When you put the barrels on you are supposed to put them on and leave the nuts loose, then tighten the head down, then tighten the barrels down. If you tighten the barrels down to the cases there is a high risk of cracking the rear nut 'ears' off the barrels and/or getting the power valves jammed.

Where and how much was it to get the barrels recoated
The barrels were sent to Langcourt and I think they were around £150 each to get plated
