’2” and this is wonderful. Appreciate the two grey tanks and smaller water tank comment - I did NOT know that until you commented on it. I like the dark coloring, given the rather large amount of windows/light. Many of these “smallish” trailers with a rear bath, for instance, are much darker which less light. Thanks again!
As a salesman you very negative by commenting on things you don’t like. All the products are reachable . You discuss things that can break. I have owned several rv and just toured one of these units. It is designed as a couples rv and provides a lot of amenities. Providing extra sleeping areas is not intended, but some can sleep on the couch with the center console can be pushed back. If you want a extra bed you purchase a different model
Oh you make us chuckle, we appreciate the time you have spent watching this video but we must recommend that you watch more and get to know us, read the video descriptions and comments. We are completely unbiased reviewers which means that we make absolutely nothing off of any purchase you make. We are not sales people at all and we are simply sharing our RV reviews in order to educate folks. As we always say, our reviews are based on how we use an RV. If you read the video description you will see that we discussed that this RV was best suited to a couple and we talked about options. Please do be careful out there when you are watching RV review videos as most are done by biased sales people who do stand to make a buck if you purchase their units so please know that we will always be honest because we are not trying to sell you anything. Hope that helps, feel free to let us know if there are any other questions you may have or if we can help you in your RV research for purchase. Thanks for watching
Absolutely! You can always count on the information we share with you to be completely unbiased. We receive absolutely no payment from the dealerships or manufacturers and everything we share comes from the research that we do and our experience and opinions on how we use an RV. No worries, we got your back. Thanks for watching.
Indeed they are, for me and a lot of other people. That is why we point out what works for us and it helps others to know what will work for them and totally shows how we can still make things work. Thanks for watching.
True it's not the norm but we do see it more often then you think. We like bowls that can be tucked out of the way but we also know that our dog always had a bowl out to get a drink whenever he wanted so it would never be out of the way for us. Thanks for watching.
It’s too dark! Whomever designed the interior must have a depressing personality, I couldn’t stand being in there for any length of time. I agree about the seating arrangement a dinette would be far better. This would be a no no for me 👎👎.
As we always say, too each his own. If it's all light colours someone will tell us it feels too clinical so we just show them all and there is for sure going to be someone out there it suits as we also always say there is a right rig out there for everyone! We too would need the dinette. Thanks for watching.
@@donnabarnes8298 Awesome, we will take a look. Going to the RV Show in West Palm Beach next and then have a few dealerships we will be stopping at so we will take a look.
She has to much negativity in the whole video. Your short so get a step stool . Do your home work before you do a video first. I knew more then on this unit then you. Did not point out hardly any positive things at all.
All of our reviews are based on the hours and hours of research that we do and are shown from our individual perspective (cause that's the only one we have, right?) Each of us needs to purchase an RV with our own priorities in mind to be sure you get the right one for you, as we always say. There is no one right RV that can suit everyone that's why manufacturers make so many different ones with different options so we all can find one to have fun in. We can't tell you what you should or shouldn't buy just like you can't tell us how we should or shouldn't use an RV. We all have choices. Since you know this RV so well we look forward to seeing your very knowledgeable and experienced review when you get it filmed, edited and up on your channel to share with the world. Thanks for watching.
Bummer right? There were lots of other good things about this trailer. I really liked the kitchen it's just that particular seating arrangement wasn't for us but then other people watching have liked it. So to each his own we always say. Thanks for watching.
We’re not sure what you consider unbiased but we do not work for or receive any compensation from RV manufacturers or dealerships. Everything we share is based on our own research and opinions and that is the definition of ‘unbiased’ on our channel. Hope that helps you learn a little about us before voicing your opinions.

Oh that's great to hear. Glad we could answer questions for you. Thanks for watching.
Love this trailer - The theatre seating is perfect for us! Glad to finally see one like this! Would take it in a heart beat.
I LOVE this unit!! The dark decor is beautiful as was in our former Solitude. It’s feels very warm. Great layout
I'm a rookwood/flagstaff
Fan.
Thanks for the review. You are right about the seating. I would prefer a trifold sofa for that every once in a while guest.
Glad you liked it and we know what you mean. Thanks for watching.
I’m not sure they make this model anymore I haven’t seen it with the cabinets
True. They are not making this model anymore.
I would want the dinette option too. I'm surprised there isn't more storage in the bathroom.
We always say to each his own but ya dinette for us. I think the bathroom having 2 large doors as it does takes away a lot of storage space in there. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and watching.
Big slide for a schwintek, no? I really like the double door. Great storage! Great video as always, thanks guys.
Stand by.
The shower door has a squeegee which removes the water as it rolls up. The dining table removes.
yes we have heard about the squeegee thing, which is great but I think I would want to let it air dry as much as possible too. Since you have this trailer could share with us why or in what situations you would want to remove the table? It's always good to hear different owner's perspectives. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I prefer the theater seating, the U shape dinette is so uncomfortable for lounging
Great, then this one is for you. Eating and comfortable lounging all in one space. Glad you like it. Thanks for watching.
Almost perfect! Darn the exterior door in the bedroom.
Maybe you can get it without the second door??? What about the second door is it that you don't like?
We didn't like the second either at first but then decided we would keep locked and use like an emergency exit and use the floor space for more storage.
@@donnabarnes8298 That's a workable idea. Thanks for sharing it.
I hate those shower doors too I’m going with a cougar because I hate that and I’m not wild about the new cabinets either
Lol
@@cherylyoung440 Very true. We would be ok with a curtain too. We hope we can help you find the right one for you.
I thought they offered a dinette as an option. Like most offer bigger refrigerators and 2nd ac units.
You are right they do offer the dinette as an option. Thanks for watching.
According to Grand Design website the Fridge is 8 CU Ft
Sounds about right. Thanks for sharing and watching
Thanks for asking and spending your time on our channel.
how tall is she 4.11
Lovely trailer, but where do you put your trash?
We would put our trash in the taller bottom cupboard next to the sink on the door side. We love that big cabinet and would hate to have to use it for garbage but we think that is where it would have to go. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching
Nice review. Which model year is this, and how tall are you? Just for reference, if I may ask. Thanks.
Glad you liked it. It is a 2019 and I am 5' tall. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

Cheers 🍻
@@DoesSizeMatter You didn't confuse me at all when you said u shaped dinette or anything else for that matter.
Love your channel it’s the best out there thanks for all your hard work.
@@cherylyoung440 Ya it is a tough market right now and it is great that you have found another option that suits you because patience in your buying process will take you far. We are glad to hear you aren't feeling rushed.
Everything is too high when you're 5 foot nuthin'. However, nice little package.
Unbiased?
Absolutely! You can always count on the information we share with you to be completely unbiased. We receive absolutely no payment from the dealerships or manufacturers and everything we share comes from the research that we do and our experience and opinions on how we use an RV. No worries, we got your back. Thanks for watching.
With all respect, aren't a LOT of things going to be "too high" for you in a camper?
Indeed they are, for me and a lot of other people. That is why we point out what works for us and it helps others to know what will work for them and totally shows how we can still make things work. Thanks for watching.
@@DoesSizeMatter ...May I ask your height so I can get an idea? I m 5'10". My Wife is 5'4".
Those built in pet bowls are worthless if you have 3 LARGE dogs. I know that's not the norm though.
The new ones come in a light European color and is very nice.
@@donnabarnes8298 Ooooo We'll have to look for that. We'd love to see it. There is always something new out there whatever suits your style.
@@DoesSizeMatter Yes the 2020 feels very light and airy with the lighter color. In fact the grand design site has them with the lighter color.
@@donnabarnes8298 Awesome, we will take a look. Going to the RV Show in West Palm Beach next and then have a few dealerships we will be stopping at so we will take a look.
I don’t like this one at all! Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your opinion and watching.
Ooo don’t like it at all rrr
Bummer right? There were lots of other good things about this trailer. I really liked the kitchen it's just that particular seating arrangement wasn't for us but then other people watching have liked it. So to each his own we always say. Thanks for watching.
"Unbiased" my ass,
We’re not sure what you consider unbiased but we do not work for or receive any compensation from RV manufacturers or dealerships. Everything we share is based on our own research and opinions and that is the definition of ‘unbiased’ on our channel. Hope that helps you learn a little about us before voicing your opinions.
Small is hot, today😒 Perhaps because of the possibility that the price of gas may go up
I think you are probably right about that. Thanks for watching
How tall are you 4’?
I am 5' tall, Hope that helps, thanks for watching
